"So have I." Jax replied, "I dunno if you'd noticed but we've been on the welcoming break for too long. I say we attack OmegaTech. I don't care what Sherman says, if I can't attack OmegaTech soon, then I draw blood from somewhere else.."
Payne uttered a mechanical growl to emphasize the point. All the Enhancermorphs at the Ut Mali were confined to the base to hone their skills. But they never attacked.
"I'm gonna need the skills of you and your Quad members. Me and Payne planned the we attack Tenebris Cove, the nearby city. That'll get the attention. Maybe we could rob a bank or something. What do you think? You and the boys up for it?"

"Ah, well if it isn't the Newblood!" Jace exclaimed, causing Darcy's heady to turn. "It seems as though we're in the same class."
"Guess so." Darcy replied. Again, he suddenly felt drained, even more so than usual. Were his powers expanding? He suddenly locked his eyes on the Jace's neck collar he wore. It let out a fizz. He looked away quickly and said, "So! Hopefully we get to gauge each other's skills. Its a hobby of mine to know who I'm up against." He reached into a backpack he was carrying and pulled out a metal slab. It instantly reformed into a ball, ready to form at a moments notice.
"Ah...I see someone came prepared." Dr. Shankman said suddenly, "Since Darcy volunteered by summoning his weapon, I would think now is the good time to start the lesson. Ultimachinox, if you please come here?"
Darcy grimaced. He had to take a metal slab out, didn't he? It wasn't his fault that with out metal, he was defenseless! And it was Dr. Callistar's idea to bring a metall slab with him at all times, as specified on a message sent yesterday. He walked up and stood next to Dr. Shankman, looking at the others.
"Now," Dr. Shankman continued, "Who will face Darcy this time?"

Elaine wasn't really happy. She'd been woken up too early just to receive a message that Rachel had gotten in trouble....again..
Sometimes, Rachel tended to be a liability socially, since she could read everyone's thoughts. But hitting a guy over the head?? Come on! She was better than that. Elle knew she had to talk to her. Thankfully, it wasn't Elle's place to scold anyone. Not in the morning.
One of the few reliefs that Rachel could get was that she was never punished. Why? Elle never saw a reason. She had known Rachel since they were young, and it wasn't hard to recognize a socially awkward person. No, scolding would only bend her inside out.

She arrived at class on time and found Rachel sitting at the farthest corner. She took a seat. She was also early.
"So." Elle started. "You got in trouble. Tell me what happened. No details left out, and then I'll break the ice."

    No pun intended there.

    ~Jace & Lone~
Jace smiled weakly at Darcy's proclamation, shaking his head. Before he could speak, however, Dr. Shankman announced the beginning of class via duel. Jace laughed nervously. "I'm sorry, Dr. Shankman, but may I just sit in for class today? I'm in no condition to fight as I am right now." He said, backing away. Jace looked back to Darcy. He had always noticed that the boy seemed eerily drained when he was close, and he was not oblivious to the short-circuiting of his own collar. Did Darcy's power rely on some form of electricity? He wondered, genuinely curious about the boy's fatigue. The electromagnetic enhancermorph shrugged it off, thinking it was more crucial to see how weak Darcy was in his own presence. He did not want to be the boy's reason for dying.
Lone felt unnecessarily irritable today. Something didn't feel right. Then again, nothing ever did. He felt more irritated when he saw Jace and Darcy from the shadows of the room, talking as though they were great friends. It annoyed him to no end. When Dr. Shankman spoke up about beginning the class with training, he took note of Jace's resistance and snorted. How could such a weakling be in Combat Training? The battlefield was meant for the hardened and the triumphant, not for soft-hearted albinos wearing a collar as though he were a pet. Lone walked out of the shadows, finding the will to partake in today's session... much to his own relief, for in a fight he felt free to let loose.
"Dr. Shankman..." Lone said aloud, his voice a deep basso reminiscent of a void or abyss. "I'll take on the new kid." As he got closer, he let his heavily tensed shoulders, and overall limbs, relax. His battle stance was one of Jeet Kune Do, his feet doing circling, bouncing steps. "I've been rather bored lately, if you know what I mean, Doc." Lone mocked, eyes completely locked onto Darcy.
I'll show these kids that this is no place for weaklings... he thought to himself, eyes aglow with primal rage.
    ~Reaper~
Reaper clung to the ceiling above Jax and his conspirators, listening in on the conversation. Oh how his dear leader amused him, wanting to hunt all the good prey. Why, if he weren't an asexual creature, he would have taken Jax to dinner, brought him to his house, and do many, many things that would turn heads... oh, and eat him, but he could still do that. However, Jax has proven to be an apex predator, and one worthy of respect... or at least kept alive until weakened. Reaper kept his urges under control, finding the information far more interesting than giving into his hunger and his incredible habit. He listened as Jax laid out a ground plan to the Quad.

