    ~Jace~
Jace simply smiled at Rachael, not at all perturbed by her apprehensive behavior. "I apologize," he whispered, eyes saddened, as Ryder now partook in the conversation. After the swift exchange of words, Dr Shankman announced that they were now to enter the battle arena. Jace was quite hesitant, rubbing a hand against his collar. "Dr Shankman," Jace began, his tone hollow. "Is it wise for me to enter the arena at this time?" He asked. However, he suspected that Dr Shankman had an ulterior motive for wanting him in there. Was it due to the brutality that both Lone and Darcy were displaying? Whatever it was, Jace took a deep breath. "Don't come crying to me when you need your toys replaced, Shankman." Jace's personality had completely flipped, from that of a polite young man to that of a self-assured demon. His steely blue eyes hardened. "I should also mention," Jace added, as he paused right before the portal, after Rachael had enter. "That we're both on a time-clock." The electromagnetic enhancermorph let the cryptic message hang ominously within the classroom.

By being the last to enter the portal, a spark of static caused a disturbance in the tech, shutting the portal close automatically. Once upon the icy field of battle, Jace stood twenty feet away from Darcy and Rachael. He didn't bother trying to hold on to his electromagnetic field, letting it roam wildly about. Electricity coursed around his body in an invisible aura, his hair dancing with feral glee, as if it were alive with a hellish wind. The collar sparked, his release of control causing the malfunction to accelerate. The snow and ice about his feet burst apart, revealing the floors of the training room, static running here and there as the tech began to short-out.

Jace began to take in a swift analysis; Rachael locked eyes with Lone, who had already began to stand, eyes feral. A levitating shard of ice rose from that was once in Lone's grasp, but the enhancermorph didn't bother with it. Of course, Jace knew he wouldn't... Lone could heal any wound so long as it did not completely destroy an organ, decapitate him, or dismembered him completely. Jace also took note of Rachael. She was a telekinetic with telepathic tendencies. Though new to it, she was quite advanced in being able to perform two tasks at once; one task being less notable were it not for the fact she appeared strained, tense. Darcy, on the other hand, was losing the fight; though it always seemed that he had the upperhand, the truth of the matter was, was that Darcy did not have the stamina of Lone.

"Darcy," Jace spoke, his tone alien. "Make sure you keep twenty-paces away from me. That goes for you, too, Rachael."
    ~Lone~
Lone looked at the two newcomers as he recovered from his scrap with Darcy. "Quick tip, Newbie," Lone began, his tone mocking. "I'm in a whole other league than you. Why do you think the Doc sent these two in?" Lone's eyes met with Rachael's for a brief instant; when they locked for that short time, for what seemed like an eternity, she would notice the maelstrom of rage and tenacity that made up his psyche. He broke eye contact and dove instantly to the right, scraping up the other ice shards he had tossed earlier. With two pumps of his arm, he tossed two shards at two targets. The first target was toward the shard Rachael had levitated to Lone's chest when he had been standing there. The second was toward's Darcy; however, the ice shard digitized, no longer existing. Lone noticed the twenty-foot circle around Jace and growled. It barely brushed the heels of Darcy and Rachael's feet. What was going on? He wondered, curious.
    ~Red~
Red turned to Elle and smiled deviously. "I was sick. I had a fever," he replied, a Cheshire grin upon his face. "So, tell me... what all did I miss? And I want to know everything." Red added, his face serious. He knew better than to toy with Elle for too long, and this information was quite vital. Red leaned back into his chair and began to tap his pencil, staring at Elle. Fire and ice never mixed well; that was true. But Red also knew that ice and fire could be a deadly combination, and he wanted to prove it to Elle by giving her complete and total and undivi--- oh, look, a squirrel! Red began looking out the window again, already bored. His attention fell apart. Red was a working sort of person, the kind that would enjoy doing something hands-on rather than through a book or paper... or words. Nevertheless, he tried to make an effort.

    And failed miserably.

When Rachael entered the world that where the thoughts in Lones mind, it wasn't easy to decipher. Unlike most of the time when there was one screaming thought easy to read and figure something to do with it but his his was confusing. There were many different plans and though processes, but not only that rage... there was something causing him to be angry and act certain ways. What that thing was she couldn't tell, he broke the stare before she could figure it out. She needed to focus on the battle anyways not what was going on in Lone's mind to make him the way he was.

Rachael turned her focus back onto the ice chunk she was levitating. Getting it in the air was the easy part but moving it was the harder part. That took a lot more skill. Though she had already proven her skill by being able to pick it up while reading Lone's mind. She was proud of herself for that, it seemed like her practice was paying off. She went to launch the ice shard at Lone as he launched his own back but the ice piece moved only a foot or two, wobbled and then fell to the ground. She had lost her concentration, too focused on what she read in Lone's mind. But he was her enemy in this circumstance, what was in his mind shouldn't matter to her.

