    Hello, everyone.

Now, im one of those people who cant make decisions. There are lots of them if you havn't noticed, and now seeing that i cant make a choice i've resorted to asking a forum of people. "Surely i can find my answer here" i thought.

I've got a very annoying (and something that will most likely waste peoples time but if you helped i'd appreciate it) choice. I simply cant decide wether i should get an Xbox360, PS3 or PSP.

I have reasons to be confused. I want each one of them for seperate reasons.

    Xbox360:

mainly because my friends keep annoying me about it. they want me to get Xbox live and crap, but ofcourse with the game they want me to buy (including some of the ones i want), the Xbox live, the headphones and maybe a few other things will cost me $500 and up.

    PS3:

This because i LOVE RPG's. and playstations are usualy what all good rpg's are on. The internet on it is free and theres so many reasons that i really just forgot (oh yeah, 1 of them was PS2 games arn't being made, so im stuck unless i get one of these)

    PSP:

I want this for 1 reason and 1 reason ONLY. i know BBS WILL come out sometime thats getting close, and i Realy want this game as soon as i can get it. thats about all i want a PSP for...

    so, what would you recomend?

I'd say buy a PS3. It seems like you want it more.

Then start saving for a PSP and BBS.

PS3 for sure. It has a very nice range of games, free internet play and of course a Blu-ray player.

That's it in a nutshell for me. xD

I'd say go for the PS3. You can save up later for the PSP and the BBS game.

From someone who owns all three: PS3. 360 is going to cost you more in the long run. Also, get one that's backwards-compatible. Don't ask questions, just do it.

If your only motivation is RPGs, though, pick up the PSP afterward, because it has a shitload more than the PS3, and a lot of old PS1/PS2 RPGs are being ported to it. I'd recommend the Yggdra Union/Disgaea ports and Neverland Card Battles.

I wouldn't get a PSP now, as it's cheap and while it has a lot of cool games, in the long run a console is what would be better.
While playing with friends is always fun, I'd recommend the PS3. I just see it as a much better investment, not to mention the free online part.
But hey, you could always see the library of games on both systems and see what you like more.

Also, I'd ignore what Nouveau Nova said and get a slim model, as they're better than the old models, have a bigger HDD, and all that jazz.

Being able to play PS1/2 games using only one system > all that jazz

Everyone I know who owns a slim wishes they had my PS3. I fail to see how they are particularly better.

Oh don't get me wrong, I have a phat PS3. The slims are just particularly better at surviving the dreaded YLOD, while the 60GB BC Models are the ones that get hit the most.

Possibly because they're the oldest, but the slims actually use less power (33% less), which causes less overheating, which causes less chance of getting it.
Granted it's only a 8-10%, while the 360 has a 25% of getting a RROD, among other things.
The Slim is also faster, and the huge HDD is just a huge plus to be honest.

And if you already have a PS2, why wear out the PS3s Blu-Ray drive with useless BC? >_>

    lolwut ?

Yeah, at that point you're pretty much pulling hairs. I've only had one or two for as long as I've owned my PS3, and I tend to leave it on for days at a time, with shit on every side of it to boot. They work fine.

    (1) Convenience. You can pawn off your old systems and keep everything in one nice, neat little space. Means a lot to a college student sharing a dorm.

    (2) What if you don't have a PS2? I was introduced to Sony through my stepbrother, and though my stack of PS2 games eventually overshadowed my Gamecube stack, I never actually got one. I'll bet money more people than you'd think are in the same boat.

    Again, lolwut.
    They're the same thing.
This is worse than comparing the 360 vs PS3 graphics >_> IT'S THE SAME CONSOLE. Just different models.

I also like the fact that the fan is quiet >_> I dunno, I actually really like some of the 360 games, I'll admit it, but as a console it's bad.

True true. Heck, I left my PS2 at my parents' house, which does make it much more convenient.
Plus every time I wanted to play PS2, I had to unplug the PS3 and whatnot >_> Laziness ftw?

Eh, BC is cool. But slims are just better hardware wise. It just comes down to what you want I guess, and what's better for you.

    Look it up, sheesh.
You honestly expect Sony to make a new model with less HD/Graphic capabilities than it's predecessors?

My fat one does not play PS/2 games :c

but i recommend PS3, only reason i want an Xbawks is for Mass Effect and Fable 2, But Bioware said they might port ME to it.

but yeah PS3 pretty much has and will have the hottest games.

You do realise it is difficult to find PS3 models that allow backwards capability? I'd suggest the slim version. All that HDD will come in handy. xD
