You could have had some better proof to back up your argument and though biodegradeable plastic bags is a good idea it won't make a big enough effect to help the enviroment.

I did put that I don't take offense easily but that does not give you the right to purposely insult me, I respect your view but could you at least be polite about what you put.

Why doesn't it? Polictics is a big part of global warming. The government has the power over everything that it can get its hands on, including the factories and other buildings or companies that are the very people creting global warming around the world.

May I ask what you would want me to do? I have already put that if I was to try and stop the troubles of the world I would lose. That is why I am trying to show people my point of view. Humans continually use animals as fodder, like cows or chickens humans raise them from theirerly life untilthey would give the best source of meat, this is the time when they slaughter them for meat, I know that it is alright to eat animals because it is survival of the fitest but making the slaughter of animals into a business is a pervasion on nature.

Thank you for agreeing with me. It is hard to put a point across, espically if it is so different to what everyone is use to hearing.

In my opinion, humans are greater than animals. Animals were put on this Earth for humns to rule and eat and stuff. I believe in God so I believe that we were created by him NOT by evolution.

May I ask what gives humans the right to belittle other species?

i agree. we have smarter minds, it is true, but does that mean we are in any way more important than they are?

Humans rely on animals more then they actually know, since they need them for food, protection, anti-venoms and loads more.

I believe I said what you could do, Peace-at-War, which was to get active in community groups and lobby with others with like feelings. In the end, are you hoping your words inspire someone else to do something because you won't? There are things to do. I gave a whole list of them. You can say some important messages and there are groups out there. You just have to look for them. Some animal protection groups are even found on google search. I wish you luck in whatever you decide to do. Sometimes simple communication is enough to start something moving.

Any way, some people who are Christian believe that God put the animals on the earth so that mankind could rule them, so you aren't going to win over these hardcore fanatics with your views ever. About the only 'famous' Christian to care for animals in strong recognition was the Catholic St. Francis, who believed in caring for all life in a more equal way. At the time of his life, of course, he was considered a heretic. This is one of the reasons I am definitely not a follower of the monotheistic deity. Even if creationism was true, I doubt that deity intended on people mutilating animals, herding them in filthy conditions and giving them drugs or making plant eaters devour their own species through processed foods etc. I also doubt it intended on people cutting down the rain forests and causing more of a Green House effect with all of the carbon dioxide not being absorbed by the trees now and etc etc. We all pretty much know the devastation caused by some rotten corporations and if this is what that deity intended by a divine right of command over the environment and animal ken, well...I won't say where it can go.

I agree some of humanity has gone too far, but I also do not believe 'all' of humanity has and I won't choose to condemn it or hate it. For every ugly thing some group does that is just out for money or greed, there are some beautiful things that transpire and people donate time or effort into awesome stuff that really turns things around.

The average person would be to lazy to get up and help animals, they only care about what they need to do and the resut is that animals are harmed from it.

Today there was a frog I found at the site I am working on to build a house and it was very sunny and humid. The frog had been stuck in the house 'basement' I am working in and it was quite hot out. I didn't think twice about it really, getting the poor guy some water from my water bottle as it hid under one of the pieces of wood I had out there to avoid the sun. It seemed very grateful and relaxed once it realized I was just pouring some water on it and in the sand/dirt around it so it would stay cool until nightfall, and then it could find its way back to the water.

People do small things all the time to help animals. I would find it sad that you only seem to ever point out the worst flaws in people but never notice the positive things people do for nature. The area where the house is being built at is also being largely left alone for nature and is simply beautiful. The area where the house is being built was cleared out a while ago before we got there but everything else is being left largely untainted and untouched on quite a few acres of land since the owners appreciate and love nature and the animals.

There was also a stand taken against the treatment of chickens raised by a local grocery store chain here privately and people stopped buying eggs due to it from there until they fixed their way of maintaining chickens and made their environment better. The people who let us know had made a website and also were protesting harmlessly and the regular people around took action by not purchasing the eggs and also responded to the site and changes were met.

We have people that take in homeless cats, dogs etc and run private land care places for these animals that others will abandon. Some people donate money to help in taking care of these animals.

Many people each day do small things that spare animals lives so while some may be cruel, or just inconsiderate and looking for mass amounts of money by skimping on caring for 'herd' animals etc, others aren't like that. I see your points that some people just are selfish and don't think of these things, but others do care and do try and while these may not be immense things, most people cannot afford to do huge projects themselves. I even own two cats which one was abandoned and left in a box outside of a Bingo hall, and the other was abused and very sick but I took them in with my friend and our vet gave us discounts to helping fix them up and giving them a better life. They are now very happy and healthy. Do you see my point at all that not all people are horrible monsters with no appreciation for their surroundings? Even some of the posts here show that there are a lot of people who are angry at what is going on or upset and they probably take time too out to be a part of nature and life and do their parts. Every little bit counts.

Hmm... I think animals have some things on us, and we have some things on them. Each species has their own strengths and weaknesses.