Rachael took a step towards the edge of the simulator away from Jace. He said to keep 20 paces away and though she was already outside that range she wanted to be safe. She needed some sort of tactic for this fight or else she would end up like Darcy. Her mind flashed to pages of a textbook talking about different tactics. It was the advantage of having a photographic memory. Not many knew about it though, they just thought she was smart. But it had its downfalls too. She was forced to see things she didn't want to even remember. The tactic that Rachael came up with would only work if she could pull it off, which she wasn't sure she could. In an environment like this it would take a lot of improvising with what was around her a heap ton of snow. She had to be careful with what she was doing and couldn't let Lone see which meant she had to do it behind his back and couldn't lead on she was doing anything at all. Rachael began to slowly levitate and compress small amounts of snow to form an arrow of sorts. It took her nearly five minutes to create a small one that wasn't exatly what she wanted but it would do. Having done it all with her powers made it harder but she figured out ways. She know she lacked the ability to control her powers well so she wouldn't do it on purpose and try, instead she would do the same thing she did earlier. Daydream and let her powers take over. This was dangerous because she knew they would be even less under control and may give away what she was doing if some stay object began to float but what else could she do. She bit her lip as she focused on making it fly now. She couldn't just daydream this up. This time she actually got it moving but not fast, she just hoped that it was sharp enough to do something cause she couldn't get speed or accuracy that well.

Darcy acknowledged Jace and Rachel's appearance, as well as Jace's warning. Darcy limped back 20 feet, staying next Rachel, then changed his weapon again. At first, it fluctuated, glitching from scattergun to his next weapon. But as soon as Darcy was clear from Jace, his weapon changed completely into what looked some kind of drill. He knew that Dr. Shankman had sent the two as back up.
"Hey Lone." Darcy called out, "Why so stern on putting me in place? I never did anything to hurt your pride. If anything, you're starting to look notorious."
He slammed his drill on the ground, spinning and turning in the ground.

On Dr. Shankman's end, the VR fizzed, as if power was being sapped. Dr. Shankman checked the vital systems. Darcy's stamina and adrenaline levels were rising. He was sapping power from the VR itself. Yet, he did nothing.

Darcy felt as his vision began to sharpen, his body re-energizing. He flexed and crack his his wrist and fingers, and he stretched his back. His hearing and smell also magnified, smelling the burn of electricity and hear the crackling. He stopped the drill as it changed back to his Scattergun. Thanks to the boost, his entire body was racing. His brain was running a mile a minute, trying to figure out the best way to take Lone out.

Darcy took in the surroundings, as well as the combatants. Rachel was holding up some VR Ice pillars but was stressing to get ready to move them. Jace seemed to be creating a shield of energy around Darcy, Rachel and himself. The 20 paces statement also told Darcy that Jace had a knack of EMPing anything within 20 paces.

Suddenly, a plan hit Darcy like a brainstorm. Electricity! Every human being had electrical impulses that told other body parts to move. However, if disabled, the body couldn't move. Maybe, if Jace could get close enough to Lone, he could disable Lone's impulses. But Jace needed a distraction.

"Jace." Darcy said tho the EMPer, "Do you have the power to potentially disable Lone's electrical impulses to move his arms and legs? If so, Rachel and I will provide a distraction for that to work."
He turned to Rachel and said, "We need to keep him occupied."

"Well, there is this enemy group called the Ut Mali." Elle explained quietly. "It was founded by the same scientists involved in the First Enhancermorph Project. The issue? They're using other Enhancermorphs as chopped liver to erase us."
The lights flickered for a second, causing some of the students to scream out. The lights then turned back on just as suddenly.
"Apologies everyone." A robotic voice came from the intercom, "There was a short power drainage detected at the Battle Hall. It has passed, you may resume your studies."
Elle groaned. She thought that they would be dismissed because of the outage. Oh well. She continued to talk to Red.
"Callistar said that thanks to our clean record, we're the first ones informed about this situation. Thank god he overlooked the times you screwed up." She gave him a look that said, 'you know what I mean by that, right?'

So far, they managed to keep quiet, at times taking a quick glance at one another. Sometimes, one would burst out from impatience, ready to wreck the whole SUV had it not been for the death glares that their leader gave them. "Patience..." He kept repeating, over and over to calm down his brothers. But it was true, even the leader had trouble keeping his own patience, after witnessing the others getting some action of their own, most especially Reaper.

If anything, the sleep made it worse, because he just woke up with an ache in the back of his head...and spine. Not only that, but he barely slept at all. "Oh, would you just COME ON ALREADY." He growled, and left his dorm, not bothering to close the door, stomping down the hall until he arrived at the Battle Hall. Why did he go there? Well, if he was going to have grief eat away at his heart for some time, he might as well see if he can take it out on other people in a bit of a battle. That ought to have liven things up. Unfortunately for him...