Misdirecting the goody-goodies to attack them? A good move... Reaper thought, genuinely impressed by Jax. Not to say that he wouldn't have done the same thing, but Jax was proving to be quite the predator. Reaper found himself somewhat at odds with himself. On one hand, he really, really wanted to eat Jax. On the other, he would miss him dearly if he ever showed weakness. The daemonic enhancermorph continued to listen in. Perhaps he could join in on the fun, whether by directly confronting Jax... or following him. Either way, he would get to sate his desire to spill more blood...

Rachael kept her head down when Elle came into the room. She didn't make a sound, she didn't want to be noticed. Not by Elle, not by anyone. Despite her efforts Elle st ill saw her and sat next to her, not like that was surprising but she hoped she wouldn't. She preferred to avoid the entire topic of the day before. She generally wasn't a bad person, nor did she get in trouble often. She usually managed to stay out of the way and not bring attention to herself. She liked it that way, but it was a bad day for her. That was all.

"Well... you see... um." Rachael stammered not knowing where to start. "Well I had a bad dream the other night and woke up late so I was late for class. I didn't even eat breakfast, I really tried to get there on time. I promise." Rachael pleaded, she was starting to sound like the little girl which in reality she was. She was only 14, but didn't act like it most of the time. "And then before we started practical stuff a boy was making fun of me and tried to steal my book so..." She paused even though Elle knew what was coming. "So... I hit him over the head with it." Rachael didn't want to continue with what happened next, it was quite embarrassing but Elle wanted to know everything. Nothing left out.

Rachael rubbed the back of her neck before continuing. "During the practical part of class I messed up and people started to laugh and say mean stuff about me... but they weren't actually saying anything, I was accidentally reading their minds. And well.... I kinda threatened the entire class." She said lowering her head in shame. She felt bad about that part. "I-I just didn't know what to do, so many voices in my head at once... It was too confusing. I had to fight the urge just to run out of class right there." Rachael finished explaining. You could hear in her voice she was upset. "I am sorry Elle I didn't mean to get in trouble." She said. She didn't once look up from her desk, nor did she show much emotion on her face even though it could be heard in her voice. She didn't want the rest of the class to know she was upset.

"Oh? Attack on OmegaTech by luring them to Tenebris City?" He thought about it for a moment. He had a point, they were inactive for too long now. It was time to make an offense on the opposing team. The questions were just where and how. Then, Jax brought up this idea. An idea that could kill, if not then hopefully injure some of the other team. He looked back at his three brothers, who all nodded, some grinning. Looking back at Jax, he nodded. "We'll do it..."

"Gaaah...." He groaned as he stepped out of the V.R pod. He placed a hand on his head, and he gave a quick sigh. "Well...Didn't exactly help a lot..." He shook his head, then he heard the voice of his robotic helper. "Poke, I am detecting rather unusual high levels of stress. Your performance in V.R has dropped quite a lot. Is something the matter?" "..." He didn't respond for a few seconds, then sighed once more. "Well, something's the matter, alright, but I just hope it isn't as bad as it feels."

Stepping out of the room, he made his way to the plaza. Once he was there, he groaned and lied down on a bench facing upwards. He closed his eyes, and attempted to calm down numerous times, but he always failed. So he just sat there and let things be as he watched clouds slowly drift through the sky. "What is wrong with me..."

Jax smiled evilly. This was simply perfect. All they need is to drag them out. It'll be-
Payne let out a short croning. Jax looked up to find Reaper upside down, apparently eavesdropping. There was also someone else, but Jax couldn't pick out who..unless.
"Ok, stowaways, enough nosiness. Both of you come down here." Jax said.
Immediately, a great smoke, crackling with electricity, floated downward and formed into a girl."How'd you manage to pick me out?" Asked Dani. She was the Covert Ops expert.
"I've been around these guys long enough to pick out an energy signature." Jax said, pointing to the Quads, "As for Reaper...I felt his drool drop on my shoulder. SInce you guys dropped in, I would like you guys to join in this, so as long as you don't squeal. Whaddaya say?"
"I'd love that. I haven't been able to do something since I joined. Although I've known Reaper sneak out time and again." Dani replied, stretching her limbs.
"Great. But I you tell Sherman, Payne will shut you up."

"Very well then." Dr. Shankman said. Darcy immediately got into a fighting position. He instantly knew this guy was different. After he fought Banshee, nobody as big as a status as her would fight Darcy. This guy must be in a bigger league.
"Setting up virtual reality.." Dr. Shankman said. The environment changed around the two challengers. Materializing into a large ice biome, a large chill blew through the area, causing Darcy to shiver. He refocused on his enemy with a shear force of determination. He threw his metallic ball into the air as it reformed into a large spear, with a serrated edges. He spun it, pointing it at Lone.
    "Lets demonstrate." Darcy said.

