Annoying behavior is to be discouraged. Members (that I know of) don't just want you to stop posting altogether, and they don't want to ignore you altogether either.

They don't want to have to ignore you. They don't want your posts to be the kinds of things they would rather ignore. They want you to post only good things.

They want you to improve.
