Birth by Sleep Ending= Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core's ending

Do you this the ending of BBS will be similar to Final Fantasy: Crisis Core's ending?

I think Zack talks to Cloud after being mortally wounded by all of those Soldiers, and then eventually dies. It's such a sad, yet satisfying ending.

 

No, I highly doubt that the ending is going to be that similar to Crisis Core and I hope the question is not asked because 'Terra looks like Zack'. To not spoil it, I'm not going to say anymore.

 

Of course not, you think Terra will die and then pass his sword to Ven telling him he's the evidence that he lived, and then a hand comes down and grabs Terra's hand and lifts him into the air? I don't think so.

Actually, I meant that the ending will seem very bleak if you don't acquire the secret ending, more or less. I mean it doesn't seem like this game is gonna have a happy ending, unlike the previous KH games.

 

Well, saying it that way, yeah, I bet you are right. It does seem it will end bleak since there is obvious evidence with the other games we've already played that the future has some bad things that happen due to the past. It will be interesting to see a KH game end on a note that is so grim if it happens.

 

Maybe Aqua's physical body dies similarly to Aerith in Final Fantasy 7.

I know I'm getting to much stuff from FF7 but some stuuf from that game could happen in this game.

 

Meaning Sephiroth will leap unexpectantly from nowhere and stab her? /:

Why would you want to replay FF7 with a set of different characters? Just replay the original game.

Either way, these guys (SE) are perfectly capable of coming up with something new. Why bother rehashing old sh!t? That's just silly.

 

Actually I meant some dark being (the dark suited keyblade weilder particularly) could kill her off in a rather cold and unexpected manner.

 

Kingdom Hearts didn't really have a happy ending, it just ended on a hopeful note. Chain of Memories ending was lukewarm as Namine does apologize but Sora has to sleep for a year.

Birth by Sleep will end probably a little after the Secret Ending with the same title. My theory is that Terra will kill Master Xehanort using the power of darkness but will somehow send himself and his apprentice to the future. Meanwhile Aqua dies in the area known to them as the Cavern of Sleep, her armor is materialized by Xemnas while in the chamber. The apprentice will have a secret ending in which Ansem meets him lying in a field in Radiant Garden the apprentice doesn't remember how he got there. Ansem then asks "What is your name boy?" and he says "It's Xehanort."

So it might be similar to Crisis Core's ending in that it's a direct lead-up to Kingdom Hearts. A post end credits moment could show Riku and Sora playing in the cave and Sora leaves with Riku seeing the Keyhole.

 

I think SE is a bit more creative than that.

Though I'd like to see Terranort arriving at Ansem the Wise's door in a dazed state.

And I think having one of these games end on a bleak note would be refreshing. Not everything is sea salt ice cream and pretty men to gawk at. ee;

 

The games are a bit darker than sometimes I think people realize. Disney covers a lot of it up to make it friendly but really there are some bad things to think about such as people existing without hearts and trapped in a stasis, a boy being manipulated by dark beings and falling into despair and torment and having to rise above it without losing himself entirely, whole worlds and people being devoured by creatures etc. It's not that friendly.

However, though I hope that it's not a repeat of FF 7 in any way, I do think this game will end on a note that is pretty desperate so that the future people can hopefully clean the mess, even though it is apparent by what Xemnas said, the Keyblader is unusually young, so they didn't do a tremendous job in the past, but enough perhaps to hold off things for a while. I do think it will be a darker game in that thought, but I think 'hope' that the future will fix things will be something of an important note too.

 

Unless the secret ending reveals something worse coming. I mean, if the ending showed Sora's limp body in the claws of some vile creature you wouldn't call THAT hopeful.

 

It depends on what you mean by similar and what ending you're talking about.

If you're talking about the secret ending, I suppose it could be similar, but only in the way that it mirrors the introduction of the next game: It could be just like the intro of KH1.

If you mean the regular ending, than I don't see how that could really fit.

Well I was thinking it could be like the main ending where it's bleak, yet there is some hope, but something that'll introduce KH1 would work too.

 

Excellent point! BBS though does seem it is going to end in a way that will have to have some hope in the 2 kids on the beach at least to do the right thing. It does now make me wonder how KH3 will turn out when all these other games are out of the way.
