The lion shrieked, clawed, and about everything to get out of Ryder's grip. All of it useless, Ryder's skin was too dense for the lion's claws to penetrate, at least at the current state the lion was in. Darcy fired his cannon at the bot. The shot hit it in the back in and revealed it's power supply.

"Muscle! Hold it down! I'm going for the kill!" Darcy shouted. "Got it!" Ryder yelled back. Ryder shifted positions and put the mechanical beast in a headlock. The lion struggled even more now. Ryder had a hard time keeping his grip, but he kept it long enough for Darcy to remove the power supply.

The lion instantly froze, not struggling against Muscle's strength, as it's eyes shut off. There was a descending hum, as the lion went limp. All systems went to immediate shutdown. The lion was detained. When it went fully limp Ryder released it. Ryder fell back on the ground and sighed out of exhaustion. It's hard keeping a robot lion down.

After about a minute of laying down he hopped up. "Bravo." Dr. Shankman said from the stands. There was some applause, even Banshee was clapping. "I would also like that fuel cell back, if you don't mind." Dr. Shankman asked Darcy, "You and Sanders' grades have been raised. you also preformed an excellent example of teamwork and precision timing. You are now able to return to the Main District." Ryder gave Darcy a huge pat on the back. "Way to go rookie! Too bad our fearless leader and the others didn't see us out there."

Jace lay atop the roof of the old research complex, gazing up at the blue sky and the shift of clouds. Ever since he was released from the hands of the scientists, he spent most of his time in the open air, whether it was beautiful or not. His left hand unconsciously drifted to his collar, the one thing helping him suppress his immense electromagnetic field. Bad things tend to happen when he frees himself... such as birds flying around in circles, unable to fly South since there was no South within his field. His electromagnetic field was that strong, that dense. Never has there been a human with that strong of a field.

"I wonder what it's like... to watch television, to listen to the radio... to play video games..." Jace murmured. Even with the collar, he could not do those things; either he had to be far back to participate with a group during a show, unable to hear or watch the TV. Jace's field was not compatible with technology. I'm a walking, talking EMP... Jace thought, mildly amused by his own mocking thoughts.

He sighed, closing his eyes. The loneliness was suffocating, but he bore the emotion with practiced discipline. He was still not a part of a Battalion, even though he agreed to partake in OmegaTech. Jace lay and waited. Should he simply remain on the roof, away from everyone, and forget class? He chuckled sadly to himself. "Even if I don't want to be alone, I have no other choice..." he remarked sadly to himself.

He thought back to earlier, androids and AIs were trying to contact him. However, Jace could not hear a word that they were saying, due to the static. They weren't close enough to him to be fried, but they were close enough to have some minor audio troubles. "I wonder why this place relies on technology so much. It's so troublesome..." he muttered, rising from the roof. "Although, I am curious about what is going on currently." Jace went towards the door that had led him to the roof and began his descent, towards his class (which he was rather quite late to).

The teacher for Combat Training was going to scold him, he knew.

As Jace descended the stair well, he put on his usual smile that he had worn since his first time meeting with many of the other specimens of the Enhancermorph Project. It was just something he felt necessary to do: to be friendly and to smile, to never let others see what's deep, deep down. He also made more effort to suppress his electromagnetic field further than it already was, not wanting to damage any tech and to keep his power hidden; for the most part. At this level of suppression, the only thing that could reveal his power, to a mild extent, was a handshake.

It was quite a hair raising experience.

(Sorry For the short post. I'm grounded)

"Thanks." Darcy said, "I have to admit that that was really tough. And I can understand why Elle would leave. Being a leader an be time consuming. Give her a break. She may be fearless, but even the ice queen can get tired."

"Yes but at least she's got hell of a recruit to look after." Came Banshee's voice as she landed next to Darcy. A chubby kid also landed with Banshee. He looked strangely old, but still looked about 17. "This guy's John. John Doe. He's able to feign death periodically."
"And why so friendly now?" Darcy asked, "And I thought that I was your average new fish."
"Banshee's got a knack of being wrong." John said quietly. "If anything your little 'initiation' is one of the few things that impress her. If anything, she loves to fight."
"What he said." Banshee went on. "So, I'm sorry."