His mind was so boggled he didn't realize that there was a class in session. It surprised him, the amount of people he found. Looking around, he recognized a few people, such as that girl from yesterday's class. Rachel, right? And there was the new kid, doing what looked like sparring with another person. That looked like Lone...Right? Well, didn't matter, he wasn't going to have a casual conversation with him in the midst of a battle. Since they seemed so busy, he groaned, turned, and left the arena, making his way to the plaza. Again.

"I-I will try. " Rachael stammered as she dropped her ice pillar. "Damn it!" She said out loud. The smallest loss of concentration caused her to fail at what she was doing. But either way it was time for her to cause a distraction. She didn't know how she would distract him but she had to find a way. Her eyes darted around the room for something to help with the distraction. She saw a few things but nothing she could do anything with. She finally decided to just send random things flying around trying to distract.

Rachael closed her eye to start to focus on sending the objects flying, but before she could do anything an image of the escape from the facility her and many other here where held in flashed in her mind. Her knees started to shake and it to everything for her to ignore it and go on with her plan. Picking random objects up and starting sending it flying around the room. She figure all the memories and dreams spawned from there mission.

Darcy watched as Rachel threw some VR ice. But it was hesitant; it lacked effort and it seemed scruple. Was Rachel actually afraid to die in a simulation? Darcy nearly laughed out of amusement, but then remembered Dr. Shankman saying something that you can get seriously hurt in here. That notion, plus Lone's attitude and tactics was enough for Darcy to get with the program.

He looked at Rachel. Her knees were shaking, and she was concentrating a little too hard for one to think that she was alright. He walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder and gave it a small squeeze to get her attention. Darcy leaned to her ear and whispered, "I don't know how much experience you have on the field, but I can tell that you're afraid."

His voice became more calm, more persuasive as he continued, "If you are afraid of failing, don't think about it. thinking about it will only make it worse. Focus on the task at hand, and you'll succeed. I have faith in you."---

There was darkness in the room. Darkness, except the light from various computer screens in the room. Each screen showed various news stations showing destruction of Jax Malubourne's team. Cars were smashed, people were dead, some were either trapped or crying for help. Jax's team now sat and waited for their main target. Little did they know that 7 Black Ops specialists were watching them through city cameras.

There were 4 males and 3 females. Each person had a mask on that represented their emotions or powers. Some were Enhancermorphs. Others...well, they aren't exactly "human". Nonetheless, they were the government's current trump card. They each had a code name, job, and designation class. They all had one thing in common though: They are some of the most dangerous people of the entire country, and were assembled for that very purpose. Some people called them the Seven Immortals, or the Lucky Sevens. But in reality, no one, not even the actual government (Ironic, right?) knew who they were. Even their own identities have been erased from both public and private records, including their very own. Only the agents themselves knew who they were.

The one closest to the left looked on and chuckled lightly. But it sounded serious.
"Look at the leader. Isn't that the 'Unloved One', according to the database?" The male asked to the others. His voice was smooth, as if even the wind spoke through him. He wore a mask that showed a calm face, with wavy lines like face paint.
"Yep." Said the male to his far right, "That's him. Could've anticipated that he would do something like this. According to Scatterbone's hacking, they are part of a group related to the Enhancermorph Project. Apparently they're using these people as mercenaries." This male's voice had a razor edge, as if two voices spoke at once. His mask showed two faces, One emotionless, one monstrous.
One of the females turned her head to face the two conversing males. Her mask showed a face of one screaming.
"What should we do about this type of situation?" She asked. Even though she didn't sound like she spoke well, but there sounded like an alluring note to her voice, like a song.
"I say we go in there and intervene." Said another of the males. This one's voice held power. But he seemed brash and impulsive. His mask showed an angry emotion with a lighting bolt streaking across the face. "It doesn't seem right that we hang back while the rest of the government may be forced to deal with this groups every request."

"Once again, you tire me with your willingness to help." Said the second female, wearing what looked like a mask with armor. She sounded bored. "Use your head. If we charge in there without any plan, we could fall to any traps that the 'Unloved One' or that...thing..could put up." The female cracked her neck. Strangely, her snapping bones sounded more sickening then that of an ordinary human.
"Well, he does bring up a valid point." Chimed in the last female. Her voice sounded curious, childish, but was reinforced with fiery determination. Her mask looked like that of a wolf. "Even though we need to watch for traps, we can't just sit here and wait for Tenebris City to die out."
As all six members continued to argue, they all heard a short blast of white noise. They all stopped arguing and turned to the last member, who stood in the middle. He was standing and was silent the entire time. This last person, was the group's leader. He wore a smiling mask. Though it seemed very plain, many people including the teammates, have confirmed that just by looking directly at the leader's mask proved to be unsettling, as if there might be something dangerous behind it.
"It would be unwise to let these people take whatever they want. However, it is also unwise to get in there immediately. We are considered a last resort. A clean-up crew. Every single case that we've managed to take down, through precise measures. I plan to keep it that way, while keeping our anonymous status." The leader's voice was cold and quiet. No one else dared to speak.
"There is also another group that has already been established. According to private records, the facility is called 'OmegaTech.' They seem to be still studying the Alyx-314, trying to still revolutionize genetic codes. They are also responsible for the 25% increase in pureblood Enhancermorphs, as well as an anonymous provider of medical care and technology. If I had to take guess, I would have to say they also train Enhancermorphs, not as paid soldiers, but as adults of a new generation."
The leader turned to face the rest of his group. Some flinched as the leader's gaze passed over them, others looked to the floor.
"I say we get them on the line and report of this ragtag group that's attacking the city. In the end, if it get's out of hand, we will know which powers are more dominant or recessive to us. After all, as the last resort, we're the one's holding the cards."