Elaine let out a short sigh as she listened to what Rachel had to say and paying attention to the daily warm-up.
"Rachel." Elle started, "I'm not gonna punish you. I don't have the patience right now." She looked at her before continuing. "If I had $20 dollars for every time you mess up, I would have $160 dollars for this particular month. To be honest, I'm actually sick of having the trouble of punishing you. So, instead, I am going to do something else."
"Ms. Vitrusio, are you listening to me?"
Elle turned a lazy eye on the teacher. "Why do you need to even ask?"
"If you can answer my question on what makes your powers manifest throught the Alyx-314, I'll let you off the chance that you're going to have detention" Replied the bot. It was talking about the mixture that gave Enhancermorphs their powers. Too easy.
"I'll only answer it if you let Rachel change classes. As one of my battalion, I'm in charge of disciplining her on disclosed issues. She's do for Battle Training."
"Very well, you have my authorization. Rachel, go to Battle Training please."
An escort bot went over to Rachel's desk, waiting for her to get going.
"Now, as for the answer..." Elle said, "The Alyx-314 is a mixture that reacts with our blood, our Nervous System, and our Fight-or-flight system. It modifies our DNA based on what the injection has equipped. For example, if I were inject fire powers, I would have a natural resistance to flames and fire-related metals.
"But how do they manifest? Can you tell?"
"Depends on the individual, whether born or artificial." Elle started, "The most common ways are for the patient to be faced with a life-or-death situation, a survivor dilemma, as I would call it, because our adrenaline speeds up the bonding process. Others gain their powers through dormancy. This method is much quieter, but more efficient, as people who gained powers through this method have better chance of being able to hold out longer. However, the dormancy method is rarely seen among Artifical Enhancermorphs, as their power comes almost instantly. The bonding process for them have a 55.7% chance of corrupting the genetic code."

The robot was silent for another moment or two, then said "Correct on all accounts. Now, let us get into what the mixture is made of."

    ~Jace & Lone~
Lone was cool-headed enough to acknowledge the change in scenery due to the virtual reality, and noticed Darcy's ability to tamper with metal. The Enhancermorph also took note of Darcy's shudder in the chill wind. Lone, however, took the cold stoically. Even when Darcy spoke, Lone charged in, faster than even the best human sprint runner; however, it was still too slow for any high-speed runner in the Enhancermorph community. "You shouldn't be cocky," Lone murmured, slapping his wrist beneath the spear as he closed the distance, pivoting his foot into a spin as he raised his other leg to perform a devastating roundhouse kick, aiming for Darcy's kidney.

Jace groaned when Lone volunteered, knowing how destructive he was. "Be careful, Darcy!" Jace shouted. Taking the opportunity, Jace wandered over to Dr. Shankman. "Doctor..." he began, keeping his voice low. "I think we should talk about my predicament." Jace looked over to the ice dome that surrounded Darcy and Lone. "My collar has been shorting out. Is it possible you and your friends here to make me a new one?" He asked, attempting to keep his electromagnetic field from shorting out the hardware that was placed in the room. "It's getting harder and harder to suppress my electromagnetic field, and it may become a liability."

    ~Reaper~
Reaper dropped from the ceiling, landing on all fours as he stared at Jax and his monstrosity. "Ah, I apologize," Reaper began, his tone sardonic. His voice was very alien, very suave. It was the kind of voice that made you think of nails on a chalkboard. "It's very hard for me to control my hunger, you see..." he then turned and glared at Dani. "And just because I leave this God forsaken building to sate my appetite doesn't mean anything, girl!" He growled. He turned back to Jax. "I'd love to join you... and your secret is safe with me. Forever and always." He vowed, chortling.
    "When do we start?"
    ~Red~
Red sat in Biology and Chemistry, bored out of his mind. He could never grasp anything that was being taught in this class, and would much rather be doing something else. His leader, Elle, was only a couple of seats away from him, chatting to another one of his teammates, Rachael. He listened to them more than the robot teaching the class, intrigued. He had missed class the past couple days, stuck in bed sick. What surprised him was Elle's alternate means of punishment... which was more like a mercy than anything else. Rachael was moved to a different class, a place he found her to be more tactical and altogether: Combat Training. He smiled at that.
He then heard the question the robot asked towards Elle, and let out a whistle when she answered the question flawlessly. Red was quite impressed. "Man, you are good," he whispered to himself, turning his gaze to the window. "What I wouldn't give to be out there right now..." he grumbled as an afterthought, drifting away to a faraway place where Biology and Chemistry didn't matter.

Rachael politely listened to Elaine talk to her. She didn't care to pay attention to class anyways although this alternative wasn't much better. It wasn't like she tried to get in trouble. She wasn't a rebellious person, nor did she look for it for thrills or kicks. It just seemed to always find her. Plus the fact that she could read minds didn't really help. She had trouble controlling when she did it and never responded well when it wasn't intentional. The only thing that constantly was her problem was her attitudes about the bots. She didn't like that robot where there to take charge at some points. If someone was to tell her what to do it would have to be a human or else she never really listened.

In this case Rachael followed the bots but mostly because Elle instructed them to escort her to another class so she had to listen to Elle. This was almost gracious to just make her go to another class, but Rachael didn't know if it was better to be punished by Elle or go to Combat training. She didn't like the class at all and entering part way in escorted by a bot would be embarrassing. But what could she do. Rachael collected her possessions and stood up to follow the bot out.