Darcy frowned. I'm sorry? Darcy knew that she owed him. He decided to play the flirt card.
"You can do better then that. And I know exactly how." Darcy grunted, "It's kind of a shame that for cute gal like you, you literally blew me away."
"Very charming, Tintop." Banshee said with a smirk. "But for me to even consider accepting your advances, your gonna need to try harder then that." She walked out the Battle Hall, John tailing her.
"At least I get the notion that she might like me. What battalion is she in? Darcy asked.

"Lambda C-2, I think Rocketfingers is the current leader." Ryder said in a distasteful manner.
"Rocketfingers?" Darcy asked, "What kind of name is Rocketfingers? A guy who plays with explosives and he blew his hands off?"
"I would think he is a pyrokinetic." Said Dr. Shankman, "And a very bad attitude to match."
"Oh great, so that means all the battalions like to try to heat on each others skulls?"
"Natural rivalry, yes." Shankman replies, "But in the end, every battalion fight alongsides whenever there is danger, although Lambda never usually had a clean record."

"Whatever." Darcy mutters, turning to Ryder. "Is there any arcade around here by any chance?"

    ELAINE VITRUSIO

Elle sighed. She had beaten herself 27 times and still could not relieve herself of the boredom she felt. Maybe it was because of Darcy. She willed her ice pieces to disappear to vapour and relaxed in her chair.
She thought of everything that was going on. She remembered the first time she was paired with Poke, Ryder, and Rachel. Rachel was always quiet. She never talked much and always had her head in a book. But her deductive skills surpasses even Elle's own, slicing puzzles in record timing, but only when it comes to one final solution, making chess not really her forte. And Poke, the energetic joker. He practically fails at 45% of all training situations because of him being clumsy. But he always had a good sense of humor. And lastly, Muscle. The was a meathead, but was a good den father.

All in all, Elle really wondered what Darcy would offer.

Jace ran through corridor after corridor, sliding as he went around corners. He didn't care much for his classes, but he preferred to look like someone who somewhat cared and had a bad habit of being tardy. Truthfully, he could short out a simple alarm clock just by touching it; or, if he was in his room and kept his chambers locked, he could simply short out anything electrical if he slept without his collar. Lately, the collar hasn't been functioning at full capacity, perhaps a component was shorting out... or his electromagnetic field was simply getting stronger. Nevertheless, he didn't mind the small convenience... it gave him an excuse to be late.

"I'm late!" He cried, feigning worry. "I'm really, really late!"

He slid to a halt, eying the door to the combat hall, and opened it with such tenacity that he was quite surprised by his own strength; it wasn't that he was strong, but rather it was due to his faux-eagerness. He wasn't much of an actor, but Jace managed to pull it off well enough that it amazed him. There, in the hall, were several people, all conversing. "Eh?" He balked. "Did I miss class?" He asked, aloud. The albino walked further in, approaching his classmates... and the newblood.

Running an obstacle course, that all they had to do. Well, Allen did figure that this was going to be different form what he was used to, but he wasn't expecting it to be this different. Oh, well. The point of it all was to be stealthy, something that he could do fairly well, so he just waited as everyone went and took there turns..

One by one he watched everyone ahead of him run the course. All of them made it through with little problem at all, only further cementing his thoughts on how easy this was. In fact, he started to not pay attention to it all, figuring that it'd be the same results the whole way through. When the alarm when off however, he was brought back to the scene before him and saw that someone had messed up, a girl in fact. While he thought of it as a simple mistake, everyone else just laughed at her until she spoke out. Her words reminded him of all the times that he's gotten into fights before. Even time he gave them a fair warning and every time not a one of them listened to it.

When all the noise had calm down, Allen just watch as the girl came running back and everyone else just went on with there task. Fortunately there was still some time before he needed to run the course so he made his way over towards the girl. "You okay?" He asked. He didn't know how she would react to someone approaching her after that little display, but fortunately he had no ill intent in what he was doing.

