ending of any anime, movie or anime that left you in awe *spoiler warning

Have you ever watched something and then you reached the ending of it and all your left with, is awe. In this thread discuss the endings that left you in awe. For me:

Death note: just.......wow.........oh my god.....wow

The first Saw movie: WHAT A TWIST!

Dead Rising 2: oh well this seems like a normal happy ending, I guess everyone lives happily ever af- HOLY **** SURPRISE ZOMBIE!

Anyways the end of V for Vendetta always made me feel amazed. The whole movie was not like the graphic novel but I actually liked the movie alot more

Angel Beats: OH MY GOD! I couldn't stop crying after watching the ending to that one. It's probably one of the best animes that I have seen to date, even if I haven't seen all the episodes quite yet (watched it in anime club and can't find any of the first few episodes). The emotion instilled in it was just amazing. It captured more human emotion than most movies I've seen to date. .

Death Note: The Last Name: Probably a better conclusion than the anime in my opinion. Honestly, I never saw it coming, it hit me like a strong wind. In the end, I beleive it's the best way to end a movie series (Change the WorLd was a spin-off, therefore something on its own -_-).

 

InuYasha (moreso the manga than The Final Act) - because it was just so goddamn good and the majority of loose strings were tied up.

Kenshin leaves his new family to travel the world, even though it's clearly stated in the manga that he had no intentions to move on from the happiness he found with Kaoru? Kenji grows up to hate him, and then when he finally comes back to Kaoru he's sick (with an unknown disease that the writers had made up), she decides to share the sickness with him and them he dies?

It seriously made me wonder what they were smoking, and how Watsuki even approved it. :|

I felt that was pretty much the summary of what happened to him...was it even resolved in the anime?

Wolf's Rain had a pretty good ending even though is a bit confusing.

I was sad for Jiro, but at the same time kinda happy that he finally knew what it was like to be truly human.

 

The ending of Cowboy bepop had me in tears!

I was crying my eyes outI couldnt believe spike died I was so shocked and upset. I was yelling that it cant end that way. ;~; It was so sad

 

Neon Genesis Evangelion. The whole series was quite a shock.

 

The ending of The Sky Crawlers was the just erm...trippy.
Everything happens so fast you can barely keep up.
The first time you watch it you're saying "What the HECK just happened!?!?"
Then you watch it again(which you have to, trust me) and you say "Oh...whoa...wow..." *sniff*