One could swear that the leader might've

He had about twenty out and about in the city which is why he can't be joining his copies. Using his powers as he would describe is like juggling, the more copies he has the more he has to keep track of.
After a few minutes he was getting bored. As much fun as shooting up a city is, it loses it's appeal with nobody to challenge him. "Ok Jaxie when is some real challenge coming? When is OmegaTech coming?" All of his clones said in unison. "As much fun as this is, killing those beneath us loses it's charm when they don't fight back." They stated.

Rachael shook her head at Darcy. She wasn't worried about failing. She had not even thought about that happening until he had brought it up. She was afraid of the scientists that made her like this. She was afraid of another war, and she was afraid because of their mission briefing. But Darcy wouldn't understand any of that. He wasn't around during what had happened four years earlier. "You won't understand so don't worry about it." She told Darcy as she worked on regaining her composer.

Rachael decided to try to take direction of the flying objects. Actually try to make them go certain places instead of just anywhere they wanted. It wasn't easy to give pointless floating objects direction, especially not this many of them. She needed to find ways to trick herself into doing it. She found her powers seemed strongest when she didn't want them to be, that is why she got in trouble so often. So she would make up reasons not to use her powers and let them do their own thing. Most people thought this strange but until she was able to get a better handle on how to use her powers it had to do.

Rachael never did open her eyes when she talked to Darcy. The way she had to handle her powers while still learning was a dangerous thing. Closing her eyes to make up situations that could equal her powers kicking in meant it left her without knowledge of what was going on around her, a fatal mistake in battle. She trusted her team mates right now to take care of her while she tried this, but if she was on her own it would be bad. Rachael was creating a story in her head, in her story guards where shooting arrows down at an invading army. The objects under her control started to follow the pattern that an arrow would take when being shot. One at a time they arched up then came down towards Lone.

"Chill Plus." Said Jax. He was forcing a hostage down, "Good things come to those who wait." He was a little impatient himself.
"Well, people also say that those who wait are the ones who underachieve the most." Dani chimed in. "Just so you know, we're being watched since the police were taken out by us."
Payne, who had been brought out for the sole purpose of taking out the police, let out a short growl, and looked the camera above him, hanging from a lamp post. He whacked it, and it fell down, drawing attention to Jax for a short time. Jax turned back to Dani and asked, "Did you try to hack into the system?"
Dani shook her head, looking worried. "Too many locking systems. And instead of me hacking it, the system started hack me."
Jax let out a short whistle. Dani could hack into practically anything, due to her powers. If she can't bypass a system (and get hacked, over all impression, which did not seem possible), that means that whoever was watching them must be a powerful adversary. But they had come for OmegaTech, not some group watching from the safety of their cameras.
Payne let out another growl, this one sounding incoherent. Jax whirled on him about to snap an insult. He was sick of the waiting, and it seemed as though mocking Payne would be the best option. But before he could say what he had in mind, Jax noticed that Payne....was shivering.
Jax guffawed. What was this? A new extent of power? But then, Jax suddenly felt that the air in the city change. It felt...forbidding now...as if the city itself would come alive and try to force the invaders out.
"Uh Jax? There's some weird guy standing in front of us. And, by the looks of it, he doesn't seem to be from OmegaTech." Dani's voice broke Jax from his trance as he felt the aura of the city change. She sounded frightened. He turned and saw a boy, a little older than him.
Strangely enough, this person seemed to be the core of the forbidding aura. The boy wore a black sweater with a hoodie, and grey khakis. He had dark brunette hair, somewhat similar to Jax's own if he hadn't dyed it orange. The boy also wore....a mask. This mask added to the forbidding nature of the situation. The mask had the two faces, one emotionless, the other a monstrosity. For not more than 2 minutes, both Jax and the newcomer stared at each other. Strangely, Jax swore that he never met the person standing not more than 13 paces in front of his group, yet the person felt so familiar.
    "Who.....are you?" Jax asked.
No response was heard. A hard wind blew in, Jax being downwind of the sudden gust. Jax let out a "tsk". If the guy wasn't gonna talk, he would force him down.
"Payne. Sic 'im." Jax said.Payne let out a hesitant groan. He did not want to attack.
"Do it, damnit!" Jax ordered, more intense. Payne looked at Jax for a second, then let out a ferocious roar at the stranger, and charged, putting a smile on Jax's lips.
The stranger didn't even move as Payne rushed in, one of his bludgeons raised. There was a large crack, followed by the sound of spurting blood. Jax smiled.
Suddenly, Jax's smile dropped and his eyes widened.
There was a bluish-black, inhuman claw, tearing Payne's center. Payne instantly dissipated as the mist went back to Jax's nose. Silence then returned. Then, laughter. Hard, cold laugther, resounding from two voices, hard as gravel, coming from the newcomer. He reformed his hand, and it turned to normal, and said, "You still think this is going to be easy, squirt?"
Jax's morale had just dropped two notches.