Rachael looked up as a boy approached her. She did her best to not look directly at him though to avoid more unneeded embarrassment. "I-I'm fine. Don't worry about me, really." She said trying to hide the fact that she was really upset. She wanted to cry but wouldn't. "Focus on doing the course. I am sure you will do great." Rachael said with a small smile as she hid her face back in her arms. She just wanted this class to end so she could get out of there as fast as possible.

As the class wrapped up Rachael grabbed her stuff and prepared to leave, only to be stopped by the teacher. "I know you are upset but what you did today was unacceptable. You where late, you hit a student with a book, and you openly threatened the class. I can't just let that pass. Please take a seat, you have detention. I will send word to your battalion leader that this is where you are." The teachers soft tone was slightly harsh as she spoke, but she could tell that Rachael wouldn't be able to handle a scolding, nor did she really need it.

Rachael simply nodded and went to take a seat at a desk to start her detention. What would Elle say when she found out? She probably wouldn't hear the end of it. One good thing about having detention was that she was able to read without being interrupted. So maybe getting it wasn't so bad after all. Although it did lead to a long line of teachers not trusting her anymore. Once you start getting in trouble everyone knows and will treat you like you had intent of getting in more trouble. She never liked getting in trouble in the first place, she couldn't help it though. It wasn't her fault she had a bad dream and over slept, or was over protective of her book, or that she got overwhelmed and said something she shouldn't have. She couldn't really control it.

"Rocketfingers?" Darcy asked, "What kind of name is Rocketfingers? A guy who plays with explosives and he blew his hands off?"
"I would think he is a pyrokinetic." Said Dr. Shankman, "And a very bad attitude to match."
"Yeah I've never liked the guy too well myself." Ryder added. "Oh great, so that means all the battalions like to try to heat on each others skulls?" Darcy said.
"Natural rivalry, yes." Shankman replies, "But in the end, every battalion fight alongsides whenever there is danger, although Lambda never usually had a clean record."
"That's an understatement." Ryder chuckled. "Whatever." Darcy mutters, turning to Ryder. "Is there any arcade around here by any chance?" Ryder had to think that one over for a second. He never has been one for arcades. "Yeah, the battle sims. Most of us train using them. Although I myself prefer something more real. Blame my old man for that. He's a museum curator, obsessed with old stuff. He still sends me old books, comics, workout equipment, and stuff like that. He even sends me baseball cards and action figures for some reason. Heck I bet some of the crap he sends me is worth enough to make another OmegaTech facility."
"Eh?" Some albino guy said as he walked in. Ryder recognized this guy. He was the artificial guy. Jace or Jason or something with a J was his name. "Did I miss class?" He asked aloud. "No worries. The teacher was late so he ended class early. Although me and Darcy here stayed and fought this robot lion thing for extra credit. It's....uh......Jace right?"

Jace sighed with relief that he didn't miss class. "I see." He began, trying his best to smile friendly. "And correct, my name is Jace." Jace closed the distance between them and looked Darcy up and down. "So... you're Darcy, the new guy?" He asked him, shoving his hands into his pocket. The albino analyzed the boy, his smile never fading, trying to figure out if he was a potential threat or not. But, he looked harmless enough to him; though a nagging suspicion tugged at the recesses of his mind.

Jace shoved that paranoid thought further back into his mind. "It's a pleasure to meet you... welcome to OmegaTech," Jace said, not waiting for an answer. "I hope everyone is treating you well."

He had just exited the V.R pod, having failed the mission. "Well, damn." He sighed, then looked at the computer screen. "Time?" "Recommended to head to class now." "Oh crap." He looked out the door, ran towards it, opened, left and shut it, then ran off. "Hopefully I don't come in late!" He muttered to himself, running swiftly through twists and turns in the building as he made his way to--"Stealth Ops!" He yelled, entering the class on time. During the class, or 'briefing', they were told that they would be tested on a course. He groaned, having failed his in V.R training, then sighed. "Well, you snooze, you lose. I'll do it!" He said, grinning. What's the worse that could happen? When it was time to leave, he left the room, then heard a smack. Turning back, he found Rachel being told that she was going to pay for something by someone else. Seeing the book, he guessed what was happening, then walked away before the teacher could notice

