What is DMC3? I only play War Rock, CS: Source, and Unreal Tournament 2004.

dmc3 is devil may cry3, one of the best action, aka. slash and shoot them up, games out there. If you like these kind of games, you should buy it. It's worth every cent you pay

I play that occasionally on my PS2. I am waiting for DMC4 to come out on XBOX360.

you're lucky, I would like to play devil may cry4 when it comes out, but I don't have a ps3 or xbox360 or a good enough pc, and I will never buy them

Having a second player control your doppleganger was really fun, but frustrating at times as they can stinger off screen and vanish for a good deal of time. You have to be patient to play it like that. As for the gelatinous Arkam, it's fun to control Virgil, but I prefer to have full control of him in DMC 3: Special Edition.

I never knew you could have multiplayers in DMC3...is this only for the SE version?

Nope, it can be done in the original as well but you need to get the Doopleganger style. you also need Super Dante so that the second player can stay on forever.

What you basically do is activate the Doppleganger style, have someone press start on the second player controller, and voila they can control and move you doppleganger around. The only other multiplayer part is when fighting the gelatinous Arkam. When Virgil enters the fight someone can press start on the second player controller and control Virgil.

Super Dante's the real pain in the arse to get depending on your skill. To unlock him you just need to beat Dante Must Die Mode. Either that or you can use the cheat code to unlock all characters, and game bonuses.

Cool, I didn't even know there was a way to have two players at the same time. Thanks White_Rook, now I'm going to have to try that.

cool it looks like that some people figured this trick out too. It's really cool to play multiplayer, although it is a little frustrating

Yeah it's difficult to do anything stylish with the second player as they'll often just stinger off screen to hit an enemy that isn't in view of the camera.

Yeah...but having a second player to play as Doppelganger is only fun when you are Super Dante. Because, well, you run out of stars for your Devil Trigger.

I have tried it but it's nothing exciting or special.

That and I'm pretty sure Nero and Dante have a lot of issues with each other in the first half og the game.

There should not be under any circumstances be 'online' DMC co-op. It just sounds...iffish. I mean, really, you can expect lag and if you imagine that happening, you'll end up getting pwned by the enemy. I mean, look at this way...you are playing as Dante in DMC 4. You activate Devil Trigger, the game lags and then you end up transforming back into your normal form.

    >.>

As a result, you've just wasted all of those Devil Trigger 'Power' due to the fact of 'lag'.

...sides, why just have Dante and Nero? Why not Lucia? Why not Trish? ...dare I say it, why not Vergil too?
