Everyone, listen to this...

I just found out about it today.
On Wednesday evening, a woman from my church named Sadey Finney was shot to death by her husband.

Sadey and Aaron Finney had three boys, their ages 5, 10, and 12.
Sadey and Aaron had been going through a divorce for a couple of months. Aaron had totally been abusing Sadey. Finally, a restraining order was put on Aaron.
Aaron had kept on saying that he didn't think that Sadey was raising the kids right, and that he should be the only one raising them.

So... on Wednesday, he broke into Sadey's condo through a glass patio door.
Aaron was saying some threatening things, and he had a gun.
All three boys were right there in the house.

Aaron fired a shot right at Sadey. It missed, and went right through a couple of rooms. Sadey ran into the bedroom, and Aaron followed her. The 12 year old boy was shouting at his father,"Don't shoot Mommy!"
Aaron threw Sadey on the floor of their bedroom, and shot her three times in the body, and one time in the head.

Aaron found some gasoline, and started pouring it all over Sadey, the bedroom, and the couch. Aaron lit it right before shooting himself in the head.

When the boys saw the smoke, they immediately ran out of the house, and clammored over to their neighbors. Luckily, the whole condo didn't burn down, because it was equipped with sprinklers.... but man.... I really can't believe this....

I would hate to be one of those boys.... their father shot their mother to death.... right in front of their eyes....

I live in NYC...there's so many stories like that I wouldn't be able to relay them all to you people...XD

 

It's unfortunate, but not uncommon.... like Cin mentioned. xD

I'm near chicago myself. and man i've heard my fair share of crazy stories. it's always tough for everyone concerned.

 

Whoah... you guys must live in some tough neighborhoods... I live in Southern California.... it's pretty safe....

 

Naw, not really... mines safe too. But I live near Detroit, so I hear it on the news all the time...lol

 

A girl that went to my school was shot in the back of the head, I think, and killed at a party by gang members. My friend, who was a friend of hers, was suppose to go to that party.

I live in a neighborhood filled with gangs, but this is one of the few that I can remember since it happened on the 23 of march.

 

Oh my gosh......Why does there have to be violence?

 

I live near Atlanta, so it's not uncommon for the downtown ghetto-ish regions to have stuff like this happen. Of course...most of the "gangs" around here are preps trying to be funny...

That's a sad story...both of you. I couldn't imagine having that happen to me.

 

worst part of it for me personally isn't all of that. it's actually the fact that i've become so numb to it. not to undermine those stories, but the fact that i can see such tragedy and just shrug it off hurts too.

 

Oh, I can imagine...I've seen people like that (and people that are the complete opposite.) I think that maybe what you need to do is just try and not watch the News and stuff...maybe that can help you from even thinking about it.

 

I live near chicago and well not much happens suprisingly but I hate ghetto events they're so ill-manered and complete non-sense.

 

I live in Dallas... I've seen a lot of violence... My friend got shot in the foot a couple days ago... And I still feel that it's partly my fualt...

 

Yeah, livin' near Detroit you hear some pretty sick stuff.

 

Not too long ago some one was stabbed to death near my school. Pretty sad, since the city I live in doesn't have gangs. It was a gang from a neighboring city.

I hate murder. T^T

 

I pretty much hate all death... But I'd much rather see two gang members kill eachother than a husband shoot his wife...

 

Actually that happened across the street from my house when I was like 4 or 5. It was right before my birthday and during my party police came to the house to investigate or something.

 

police at your house when your like 5? that must of been scary.

 

There was a series of armed robberies on my block not a few weeks ago...

One of the people int he apartment next door was shot...;D

I was ta school at the time, and no, they didn't die. But it was kinda weird.

There was a bullet-whole in our kitchen...D:

 

Man.... I hate this...... this world is so awful...