At the course, Poke waited his turn, watching the others closely. Some finished, some tried their best but couldn't make it. They were all good tries, he thought to himself.. When it was his turn, he quickly stretched, then made his way to the folder, more cautious than usual. When he saw his chance, and knew that no one was watching, he'd knock out a guard, either from close range by fists or long range by using his powers. Point is, he finished the course, although it took longer than he would of liked, and he got a few compliments. He waited for everyone else to finish, then found it was Rachels turn. Uh oh... When she failed, many people started laughing, although Poke wasn't one of them. He frowned. She was so close, too. Then there was the outburst, then the quiet walking away in to the corner, to which Poke felt pity. He was having trouble deciding whether to leave her alone, or to help her. That's when someone else approach, and after an out of earshot talk, Poke smiled. "Atleast someone else in the class is nice..."
Once class ended, he stayed behind to see that Rachel was given detention. Frowning, he left, and even though he had succeeded, he felt a bit gloomy. He looked at a nearby clock, then left the hall.

    Location: Plaza
    Time: Something like 8:30 AM

He was sitting on a bench, drinking a can of soda, thinking quietly. He stopped drinking for a moment. "Something doesn't feel right..." He said, looking around, then down to his shadow. "..." After a small moment of silence, he continued drinking, although a voice of laughter started to ring in his mind.

(DAY 2 IS NOW FINISHED. FINISH OFF YOUR DAY WITH ANY ACTIVITY. YOU DO NOT NEED TO PUT THEM IN BED. I WILL DO THAT AUTOMATICALLY.)

    DARCY TULLEPIO

"Lets just say that the certain people that find me polite are the ones who treat me well." Said Darcy to the albino mamed Jace. Darcy felt strangely drained at the newcomer's presence. "And thank you for your welcome," Darcy went on, "You may not have been here for class, but you can stick around with me and Muscle for the day if you'd like."

"Dr. Shankman, are there any multi-person training sims around here?" Darcy asked Shankman.
"Not unless your counting Buddy's Public Hangout." Shankman replied, "The sims there are the least glitchy, and they have some of the best service. Especially for a pub run by Enhancermorphs your age."

"I guess we can go there to relax or mingle.." Darcy muttered, "But it's you choice. I would like to relax somewhere."

He sighed, hanging his coat on to his coat hanger. He was inside his room, and he was staring at his VR pod. He didn't like what happened earlier today, that strange feeling he had. That cold, dark laughter ringing in his mind. He walked over to the VR pod, then looked back at his bed. What should he do? Sleep? Or train some more? Well, that was an easy one actually.

He opened the VR pod, and went inside. "Think we should practice on one versus many..." He closed his eyes, and let the V.R take over. And there he was, back inside virtual reality, surrounded by hordes of robots. Hopefully, after all this was done, he'd feel better. He always did. But something told him that, perhaps, this time would be different. And as he stood there, looking around at the adversaries, he heard that cruel laugh again.

He frowned, and shook his head. "C'mon, get a grip already...." He said to himself. He stretched a bit, then got ready to fight. Hopefully, nothing bad would happen tomorrow. After all, it was only, what, day 2 for the new recruit? What's gonna happen to him if they got attacked or something? "Don't be ridiculous..." The enemies ran towards him, snapping him back in to training. "I really hope I get over this weird feeling!"

After spending a longer time then she would have liked in detention Rachael packed up her stuff and left the classroom. She decided to head straight for her room. Rachael had not eaten all that day but she didn't care, she didn't want to take the chance of coming across Elle. Her teacher said she was going to inform her that she had detention, and Elle would most certainly get mad over that. She didn't want to deal with an angry Elle, but she couldn't avoid her forever either. But today she could.

Rachael made it back to her room in record time where she curled up on her bench by the window and picked up her book once again to read. You would think she would have been able to finish that book by now, and in fact she did. It was her third time reading it that day, but she had no other book with her in detention and she had to finish it now. She had already started it. Besides it was her favourite book and the escape from reality that she needed after that days events.

