    Hey, @Misty. I don't suppose you've managed to find the culprit? :)

I'll send another email to Josh but for now it may be easier to simply use a more common email provider (e.g. Gmail).

I still have my Yahoo! Mail account. I could use that for KH-Vids. (It's just that I like everything all in once place, but if I have to, I guess I will, haha!)

Thanks to XenForo's alert system, it hasn't been that much of a burden, but the e-mails are still incredibly useful.

Hi, @Misty! :) I don't suppose you've heard back from Tienewman yet, have you?

@Misty, I know you're probably getting irritated that I keep asking, but have you heard back from Ron/Jon/Josh/[Other potential name that you'll call him here]?

I really prefer to have the same email across all sites I visit and would rather not use my Yahoo! Mail account just for KH-Vids. However, and while I know this is a pretty small issue, anyway, if it can't be resolved (which hopefully it can since it was working before), I guess it won't be TOO big of an issue because of XenForo's alert system.

Emails are still pretty convenient, though. For example, if you don't have enough time to check the Internet before going to work, but do have time to glance at your emails real quick, it'd give you a general idea of what to expect later, such as "Oh, hey! Someone responded to "The Great Debate." Maybe someone disagreed with me. I'll need to make sure to look at that first when I get back from work."

I can send him a reminder but it's possible that the issue is in part with your email service, like that they've blacklisted khv or something.

    Please keep me updated. :)

That's certainly a possibility. If that turns out to be the case -- though I don't know why they'd do that, because if it has to do with "anti-spam" measures, I get about the same amount of emails from XenForo Community and SEGA Forum, and I've still been receiving emails from those forums without issues since I stopped getting emails from KH-Vids on the date shown in my OP -- couldn't you just send them a request to be taken off the blacklist like you did with Hotmail?

@Misty, this obviously isn't fixed yet, but maybe we could we try what you tried last time this happened?
    https://xenforo.com/community/threads/server-error-on-emails.42083/

The last time this happened, you sent me two emails: one through the cPanel and through the forum, and I received the cPanel one, but not the forum one. If we try this again and I get the cPanel email just fine, could it be the same issue, perhaps?

I realize you were busy for the holidays when I last posted, Misty, so I figured it couldn't hurt to bump this and see if the above would possibly help find a solution. :)

The last bounced email we've received from your account is from July, which makes it sound as though your email provider is blocking our mail server for whatever reason. I've sent you a test email through the ACP, but if my conclusion is right, mileage often varies on getting email providers to remove blocks and you'd probably be better off switching to gmail or some other provider.

July 2014 was when I made this thread, haha!

I did not get the test email this time, so it's probably blocked, sadly. Going by your wording, though, it sounds like you've sent them a request to unblock like you did with Hotmail for Amethyst? Even though site emails weren't working last time, I got an ACP email, so the issue when KH-Vids first moved to XenForo was something entirely different.

Like I've said before, it's not too big of a deal, but it's definitely convenient to get emails. I do have a Yahoo! email that I can use, though.

It's really weird, though. Why would they suddenly block you guys? If it's to do with the amount of emails, I get a lot more from XenForo Community and about the same on SEGA Forum as I was getting here before they stopped working.

Your email provider doesn't seem to have any kind of resource for getting your mail server unblocked beyond maybe calling their support number which I'm not really planning to do. I have no idea why they'd block us, there are a ton of possible reasons; someone on their service might have flagged us as a spam address for whatever reason, they may have seen someone receiving a huge number of emails from us and assumed we were spam, etc.

Just switch to your Yahoo email.

Thanks, Misty. Yeah, it's really weird.

If I remember, the next time we go in for something, I can ask.

@Misty, it's not a terribly big deal, as I keep saying, haha, but at the same time getting emails and getting emails all in one place is very convenient.

Since we hit a brick wall, out of curiosity, I posted a thread on TAZ asking if there was anything else that could be done, and I got a couple of responses that may be of help:

You can reply there for any questions if you'd like. :)

@Misty, did you ever get a chance to look into the above?

This might also help, alongside that. I was temporarily having issues getting emails from KH-Flare, and it was just a matter of our host changing some settings to meet Charter's requirements (see post #7).

Or just deal with not getting emails, right. But if there are more things we can try like I posted above, shouldn't we give them a try?

I also just contacted Mike Edge, our host for KH-Flare, with a question because I stopped getting emails again on KH-Flare a while ago and I couldn't remember if it was because of something similar--being blacklisted. We got it resolved again, though, and that might be of help to resolving it here.

If the above doesn't work, then I will finallly give up and either keep going without KHV emails or use two separate email applications/emails--Windows Live Mail/Charter for everything but KHV like I've been doing and Yahoo! Mail for KHV.

@Misty, @Plums, just wanted to see if you ever got a chance to try the above method.

So this appears to be fixed. I've been getting email notifications of replies since 10:24 AM (PDT) today.

@Plums, @libregkd, did you guys do any of the suggestions above or is this just working again? (This can also be moved to Bug Reports with the Fixed prefix if appropriate.)