Rachael slowed her pace as she drew near to the combat training room. She took a deep breath and kept her head down as she slowly pushed the door open. It looked like the class had already started and was part way through. There was a battle between the new kid and someone else already started. Rachael found a place along the wall and sat down to watch for now trying not to disrupt the class.

"We start right now. To the Launch Bay!" Jax said, leading the others. They walked through the dark and dimly lit hallways of the HQ, finally coming to a garage center. Jax and Payne crouched behind one of the vehicles. There were 6 human guards, watching for intruders, and 4 surveillance cameras. One would consider them stuck, but thats where things get interesting.
"Alright." Jax whispered, "6 human guards, 4 cameras, one SUV waiting for us to drive." He turned to Dani. "Short out the cameras first. This will prevent proof of blame, and we can make a clean getaway."
"I'm already on it." Dani replied, glowing with a greenish, cybernetic aura. A second later, the cameras exploded.
"Reaper, I need you and Payne to take out those guards." Jax said, "They're expendable, and our boss has no problem replacing them. Make sure they're dead or eaten. Sound good for an early snack?" He then turned back to Dani. "Get in the SUV and start driving. Let's see how good you are at tech, shall we?"
Dani smiled before turning into a green electric cloud, and zoomed to the SUV's motor. The vehicle coughed, then started.
    "EVERYONE MOVE!!"

Darcy felt the blow, stunned for a second. He then spun counter-clockwise and slapped Lone in the chest with the blunt end of his spear, knocking Lone back a few feet. Darcy immediately knew that the guy was fast, too fast for Darcy to keep up. Thus, Darcy needed distance, and he was going to keep that distance. Darcy morphed his weapon, turning it to a trowel, quickly shoving it to the digital ice. As he gathered the ice, it morphed into a machine gun, splitting the ice into ammunition. Darcy fired, spraying bullets around the field.

"I see." Doctor Shankman said. He thought carefully, then said, "I will need you to stay after class to fix it. The tricky part is that we don't know whether you're powers are harming you or others around you, or the fact that you mutating. If the latter, Callistar would need to place cautionary measures."
His vision turned back to the fighters. He said over the intercom, "Play nice! This is a training class, not a One on One! Although your environment is virtual, it mimics the concept of an actual fight area, so you could still get seriously injured."

    ~Lone~
Lone slid back from the blunt-force of the spear, his footing phenomenal. There wasn't much pain from the blow, only a mild sting. Lone bore it with stoicism, knowing it would have been worse were it the actual spear itself. When he finally managed to halt the slide, Lone saw that the newbie created a machine gun, using the digital-ice of the VR as a source of ammunition. Lone, thinking quickly, took off his leather jacket, revealing his bare torso, and ran. Lone chose to go with the current of ice bullets, knowing full and well that Darcy would eventually catch up to him. All the while, running in that circle, he began to close it. By the time the bullets met up with Lone, Lone went against the current, leaping and using his jacket as a shield. Bullets grazed him, but the major ones were deflected. Falling into a roll, Lone leaped up and charged the opposite way, performing another circle, semi-circle... or a quasi-circle. He continued to close the distance, performing the same maneuver and leaping over the arc of bullets.

Eventually, Lone closed the distance and charged forward. Before the hail of bullets could start anew, Lone threw his jacket at Darcy, severing the boy's scope of vision, and then threw himself toward the forward-right. Falling into a roll, he cut the distance further, and once he felt his feet beneath his body, Lone lifted himself into a crouch as he threw a powerful punch towards the boy's solar plexus.
    ~Jace~
Jace nodded to Doctor Shankman, his expression relieved. "Thank you, Dr Shankman," the electromagnetic enhancermorph began. Before he could speak again, however, he heard Dr Shankman's analysis of the fight. Jace turned to watch and groaned. "They're going to kill each other..." he lamented, looking off to the side. "If Lone weren't such a hot-head, and if Darcy had more experience, I think this training session wouldn't be too hard to watch." Jace continued to watch the fight, however, and noticed Lone's strategy. Despite being a hot-headed individual, he proved to be quite knowledgeable of battle. In particular, he took great note of how Lone noticed the spray-and-fire method. It was a great strategy against naive, hand-to-hand fighters... but this was Lone, and Lone was very perceptible. "Darcy..." he groaned. "You should have done something better than a gun. Stick to what you know and don't rely on luck." Jace continued to watch, to see what would unfold from the fight.

    ~Reaper~
Reaper smiled with glee after being provided with the orders. "Time to eat..." he growled, fading into the shadows within the bay. Though Reaper had no particular powers, he was capable of moving swiftly and stealthily. He climbed the walls and ceilings, using his extra appendages to their utmost potential. As he climbed within the shadows on the walls, Reaper leaped out and snatched a human-guard, only to vanish. The guard that had been stolen was unable to cry out. Reaper bounded out again and snatched another guard, silently and always scurrying into the shadows with the soon-to-be-corpse. This guard also did not cry out. Reaper mixed up his hunting strategy and took to the ceiling, using the powerful tail of his to help him close the distance from up high, allowing him to dangle above a third guard. Though not very close to the ground, Reaper used his long, slimy, acidic tongue to wrap around the third guard's neck. The man could not cry out, for either he was truly suffocating from the strength of the tongue, or the acid was burning away all the muscles and bones that allowed a human to utter any vocals. Regardless, Reaper used his tail to lift himself back up... with an extra meal.

