Eight teens kidnap and attack a 16 year old girl.

Well apparently the boys didn't hit her. It was 6 girls that beat on her after she made comments on Myspace and was acting haughty. I do think the beatdown was excessive and over the top but I do think also that sometimes people really do think they can just say whatever and there will never be repercussions. She was clearly doing passive aggressive attacks at them and they obviously decided to do a pack mentality discipline of aggression on her. Both were stupid. I can see the people getting mad at her for her attitude but injuring the girl so bad to put her in the hospital was more wrong.

I hope that these people all learn something out of this and can move on. I do disagree with putting the girl n the hospital but at the same time don't think they should punished terribly for it because she did insight the violence by attacking some of them. In cases like this it's hard to decide what to do. They do earn some punishment for it because they really need to understand that mentality of beating up someone like that is wrong.

 

I am actually severely shocked at the reaction of some of you, so ****ing what if she "said nasty things on myspace" that does not in any way shape or form make it right that she was attacked like that.

Insults are insults and yes they can hurt, but for ****s sake it's the internet. She did not deserve that at all, i don't care what she said. She did not deserve that at all. The fact that some of you seem to think a gang attack on a girl to the extent she may have permanent damage to her hearing, not to mention the repurcussions this will have on her mentally as she grows older. Hmm I really am quite surprised at some of you.

The way those girls acted was not justified in the slightest.​

You do not bring internet drama into real life. It's the internet for ****'s sake. Sure it's a person writing the words but damn you do not injure the one responsible for writing those words to the point of hearing loss in one ear and hospitalization.

It would be like if someone wrote an editorial in a newspaper and someone organizing a hit on the author of the editorial because they didn't agree. Damn people need to ****ing grow up and get some thicker skin.

It was on MySpace which these things were written which is just pathetic. MySpace is the internet cesspool next to 4chan. There is nothing there but underage girls posting pictures they shouldn't be posting and ****ing teenage drama which led to this.

I, like CTR, am disappointed in several of you. If she instigated the thing or not, it is never alright to condone the injuring and hospitalization of another human being to the point of permanent injury. EVER. Sure she may only have a few bruises and loss of hearing in one ear but it could have been a lot worse. The girl could have lost her life over something as stupid as internet drama. She could have lost her hearing entirely. She could have been brain dead.

And people wonder why I've lost faith in the human race.

No, she did not deserve to get beaten on but did merit some kind of action to her stupidity. That is the point I am raising. She went to Myspace that tons of people view and posted nonsense about others and even after the incident went back to say 'haha, they are all in jail now' or something to the effect. It's like she staged the whole thing. She seems rather narcissistic to me. So, no, I don't condone the beat down she received but at the same time, perhaps they should have shown the parents or something and she should not be doing what she is either.

 

I really don't think she planned that. If she did, she would be stupid becuase she is right now in teh hospital with lost hearing in her left ear, two black eyes and concussion. -_-;; If I was her, I wouldn't have said a single word about this.

 

What losers. Picking on a girl because any guy two years younger than them could probably kick their asses to the curb. That's pathetic.

 

Is this the thing about those cheerleaders beating up on some girl, and rendering her blind in one eye and deaf in one ear?

It was 6 girls that did the beating. No boys did. You guys keep saying it was the boys. the only thing 2 boys did was be look outs. The 6 lame girls beat on her.

 

I've been hearing about this for the past week.I just have to say the girl that got attacked is stupid for posting bad things about the other girls or whatever.The girls that attacked her should be punish, which I'm sure they are(of course), and the guys are stupid for helping the attackers.That's all.

 

What if

a) your in the army, she's on other army.
b) she's armed and stoned.

a) The girl wasn't in the army and neither was the other girls. It is true that women have been employed to go against the principle that men should not hit girls.

b) What? I didn't gather any mention that she was armed or on drugs.

NBC News confirmed the victim was a cheerleader who was ranting one of teh girls and then the insulted one rallied 7 teens to help her and then assault the cheerleader. They are too young and they still go to school.

 

Probation would be good. And if a girl was on an army I was fightning, if I knew it was a girl, and she wasn't armed, I'd try to stay clear.

 

If a female is in the army and going to shoot at me, I'm going to shoot her first. That's the way it goes. I do not like to take -any- life unless I had to but there's a rule of self-preservation too. If the girl is armed and stoned, sure, same deal. If I am, or someone else is threatened, I am going to do something to try to get out of the situation and/or help defend others.

However, this was just a bratty cheerleader that was name calling and being nasty on her Myspace page about some other kids that got sick of her attitude. 6 girls beat her up, as said. No boys touched her apparently. I do think the people who did the crime should get some community service and be monitored. And I would hope the girl would learn to stop being so rude but it does not seem so since after the incident she said that they were all in jail on her myspace page and apparently thought that the scenario of their punishment was amusing. I still say the girl seems rather narcissistic to me, but those kids should have not taken physical retaliation against her either. Now they suffer for having a bad temper.
