Evil

exactly. besides, if it weren't for the bad, we wouldn't appreciate the good

 

Sorry this is dumb but how do you think of evil. I like to play off of others views not mine. So I can't really answer without a definition.

 

There will always be evil, because evil is caused by greed. Humans, being flawed, are greedy.

 

these must be evil people in the world cause if there wasnt there would be no one to hate and it would be very boring.

 

Agreed all humans have the 7 sins. We can't escape it, but do our best to not let it take our us and shape us into "evil".

 

Well, how can love feel good in your personal perception?

Of course it feels good, because that's the way you interpret 'love'. You interpret it as 'good' and 'joyous'. Whereas I, another candidate, perceive love as redundant and boring, overused and pointless. It just makes people upset in the end, and makes them feel bad throughout it as a whole.

You should really try opening your mind to more possibilities. Evil is evil, sure, but some people find evil to be a type of love and goodness. Like things you think are bad, such as robbing banks, for example, might be considered fun and totally necessary to others. You see? There's a lot more to it than the definitive 'love = good no matter what' and 'evil = bad no matter what'.

 

But then if I open my mind to see it how you see it, why can't you see it from mine? I'm all for having an open mind, and in most things I do, but if you expect me to understand your point then please at least try to understand mine. I'm not narrow minded in fact I'm far from it and I resent the suggestion that I am.

I'm not trying to cause major arguments here or anything but I think it's a bit harsh to imply my opinion is flawed and then expect me to see the world how you see it.

I never said that love is always good and I also said previously that it can be manipulated for the purpose of evil, and I also agreed with White-Rook that it can cause irrationality. I never said love was perfect, (nothing ever can be for if something was perfect in everyway it must be perfectly flawed too!) I just don't see it as The Cause of Evil, I think human nature causes that by itself.

 

Did you listen to what they we're saying in Kingdom Hearts 2. The World needs darkness and light to make balance, if you didn't have darkness, then light wouldn't exist, you can't have one without the other and if it was just light, it would be scary.

 

I more or less agree with everyone when they say you have to have evil, for example if you have a candle and you stand near it there will be a shadow or darkness, every light must have a shadow! And the sad truth is humans are naturally evil, most of them will only care about themselves and do evil things just to get what they want. Sorry if i crushed anyone's ideas of a nice peaceful world with flowers, butterflies and rainbows!:D