He heard a strange noise, and looked up to find an eavesdropping Reaper. Then, Dani the ops expert had appeared, and then Payne. Jax always had a knack for picking out hiders. It made him smirk as they now all had even more people with their little operation. That meant more chaos to cause, and that was all the better for the Quads. It was like they fed on chaos.

Once they reached the launch bay, they stood back, watching as the rest of their squad worked together in unison and easily claimed the SUV. Some grunted impatiently, wanting to get in on some action, but none were left as they were either dead or eaten. Hopefully they'd get more than just six people to screw around with once they reached the city. They quickly made their way to the SUV, getting to stretch their legs, and once inside they all waited, some starting to get angry from the lack of action, as they made their way to Tenebris Cove.

"Got. Damn it." Nothing was making him happy. All he did was bang his own head against the tree. Perhaps it was time to head back to his room. And so he did, feeling sleepy along the way even though it wasn't that long when he woke up. Once he finally reached his room, where his comfy inviting bed was, he instantly plopped down, and in only a few seconds, he had fallen asleep. He hoped that he would feel better when he woke up, otherwise he would be having a terrible day...Maybe a terrible week.

Malcolm entered the launch bay after everything was said and done. He was just passing by when he heard some ruckus. He hid behind a corner and peaked in to see what was going on. It looked like his teammates were ether bored and killing for no reason or they were having a jailbreak. "Oh what fun." Malcolm muttered to himself.
"So Jefe where ya' going?" Malcolm said as he came from the corner. "For ice cream?" Another Malcolm said as he came from the same corner. "Your taking the creepy snake man and not me?" A third said. "Got room for four more?" a fourth asked. "Maybe five?" "Or six?" two more said. Then they all just disappeared in thin air, and the real one came from the corner. You could tell he was the real one, he has a certain arrogant-******* swagger to him. "So where are you bunch of psychos going?" the real one asked.

    Ryder 'Muscle' Sanders

Ryder over slept and was late for class. Which is unusual for him. He came in class and tried to make the least amount of noise and sat in the very back. It was Darcy going up against Lone, a pretty tough opponent even for Muscle. Keeping at distance seems like a good idea. If it were him he would use slower more accurate attacks, picking his shots carefully. Slow and steady wins the race. Or at least in his experience.
Ryder looked around the stadium. Ult Mati was still on his mind. They were informed about them awhile ago and they still haven't had any missions against them. In fact they haven't even seen one of them. He wondered how much info the Prof had on them, how many they had under their banner, and how well equipped they are. The only real fight most people here had was during that liberating riot so many years ago. Every thing else has been in training.

Jax was in the passenger seat, being navigator. No one was in the driver's seat but The gas pedal was revving on its own. It seemed that Dani has become the car itself. Fascinating.
"So Jefe where ya' going?" Came a voice full of anarchy. Jax turned to find Malcom Johnson, AKA Plus. A narcissistic guy.
Your taking the creepy snake man and not me?" He asked.
"Yes Plus, but I didn't really have much options. Either he comes with, or he could've been assigned to hunt me down later." Responded Jax.
"Got room for four more?" Jax groaned. Malcom had split into four of himself. "Look, I don't have time for thi-" Jax began.
"Maybe five? Or six?" Malcom interrupted, splitting himself into 2 more versions of himself.
They suddenly disappear, and the real Malcom rounded the corner. "So where are you bunch of psychos going?"
Jax was seriously considering now to ask Reaper to eat Plus, when suddenly a new voice came. "Hey you! You in the car!"

One of the soldiers had managed to escape both Payne and Reaper, and was pointing a gun at Jax. The gun clicked.
"You know what, I think we might have 20 extra seats for your entire ass, Plus!" Jax said. With that, he grabbed Plus, and dragged him through the window of the car. Shots fired on the car, bullets ricocheting.
"Dani, drive right now!" Jax shouted. The car responded with the car tires burning the pavement, revving hard. He willed Payne to inform Reaper that they were leaving.
Payne immediately growled to Reaper, "You....must leave..." And with that, Payne turned into a huge cloud of smoke and ash, flowing in the air, and making a break for the leaving car. The cloud entered Jax's ear.
    Success..

Darcy was at first blinded by the jacket. As he threw it out of the way only to fell the hard punch in his stomach. he stiffened and coughed. That hurt. Darcy took a deep breath as he willed his gun to turn to a strange-looking shotgun. Before Lone could throw another blow, Darcy fired at him. But instead of firing ice, it came out as a thunderclap. Lone and Darcy were thrown 16 feet away from each other, Lone hitting a nearby Ice pillar. Darcy regaining his footing, and fired his weapon again, this time behind him. The recoil was strong enough to make him fly at Lone. The gun changed to a large chain, as Darcy rat-tailed Lone as he landed, and then break-rolled behind the the pillar Lone had crashed into without tangling himself.
"Get ova here!!" Darcy shouted, as he threw his chain again. It wrapped itself around both the pillar and Lone. Darcy yanked the chain, and it broke the pillar causing it to fly at him. Darcy reformed his chain back as he watched the pillar crash out into the distance. But he knew Lone wouldn't be dead.