6 figures now stood around the computers, watching one of their own breaking an order.
"F-ing Antiform..." Said the male in the angry mask. "He disobeyed a direct order from our very superior when he said that we need to watch the situation! He should've considered the risk!"
"I second the emotion." Said the male with the windy voice, "We were about to inform OmegaTech about this situation, when we just noticed that he disappeared."
"Well he did say something that he had a score to settle-" Put in the female with the screaming mask.
"That doesn't cut it." Interrupted the female in the armored mask. "Orders are orders."
    "Silence."
Everyone instantly shut up, looking at their leader.
"Even though Antiform broke a rule, our motive is still intact. Dealing with him is my responsiblity." Said the leader. He grabbed a phone from the desk in front of him, and motioned to the female in the armored mask. The female flipped a switch on one of the devices.

The phone suddenly rang. The doctor had been busy with paperwork, processing documents, testing on willing test subjects, the usual work. He picked up the phone tiredly and asked, "Hello?"
"Tenebris City is under attacked." Said a modified voice.
The doctor's eyes widened. He asked "By whom?"
"I think you're able to answer that."
Callistar went silent for a minute. The person on the other line continued.
"I want you to send your best teams to take these people out. When they arrive, I want your agents to tell my agent to return. He will know what to do from then on."
The line went dead as Callistar slumped down, putting the phone back on the receiver. A masked voice. The only person who used masked voices....it had to be them. He turned on the intercom of the entire OmegaTech facility and said:
"Attention all EnhancerMorphs! I need teams Sigma-B4 and Theta-D1 to report to the entrance of this facility ASAP. I repeat; I need teams Sigma-B4 and Theta-D1 to report to the entrance of this facility ASAP."

Malcolm watched the new player enter the game. 'Looks like Jaxie needs some help' Malcolm thought to his selves. 'Alright ten of me should be good enough. Ten go and give Jax some back up.' Malcolm mentally ordered. Ten of his clones rushed over to Jax and Dani. Malcolm dispersed the other ten clones, he wanted to keep his focus on the masked stranger.
The copies all formed a circle around the stranger and each had a pair laser pistols aimed at him. "So you the new sheriff in town?" They said in unison. "Come to clean out the outlaws? Your going to need am army friend, too bad for you I'm my own army." They smirked.

"Looks like there playing my song." Ryder got up and exited the Battle Hall. He was a little excited, they wouldn't have been called if it wasn't important. Ryder amped up and leaped towards the entrance. In a couple of bounds he was there. Ryder un-amped and stopped to catch his breath. Leaping like that was a little tiresome. "Sir what's all the hub-bub about?" Ryder asked.

Rachael was tired but relatively unharmed after the long battle, she didn't do all that much though. A few tricks of levitating but mostly distractions because exact movements where not something she could do yet. Out of breath she turned to her teammates. "I am sorry I can't be more help." She said feeling like she was dragging them down. Her stamina wasn't that good yet. It was probably due to her tenancy to try her best to avoid this class and she spent all her free time reading so it wasn't like she got that much excersize. It was amazing that she was as skinny as she was, she almost looked unhealthy skinny, but she never worked to burn calories off.

Just as she was preparing herself to try to do something remotely useful the speaker came on calling her quad down to the entrance of the school area. She felt extremely lucky to have been saved by the bell... or announcement as it was. She didn't know how much more of that she would have been able to take. She wasn't much of a fan of fighting at all. She was only here because she had no where else to go and she needed a place to learn her powers without being judged for them. But with the amount of accidents she had with them she felt judged anyways.

Rachael got out of the simulator and began to walk towards where they where to meet. She kept her head down and didn't speak to anyone. She didn't know what to think of this unexpected meeting. She couldn't tell from the announcement if it was going to be good or bad. At least it wasn't just about her getting in trouble because another squad was called down as well, which gave her the uncomfortable feeling that it was something bad, something she would prefer to have no part of but knew just by being here she would have to be a part of.

While Rachael had lifted the virtual ice, Darcy had provided extra support by blasting another series of ice rounds with a submachine gun he had formed. Jace watched as Lone went back onto the offensive, no longer analyzing the group of three in hopes of an advantage. Lone was not perturbed by Rachael's earliest attempt to get him, but he felt relieved that she didn't cut him. Capable of healing at an accelerated rate, Lone was still human enough to feel pain... and pain, though a useful tool, was something he had hoped to avoid. Lone used his previous tactic against the machine gun, using the floating debris Rachael lifted as cover. This was where he had misjudged the telekinetic's intelligence.

