Kingdom Hearts II ever notice? (Pride Lands)

I'm Playing KH2 over and when got to the pride lands I noticed the lack of facial animation on sora. Has anybody else notice this?

Yeah, I've noticed that the last few times I've played. I thought that since it's a different form that they'd put in more facial expression, but they put in enough to satisfy me. So it's not that big of a deal.

 

Yeah, I noticed that the first time I played through. I just figured it was harder to give him facial expressions cause he's a lion. It's not really that obvious, anyway.​

 

It's cuz he's a lion. Simba they did a great job on, but Sora.....eh, it was funny for me to watch.

 

Well, how do you tell facial expression on a lion? X3

 

Yeah. That and the fact that he rarely ever moves his eyes. I mean he doesn't blink or anything. It's creepy. O.o The only time I think he ever does it in the Pride Lands is when you first get there and when you fight a boss...​

 

Yeah, and if you can read emotions from a lion's face, your amazing. XP

I know why they couldn't put expression on. Because they couldn't properly examine a lion's expressions. By the time you're close enough to tell its mood, you're dead.

 

Yeah, but it doesn't bother me. His human face lacked animation every ow and then, especially in KH1​

 

Not really. Well, maybe in KH1, but not really in KH2.

 

A little bit.I've noticed it.His face with no movement.Same place always.A smile and lip movement.That's it.They should have done a better job with that.

 

I didn't notice it too much, but it's understandable. It was probably a more challenging task to give him expressions at all, since they were used to working with his human form. Still, they gave him enough expressions throughout the whole thing to keep me satisfied. =)

 

It didn't really bother me much, but I'm sure they had reasons, be it more hours put into working on it, difficulty, etc. Though Sora did seem like a emotionless blob during that time xD.

 

Well I can guarantee that if KH3 is put on the PS3 (as I personally think it should be, unless something better comes out before they start making it), you can count on facial expression to be a LOT better. Along with everything else... lol.

But yea, I did notice that during a lot of the series that certain characters seemed to have... lacking facial espressions. Especially during the text-bubble scenes (but those are to be expected).

I noticed but I didn't mind, I just enjoyed all the openness and everything else to see in the world. I really hope the Pride Lands are in KH3, it'd be awesome to see Sora or another main as a lion with more effort used on it.