Darcy's strategy had now changed from getting away from Lone, keeping distance. This time, thanks to Darcy analyzing his opponents speed and strength, Darcy firing his reformed Sonic Scattergun would be able to measure up to Lone's statistics. It would be a stalemate every time.

"Utilizing gravity as well as kinetic energy to attack." Murmured Dr. Shankman looking at the fight. He turned to his class, "As you may know, Lone's body is completely augmented to peak status. He has no superpowers to speak, but is way faster and stronger than the average human, which would make him a supersoldier, if you want to be nice about it.
However, Darcy is able to polymorph metal at will, ranging from guns to melee weapons. It also allows him to create weapons from his imagination, including the Scattergun he used. Even though none of the two weapons are able to injure Lone fatally, they do force him to change tactics if he sees fit."

    ~Lone~
Lone was used to being thrown around, but he still didn't enjoy it. He felt the concussive pains caused by the thunderclap, something that never sat well with anyone. After hitting the pillar, he vomited some blood but he knew it was survivable. When Darcy had him chained to the pillar, he immediately relaxed his body, knowing full and well that he could be able to avoid any troublesome damage; especially when Darcy tore apart the ice pillar and threw him. As he flew out into the distance, Lone rode the pillar until it crashed. He coughed and arose, the ice particles forming dust all around him. The wounds he had suffered were quite deep, but they began to heal immediately. There were no longer any cuts visible, not even scars to tell the story of what had happened to him. Bare-chested, Lone stared towards the general direction of Darcy.
"Distance... that's fine, then..." he muttered, grabbing the largest of the debris to start with. He threw it towards Darcy, though it came up short. He continued to grab and throw debris, creating more ice particles to rise in the VR ice arena. Eventually, he ran out of large debris and grabbed smaller shards of ice. For good measure, he made sure to remember where the other pieces of the ice pillar had fallen when he threw them.
"Good enough," he muttered. Lone charged towards Darcy, shards of ice in his hand. Knowing Darcy would use the Scattergun again, for it was far more effective against him, Lone broke away from a straight path and began to circle around Darcy at a decent distance. As swiftly and as deftly as any practitioner of throwing weapons, Lone began to systematically throw the ice shards; whether they managed to hit or not didn't matter to Lone.
All he needed was an opening...
    ~Jace~
Jace watched the fight more intently and smiled. He noted that Darcy was giving Lone a hard time... or perhaps Lone was just toying with Darcy. Either way, it didn't matter. The training may end in a stalemate, mostly due to Lone's stubbornness to give up and die. Jace felt slightly tempted to disrupt the VR system that was installed into the room, to see if Lone would still be able to out-match Darcy; or vice-versa. Jace turned to Dr Shankman as he spoke. "Even though Darcy is innovative," he began, eyes alight. "He still seems to lack the experience to take on a Supersoldier of this caliber, what with the accelerated healing factor and the inability to tire. Darcy may actually have a limit... Lone does not." Jace explained, watching onwards.
"I hope Darcy understands that this man is to be reckoned with," Jace muttered, mildly concerned for the colleague. Jace watched, seeing Lone's change in strategy. The ice particles in the simulation gave Jace an idea of what Lone's plans were, and he shuddered. "If it were me..." he whispered. "I would have immobilized him at the very beginning." Jace knew that ice, alone, would have given him an edge against Lone. But, not everyone had the power to create a taser. Not to mention the millions of dollars that would be needed to repair the VR simulator.
    ~Reaper~
Reaper smiled when Pain advised him to get to the car. "One more snack for the road..." Reaper purred, striking at the man's throat with his sharp talons. The man fell and Reaper, being the monster that he was, thrust his hand into the man's chest and grabbed his heart. Placing it into his mouth, Reaper bounded for the car, leaping atop of the moving vehicle. Reaper finished his meal and began to crawl into it through the windows. After all, there was no fun in it if the enemy sees him before the party began...

Rachael stayed quiet in the corner. It seemed that no one had even noticed her enter the room. Most still doing there own thing or watching the fight intensely. She herself could care less about the fight. She would rather be reading but due to initially having class with Elle she had left her book in her room. Someone came into class after her, Ryder. This surprised her because when she got there it was already almost 45 minutes into class. And she was actually on time to her one class, just got transferred.

"Thanks a lot Elle." Rachael whispered feeling rather uncomfortable. The battle hall wasn't a place for her. She didn't know what Elle thought she would learn being here. If she remained under the radar she didn't actually have to do anything. If she didn't do anything how would she learn anything. Not like she needed to be taught a lesson, she didn't go out of her way to find trouble. She could if she wanted to but she didn't like getting in trouble. It was something no one seemed to understand, they all thought she wanted trouble or something.