The debris began to flail wildly about, thrown about so randomly, he could not hope to judge the trajectory until the last minute. The chaos of this tactic threw a wrench into Lone's plans and he had to heighten his senses and abilities to their fullest. He began to get serious. The crashing of the debris forced him to dodge, to jump, and to kick off nearby debris. His superhuman abilities, fully peaked beyond the hopes of normal humans, allowed him to perform quasi-superhuman feats. He leaped higher and higher with trained acrobatics, avoiding the ground and mid-ranged assault.

However, he had forgotten about one crucial detail: Jace.

Jace had took advantage of the chaos caused by his comrades to end Lone. Accelerating the electric impulses within his own body, the Artificial Being vanished from his original post, the electromagnetic field gone and fully suppressed. However, it flared viciously in a whirwind as he reappeared, directly in the air behind Lone. With a thrust of his index finger, Jace landed a hit in between Lone's shoulders, dropping the super soldier like a rock... a convulsing rock made of flesh and bone and nerves. Lone writhed, unable to breathe, to speak... unable to control any proper bodily functions. Most of the tech in the VR room broke down from the unleashed electromagnetic energy, causing a small-scale pulse.

By the time Jace landed, staring coldly down at Lone, the announcement was made. Due to the swiftness of his incapacitation of Lone, Rachael already left without seeing the fruits of her own labor. Fortunately, the portals still worked... Jace shrugged away the familiarity of what he deemed normalcy, for he was slowly falling into his own darkness... another familiarity which he normally struggled against, but felt at home when it took over.

Jace lifted Lone by the neck. "I will take care of you later," he murmured, though his hand had subconsciously began to stiffen around Lone's neck. The electrical impulses were still coursing throughout his body, heightening his speed and strength. Everything around him was slow, if not stationary. "Weakling." Jace then threw Lone to the far side of the room, a primal rage filling him. But he quickly took control of that emotion and began to walk away, towards the portal.

    His collar cracked.

Red smiled at Elle, as innocent as he possibly could, ignoring the power outage. (Damn, they must be tearing it up!) "To be fair, it was not my fault that the room was too cold," he joked. Red then looked away again, staring out the window. "But still, this spells bad news..." Red sighed and lowed his head. "I was just hoping to live a normal life," he whined, almost child-like.

    ***Time Skip***

The intercom went off half-way through class, much to Red's glee. Callistar stated that teams Sigma-B4 and Theta-D1 needs to gather at the entrance of the facility. Red, with unadulterated enthusiasm, ran out of the class with uncanny speed... with accidental embers of flame.

Reaper ran about the city, creating other sorts of chaos. Not one to follow particular orders, he thought about luring interesting Enhancermorphs to him. Who knows, perhaps they were far tastier than the others. Reaper, true to his name, began to reap the innocent lives of those who lived in Tenebris City. They made for a tasty snack and he left a simple trail that would lead any of those to him. He even showed how little he thought of the law enforcement by throwing about their corpses in a half-eaten, half-dissolving pile. He cackled as he ran about Tenebris City as though it were his own playground.

(Sorry for taking so long. Issues!)
    (WARNING! MATURE CONTENT!)

    Antiform

The figure watched as Malcom divided himself. Forget a huge ego, this guy has multiple egos to clean up.
Antiform concentrated, closing his eyes. His shadow began to move in wavy shapes, like liquid, and began to stretch around the street, englufing the floor that the clones were standing on, blackening the pavement. Suddenly, part of it turned to a large spike, quickly spearing one of the clones. Another shadow-spear hit another clone. The process repeated again and again.

Soon, the street was drenched in the blood of thousands of the clones all at once. None had seem to touch the figure.
Antiform then turned his eyes back on Jax. That little copycat, using a creature of Antiform's making.
"Do you still think this is going to be easy?" Repeated Antiform. His shadow began to recede, but a huge mist had become to form in front of him. It began to take into the shape of.....Payne!

Jax let out another gasp as the figure before them create a monster the exact same way that Jax would usually do.
The figure's version of Payne had a dark bluish tint, and it looked more ravaged and scarred. It let out a deep roar.
Whoever this guy was, Jax did not like him. For the first time in Jax's life, he, for the very first time, was afraid.

    Darcy Tullepio, Elaine Vitrusio
    Time: 10:52 am
    Location: OmegaTech Entrance
    Mood: Nervous (Both)

Darcy made his way to the entrance, utilizing a mechanical skateboard. Most of the team was already there.
Jace, glaring angrily, probably think of Lone. Darcy was also feeling more drained than usual. He soon noticed that Jace's collar had shorted out.
    Rachel was timid as usual.
Elle was frowning upon a boy Darcy had never seen before. He must be the last guy in his battalion that had been absent. The boy looked somewhat playful and as he arrived, Darcy saw that the boy was leaving a trail of flames, leaving Elle sliding over the flames with her ice, smothering the embers as she went. Yet, Darcy thought he saw amusement Elle's cold eyes. He regarded them suspiciously, but then, Muscle, seemingly pumped, asked to Dr.Callistar, "Sir what's all the hub-bub about?"