After a few hours of reading Rachael put down her book having finished it yet again. She glanced at her clock 8:30 PM
She read. It wasn't all that late but she didn't know what to do now and after not getting a good sleep the night before she figured it was time for bed. Rachael took her time getting changed and her teeth brushed before climbing into her bed and turning off the lights. As she closed her eyes the sound of the kids laughing echoed through her mind. She was so embarrassed and couldn't help it. Rachael berried her head under the blanket trying to block out the noise. "Stop it please stop." She said quietly. "What right did they have to laugh at me?" She questioned right after.

Jace smiled at Darcy. "You're welcome, and thank you for the invitation," he told the boy. However, Jace was uncertain as to whether or not join Darcy and Muscle to the pub. Him and tech never got along, and so if the simulations were going on, they would fuzz up due to Jace's very presence. Then again, it wasn't often that Jace got to go out and about, talking to a lot of other people. Perhaps he could try and suppress his power further, as to not interrupt the tech within the pub. Jace continued to smile and nodded. "Sure, I'll come along," he said. "I've been meaning to go, anyway."

Jace began to think that this might be a bad idea, going with Darcy and Muscle to the pub, but he pushed the idea aside. If his field caused more than minor disruptions towards the tech, which it shouldn't, then he would simply leave. While reassuring himself, Jace began to focus on his field, attempting to suppress it. With a quiet sigh to himself, he gestured Darcy to lead the way; all the while, he felt the field buzzing against his skin like a second layer of clothing.

Seeing as how he wasn't going to get anything else out of her, Allen decided to leave her alone and run the course. Just as he'd figured it was fairly simple to do, so long as you paid attention. Which when your trying to avoid any unwanted attention which could lead to a pointless fight, it became second nature to him.

Once he was finished with the course class soon ended and Allen returned to his room. It wasn't too late by the time he'd return, which didn't matter much to him. He was planning on hitting the hay soon anyway.

    DAY 3
    ???
    Time:10:23 am
    Location: Unknown

    1/10 days

In the darkness, there was grunting of a male, and the clinking of weights. He was always was pushing himself to the limit, making sure he was the best of the best. It was funny, considering that the same scientists who mocked him and shunned him actually wanted him to work for them, thanks to his abilities. The male looked to his right to see the abomination standing next to him. It looked to be a muscular man, but with horrible metallic attachments. An iron crown gouged the monster's eyes and surrounded the head, and it was attached to a small frame that powered a yellow light frame. It had no hands, but instead spiked steel clubs that turned like saws.

"So, Payne," The male address his companion putting the bench presser down, "What do you think about all this waiting? Is it truly fair that we have to sit around here, lift weights and polish guns?"
The beast let out a guttural but robotic growl, "No."
"I agree." The male said, "This gives the enemy an opening. And I hate looking weak."
    "Tenderize...enemy?" The monster inquired.
"I could do that, but I'd get in trouble for it. As you already know, I'm not the boss. I could get murdered."
    "Over...my dead body."
The male smiled at Payne. "That's what I like about you friend. You're my roommate and my protecter." He turned and grabbed a dumbbell, lifting it up and down. "Anyway, I got rules to follow. And besides, think of the mollah."
Payne let out a short grunt, dissatisfied. "They mean....nothing....to you..Kill all...who oppose..."
The male looked at his monster, seriously this time. This very creature, was made from his own anger, a beast he imagines he could be. Even though there were risks involved, this beast was thinking exactly what he was thinking. And he liked it.

Jax stood, throwing a towel over his shoulders. Yes, he thought, maybe it was a good idea to take the opportunity to strike while OmegaTech was in the green light. But he would need a team. Jax suddenly smiled.
"Lets go find the Negativo Quads." Jax said to his companion. "They'll be suitable for the job."
    "With pleasure..."

Darcy stretched as sunlight filled his room. He got dressed, and walked out of his flat. The city was especially busy today. Countless Enhancermorphs, were chatting, goofing off, or heading to their places. Oh well, time to worry about more battle training. He flagged down a Carrier Trolley, and entered the Battle Hall, thinking about yesterday. Jace was very nice to talk to, but for some reason he had a strange aura, and for some reason shorted out any electronic within 5 feet of him. Darcy always felt drained around him. Was that his power? Shorting out electricity?