Rachael decided to escape the class by letting her mind wander, she would create a story in her own head to keep herself distracted for now. She used the class room as a base for her story. As she went through and rearranged things in her head so it would look like she imagined the backdrop to her story looking like various things in the room started to float and move. It was a minute before she realized what she was doing. She only did when she nearly hit Dr. Shankman. with a chair. She stopped right away letting everything that was suspended in air to drop to the floor. Rachael started to blush. "Sorry..." She said quietly.

Jace heard the chair, and most other things, hit the floor near him and Dr Shankman. He quickly turned to see what was going on, only to see Rachael in the corner. He never really talked to her and knew very little about her. She was a shy young lady who didn't quite have the same classes as him (he skipped most of them to be alone), but he seen her often; even in the background. "Well, hello," Jace said cheerily, walking towards her. "You must be new to this class... in a manner of speaking..." he began, awkwardly, his smile bright. He looked around for a moment, attempting to find something to converse about. An idea clicked in his head. "So, the thing with the chair," Jace continued, looking at the chair near Dr Shankman. "Did you have a problem with it? Perhaps it tried to mug you in the alleyway?" He asked jokingly, keeping a distance.
Jace felt intrigued by the young woman, by her power. He didn't want to assume what it was, though he was quite sure he knew. Rachael wasn't quite as odd to him as to most people, mostly due to her being quiet. He understood why. She wanted to be left alone, just like how he wanted to be left alone... but the loneliness was quite suffocating, and he knew she needed a friend to keep her comfortable in this class... or the chair might have another go whirling in the air; perhaps even bent, broken, or completely out the window in another country. Though he smiled at her, his eyes were gentle with empathy.

Rachael felt quite embarrassed as some of the class turned to look at her trying to figure out what was going on with the floating objects. She had not got her powers under control yet. Three years and she was just starting to learn to use them, still not able to control them. She never asked for them in the first place and didn't like them. She had just started to accept them, not because she wanted to but because she had to. She couldn't get rid of them or forget them and without proper training they would only get in the way and make her a freak in the real world.

A boy in the class started to approach her, talk to her even. He didn't seem mad at her or have any ill intent but she was still nervous. "I guess you could say new..." She said quietly. "Elaine sent me here out of biology and made me come here... as a punishment for what happened yesterday...." She explained. He continued to make a joke about her almost hitting the teacher with the chair. It made her angry, and even more embarrassed. "N-no of course not. I didn't mean to. I was just distracted with something in my mind and didn't realize what I was doing." She knew this was no excuse for her behavior. She even questioned how believable her explanation was but didn't really care.

"I don't belong here in this class so the sooner it is over the better." Rachael said quickly dismissing the boy. There was no reason for this almost hostile attitude towards him but there was no taking it back now. She preferred to be alone where she could day dream. She would try to control her powers a bit better this time. Avoid another scene. She was scared she would get in trouble with the teacher again today and they would tell Elle. Rachael turned her eyes to the ground and stayed silent for now.

    Ryder 'Muscle' Sanders

When everything was floating caught Ryder a little off guard. He looked around the stands and saw Rachael. Well it made sense now, she always did have trouble with her powers. Ryder sympathized with her. Although he does have control over his powers for the most part, if his heart rate goes up so high he will amp uncontrollably. Which is why he is usually so calm most of the time.
Ryder went over to Jace and Rachael. "Everything ok Rachael?" Ryder asked. He normally doesn't see her have this much trouble with her powers, well sure she would accidently read somebodies mind but never like this. Or at least that he's seen. "Darcy's doing pretty good huh? If it were me I would keep that shotgun thing out. It packs quite the kick." Ryder commented on the ongoing fight. "And I would probably aim more for the ground too. Make it harder for Lone to get to me." Ryder added.

    Malcolm 'Plus' Johnson

"Hey, hey, hey be gentle!" Malcolm yelled as Jax pulled him into the SUV. Dani quickly drove off. Payne returned to Jax by turning into smoke and going through his ear. Ok. And Reaper climbed in from on top the vehicle. "Have I ever told you that your powers creep me out?" Malcolm said as he crawled into the back seat. "So, where are we going? I'd like to think your smarter then to steal from the big boss for something as simple as a donut run, Jax." Malcolm commented. "So what is it? Viking rape quest? No, no, no. You said something about if Scales here didn't come he would hunt you down. So it must be something the boss won't approve of." Malcolm guessed.

    DAY 5 EXTENDED!

"Correct" Jax responded with a smile. "We are doing a welcoming party to OmegaTech at Tenebris City. And you could help with some of the party gifts, invite some guests and set up some decorations." Jax meant robbing a bank, kidnapping some civilians, and planning traps. According to his plan, he would hold those so called 'reservations' at the heart of the city. As soon as his enemies arrive, Jax and his team would force them to fight. Sure, he could kill off some civilians, but where's the fun in wasting energy on a bunch of weaklings?