Dr.Callistar, raised his hands to calm down everyone. He was drained and impatient, trying to ponder who had tipped off the current situation in Tenebris City.
"Tenebris City is being attacked by the Ut Mali." He said.
Darcy gaped. "Have the police been taken out?" He asked
"Pretty much. According to the little bird who spilled the beans, one of his agents are keeping this little attack group at bay. According to the newscast, this group is very disorganized, and doesnt seem to have official authorization to attack."
Elle became confused, "Who needs authorization to attack a metropolis?" She asked, somewhat suspcious, "More importantly, who is the person that tipped you off? An anonymous person in the police that survived?"
Callistar looked at Elle and said, "For the first question, The Ut Mali does need authorization to allow its Enhancermorphs to make a move. They may be genocidal, but they try to keep it under wraps. As for our canary, his voiced was masked and distorted."
Darcy let out a short laugh. "Sir, I have to argue. No one uses voice distortion anymore." That was technically true. If one had the money, they would be able to buy an accurate voice changer system. Most of those could even be sold for free in a local black market. It was rare to come a cross a voice distorter.
Dr. Callistar looked at Darcy with a serious look, causing Darcy to stop laughing and clear his throat. As Darcy stopped laughing, Dr. Callistar went on,
"Anyway, when you get to Tenebris City, I want you to locate the agent that's keeping this little riot group from doing much damage. Identify his powers as best that you can. Our bird told me that agent was with him. Madgecorp will drive you."
As soon as the name "Madgecorp" came out, the slick, white limo with black windows screeched to a halt in front of the two battalions. The driver window opened to reveal the car A.I.'s camera. The camera swiveled in Darcy's direction.
"Hey Darcy. Knock knock." Said the A.I. It was making a joke.
Darcy, who was standing closest to the door, asked "Who's there?"
    "The door!"
Before Darcy could comprehend what that meant, Madgecorp's door swung out and hit Darcy flat in the chest, knocking him over, but not injuring Darcy. Darcy stood up slowly, the wind knocked out of him. He heard the cars engine rumbling loudly, as if the A.I. was laughing. The rumbling stopped, and Madgecorp urged everyone, "Enough joking. I am detecting a high level of antimatter coming from the city. And it seems very unstable."
Dr. Callistar chimed in, "We don't have to send you reinforcements. I understand that Ulrich and Lone from Theta are absent. So is Poke from Sigma. Overall, you all will have to make do till the city's military reinforcements arrive. You all may go."

    Ryder 'Muscle' Sanders

"So what, these Ult Mali rejects are defecters or something? Or is this some kind message to us?" Ryder pondered. Well he knew that whatever the answer it really didn't matter. "I swear to god if these is some kind of giant cosmic chest game, I'm just going quit. I hate chest." Ryder muttered.
Ryder rolled his eyes at the AI's knock knock joke. "It's antimatter, when have you known that crap to be stable?" Ryder said. "Anyways, do we have any ID's on the Ult Mali team? I can't say I'm too comfortable with not knowing what we're getting into."

    Malcolm 'Plus' Johnson

Malcolm grunted when his clones died. He took a deep breath in and all of the clones gore disappeared. Malcolm calmly got into the skyscraper's elevator and pressed the button to get to the ground flour. He hummed along with the elevator music as he waited.
Malcolm walked out of the buliding as if nothing was wrong. He created 15 clones and he went to back to where the action is. "Alright you beautiful sons of bitches, he might kill some of you but he can't kill.....well he probably will kill all of you, but you are expendable." Malcolm said to his troops, of course they didn't say anything. The clones took out a pair of pistols and took aim at Payne.
Malcolm walked over to Jax. "So any ideas Jefe? This seems to be right up your alley." Malcolm said. "Or without knuckles over there can you even do anything?" Malcolm said in a mocking tone.

Rachael watched the rest arrive, a few of then showing off their powers. Including Elle, but that didn't bother much, it was good that most if the others had their powers under control. It would make things easier, and it made her want to figure out her powers faster so she could start being a help rather then a burden to them. She felt she could mess things up if she tried using her powers and if she didn't, she would just drag everyone down and not be worth being there.

As Dr. Callistar explains the situation Rachael felt her hands start to shake. She grabbed her hands trying hard to stop before anyone noticed. Her mind flashed to her days at the lab, before the escape. When they would do tests to try to give her the powers she had now. These same people where with the group they had to go do recon on. Rachael let out a small whimper as the memories flashed through her head, bit she wasn't going to let fear stop her from doing her mission.