Oh well, Darcy though, I'll figure it out later. He walked out of the vestibule and into the arena.

Rachael woke up early to get ready for class. She couldn't be late once again or else she would be in big trouble since Elaine was in her class today. Biology... it was going to be a boring class but at least it had minimal opportunities for embarrassment. After what happened yesterday she really would like to avoid making another scene. At least she didn't have another nightmare, that was a more positive start to the day already.

Rachael stared into the mirror for a bit not really doing anything. 'why am I even here?' She questioned as she brushed out her hair and put it into a neat little ponytail. 'I don't belong here... But then again is there anywhere I do belong?' She continued to think. Once the bow was tied in her hair she backed away from the mirror and sat back on her bed. She almost wanted to cry again but wouldn't let herself. She was so confused with her life at the moment she didn't know what to do. On top of that she was sure Elle had heard about her detention. The teacher said she would send someone to inform Elle of her whereabouts. She had a feeling Elle would be mad at her, and she feared Elle more then anyone else here but also respected her. It was a good fear but fear none the less.

Rachael finally calmed herself down enough to leave her room. She grab her text book, a note book and a pen. She wouldn't bring a book this time to avoid possible trouble. After locking her room she started on her way to class. She left with plenty of time to grab an apple for breakfast on her way to class. She made it to class with a few minutes to spare. She wasn't early really but she wasn't late either. She glanced around the room for open seats and took one in the far back corner. It didn't look like Elle was there yet.

Jace walked towards the Battle Room, reminiscing about the night before. He and Darcy went to the pub and chatted, but he had accidentally shorted out the electronics around him. Was the collar truly malfunctioning? He sighed, shaking his head. "I suppose I'll ask one of the professors here about making a newer, stronger collar..." he murmured, attempting to shorten his electromagnetic field's range to that of being skin-tight. It was becoming an issue, and if the collar happens to malfunction to the point of becoming useless, a good portion of the city would not have the necessary power it would need to ease the everyday life of its citizens. Worse yet, what if his field was powerful enough to assault the planet's own?

That, however, was a worse-case scenario, theorized by the scientists that created him. He did not know how powerful his own field was, but he wasn't going to risk it. Thankfully, the collar still worked enough to keep his shield from extending more than 10-feet. How much further could it go without the collar, he wondered. Jace shook his head again and sighed. "On a brighter note," Jace said aloud. "At least I'm on time to class!" As he approached the door to the Arena, the hairs on the back of his neck rose. Curious, he opened the door to the Arena and saw Darcy not too far away.

Smiling, Jace approached Darcy. "Ah, well if it isn't the Newblood!" Jace exclaimed. "It seems as though we're in the same class."

"Enough is enough." The voice of their leader boomed out before his brothers. The three, who were sparring against each other, instantly froze and turned to face their original self. "What?" Said Fury. Fury, the brother of rage and anger. "You heard me. We go back inside. I think it's time we find Jax." The leader turned and headed back inside the building, not waiting for the others. But he knew that the three knew better than to argue or disobey, so they went along with him. "Why are we seeing Jax again?" Asked Fury. "Not like we got something better to do...Well, besides sparring." Was the response of the brother of discord, Jack. And for the rest of the trip there, they stayed silent.

"JESUS." He woke up, pouring with sweat. His blanket wasn't on the bed, it was on the floor. "Huh..." He looked at his hand, and it was trembling. "...Nightmare..." An image of strangely colored eyes whizzed past his minds eye. He got up, and shook his head. "No...Stop that." He sighed, then made his way to the vent in his room. He put his hand near it, then suddenly, ice started to form over his hand. It spread until it reached his head, where a ring of ice formed, quickly cooling himself down. "Ah, that feels good..." Once he had his fill, all the ice broke at once, they burst in to steam, which Poke quickly got away from. He looked at the V.R pod, and thought of going inside again. "...." He walked over to it, which opened automatically. He sighed, and got inside, then waited, once more, for the V.R to take over.

The Negativo Quad were deep in the base. "Where..." The leader muttered under his breath, when finally, he turned a corner and found him. "Jax...There you are." He walked over, and looked him in the eye. "I've been searching for you."