Darcy cartwheeled, slid and break-rolled at the flying ice shards. One scratched his arm drawing blood. He was looking for an opening. Suddenly Darcy saw it. He took a small piece of metal from the Scattergun and placed it on his head while he dodged. The metal turned to a scouter, and with it, Darcy saw that Lone always had a 3 second interval between throws. Maybe....
Darcy fired his Scattergun at the ground, facing his back to Lone. The shockwave was enough cause a crater in the ground. He hit Lone hard, causing him to drop his to drop the icicles.
"When you circle an enemy," Darcy grunted, grabbing Lone's arm, "Make sure he doesn't have a huge boomstick." He put the Scattergun at Lone's chest and fired again, letting go of Lone's arm again.
The blast threw Lone straight to the ground. Darcy felt two of his ribs break as the gun lurched backward from recoil as he flew in the air.

He landed hard, rolling backwards, his gun falling from his grip, about 4.9 feet away. He was scratched and bruised all over. His arm bled for the icicle that caught him. His pain sensors frantically flew to his brain informing that his two ribs hadn't punctured his lungs, but was in critical shape. Still, he shakily stood to his feet, his glasses slightly broken and lopsided. He retrieved his tool, which returned to it's circular metallic shape. He waited for his opponent to face him again.

Dr. Shankman was a bit surprised that Rachel had began lifting objects around. "You haven't harmed me Rachel. I'm more than fine. However, I do not tolerate disruption during a demonstration. You know the rules: Disruption during a practice is like asking for entering the fight."
He turned back to the screen, just in time to see Darcy pull his explosive frog stunt. He checked the vital systems. Both combatants were incredibly injured, but it soon showed Lone healing immediately.
"I would think that my rule still applies as long as I'm in charge. Rachel, you and Jace are to assist Darcy."
Shankman pressed a few buttons, and a portal opened to the the simulation.

Elaine was beginning to regret coming to Biology at all. Her instructor told her to switch to Red's desk. The instructor droned on and on about stuff that Elle already knew. She turned to Red. Normally, she wouldn't really deal with him, because he was a Pyrokinetic, and Ice and Fire never mixed, but she was so bored she had nothing else other than play with the pencil on her side. But chatting was more eventful than spinning the pencil round and round. Besides, she need to ask him something.
"Hey Red," She muttered, "Mind telling me why you weren't at Callistar's meeting the other day? I mean, not like it wasn't important or anything." Her voice was dripping with sarcasm. "We had just gained info on a enemy group that could potentially threaten us and everyone around."

Rachel and Jace are now on Darcy's team!
    Jax's Team made it through!

Rachael looked at Ryder as he approached. Great more unwanted attention. "I am fine. I was just daydreaming and... I kinda didn't realize what I was doing." She admitted to him. Ryder continued to talk about the battle but in truth she had no idea what was going on with it. She hadn't cared to pay attention to it. "Yeah I guess..." She responded.

Rachael cringed as the teacher started to talk directly to her. "I know sir, I am sorry sir." She really didn't want to join in the fight at all. They bother where obviously far more talented then her. But at least she could try to control her powers a bit better, she just hoped she didn't get hurt like Darcy was now. No, not possible the teacher wouldn't allow it would he? Not if she stopped fighting back. Darcy didn't seem to mind but she did. She wasn't the fighting type but she could always give it a try.

She entered the battle area beside Darcy. She gave Darcy a small smile then turned her attention to Lone. She closed her eyes momentarily and tried to focus on her powers. She then looked straight into Lones eyes she would read his mind to discover his next move so she could counter or warn the others. She didn't know how well she would do at normal fighting but she would try. While reading his mind Rachael began to slowly raise up a chunk of ice that Lone was using against Darcy. She was finding it difficult to use both her skills at once but she had to try. She brought it up to chest level and held it there until she could figure out his next move and decide what to do.

Ryder watched the fight intently now. Since two of his teammates were involved now. "Sir, I know Lone is tough and all. But is three against one really fair for him?" Ryder commented to the doctor. Ryder was all about fair play. Ryder watched the match and was trying to figure out what Rachael's next move would be. She looked Lone in the eye so she obviously read his mind. "She's going to need to do something soon. Her telepathy can give her an edge, but his thoughts could change in a moment." Ryder commented, not even realizing he said it out loud.

    Malcolm 'Plus' Johnson

"Sounds like a ton of fun." Malcolm said as he cracked his knuckles. He could already think of the mayhem he and his clones could cause. "Ah, mayhem is the best part of the job." Malcolm said. Malcolm took out a knife and twirled it around his hand. He now couldn't wait for them to get to the city. "I need bombs. An infinite number of suicide bombers could be useful. Maybe once we get back to our prison I could get some. According if they don't have our heads of course." Malcolm thought aloud. He liked to talk mostly to annoy people, great fun.
"So any idea on the pets the good doctors will be sending?" Malcolm asked "I hope it's someone with cool powers like being able to grew the size of a skyscraper, or maybe a teleporter. I've always wanted to fight a teleporter." Malcolm speculated. Malcolm continued to twirl his knife around his hand.