Rachaels mood was lifted when Darcy fell to the ground. It was mean but funny at the same time. Slowly she climbed into the limo. She was scared and didn't want to hold anyone back but she refused to give up and hide. She definable didn't want to stay with Dr. Callistar, not after the amount she had been getting on trouble, that just sounded like a bad idea.

Able 'Porter' Sanchez & Cindy 'Lotus Eater' Samson

Cindy was walking back to her room when Able popped in before her. Cindy jumped a little bit until she realized it was Able. Cindy punched Able in the arm. "Damn, that hurt." Able said as he rubbed his shoulder. "I told you not to pop in on me like that! Need to put a bell around your neck or get a spray bottle like I did with my cat to get him to stop pouncing on me." Cindy said as she walked past him.
"Well?" Able asked as he followed behind her. "No." She said in a stern voice. "Oh come on something's going on! The prof wouldn't call in Sigma AND Theta unless it wasn't important." Able pleaded. Cindy rolled her eyes. "Look, face facts, he asked for the A-Teams, not the C-Team. We aren't front line material. We are more stealth and recon. And you're basically a pacifist!" Cindy argued. Able teleported in front of her. "I don't want to fight. I just want to help people. Lotus please. It couldn't hurt to ask if there's anything we can do to help, could it?" Able asked.
"Don't make me ask you in Spanish." Able said. Cindy rolled her eyes. "Fine, one to beam up you jerk." Cindy said as she held up her arm. "I owe you one." Able said. "Yeah, yeah, yeah just name you first born after me and we'll call it even." Cindy said. Able took her arm and they disappeared in a puff of yellow mist. They reappeared a few feet away from the limo everyone was piling into. Able adjusted the hoodie he was wearing and patted down his shirt. "Um, hey prof. I heard you needed Sigma and Theta, and I thought maybe you could use a little more help."

"C'mon, you ninny." Elle's voice went as Darcy watched her suddenly grab the fire boy by the ears, and drag him into the car. In truth, Elle knew that Red was not paying one bit of attention, so maybe a little bit of an "icy ear" might do the trick.
"Anyways, do we have any ID's on the Ult Mali team? I can't say I'm too comfortable with not knowing what we're getting into." Muscle asked Dr. Callistar.
"Yes actually," Dr. Callistar responded, "All of them used to be part of the First Enhancermorph project. They were either people with bad records and low self-esteem, or ex-convicts."
"Well, it doesn't sound like we have actual ID's do we?" Darcy asked.
Dr. Callistar looked a little sheepish, then muttered a little, "Not really. I wiped previous records for the sake that we forget our past roots. But that was before the Ut Mali rose."
Darcy just shrugged. "Fine. We'll just get new records. C'mon Muscle." He grabbed Muscle's arm and also dragged him inside the limo.
Outside, Darcy thought he heard a 'poof' and he heard new voices."Um, hey prof. I heard you needed Sigma and Theta, and I thought maybe you could use a little more help."
Dr. Callistar gave a slight smirk. "Yes we would. Madgecorp will brief you two on the way."
"We must leave." Madgecorp put in.

"So any ideas Jefe? This seems to be right up your alley. Or without knuckles over there can you even do anything?"
Jax thoughts were broken at the sound of Plus' voice. His face contorted into an angry glare, and looked straight at a nearby civilian. The civilian was hyperventilating, staring straight at Jax, sweating and crying profusely. Jax's eyes locked on the man's and Jax breathed out, releasing a cloud of dark mist, turning into a large creature, slightly taller than an average man. It's head was horribly deformed, and it held large, metal looking weapons, similar to tonfas.
At the sight of the creature, the civilians hyperventilation increased, and he was letting out short sobs, daftly afraid of the creature.
That was the root of Jax's powers. Just by being able to look into a person's fears, he could take those fears, and create something completely unimaginable.
"Just because my best monster got beat, doesn't mean that I can create more." Jax growled at Plus angrily, "So shut your trap, otherwise, I'll use YOUR fears."

Malcolm chuckled a little bit at Jax's threat. He does enjoy getting a rise out of people. "Now, now, blood pressure." Malcolm mocked. 'Alright boys follow our new deformed friends lead' Malcolm order to his selves. Malcolm glanced over at the whining civilian. "Please stop that. It's annoying." Malcolm said as he showed off his pistol to the civilian.

"Alright chill out Darcy." Ryder said as he was dragged into the limo. Able teleported himself and Cindy into the limo. "I could have walked you know?" Cindy said. "I know but this is more fun." Able replied. Able turned to Elaine "Ah Ms. Vitrusio, it's always a pleasure." Able said in his most charming tone. "Puedo decir, te ves tan hermosa como siempre." he said with a smile. Cindy rolled her eyes.
Able turned to Darcy. "Darcy was it? Was your parents geologists or something?" Able asked. Both Ryder and Cindy had a confused look. "A Darcy is a unit in geology, it measures the ability of fluids to flow through rock." Able explained. Ryder and Cindy still had a confused look. "Really?"
