Ed It Out

"It's somewhere off on the other side of the island. I've heard Rocas and the others talking about it sometime." She said, thinking.

"I guess we can check it out later, but right now... PANCAKES!!" Sora said smiling.

"Come on, we can make a huge batch and surprise Riku." Kairi said, getting out of bed.

 

"Alright!" Sora said happily.

 

Kairi manages to force her way out of bed and down to the kitchen. Rummaging around she finds blueberries and pancakes. "Come on Sora, I need some help." She says calling up to him.

 

"Okay what should I do?" Sora asked.

 

"Stir up the batter for me, and add in the blueberries as you do." Kairi said, finishing the batter up and handing it to Sora.

 

Sora couldn't understand a word Kairi said. "Ummm Kairi I'm lost, I don't think I know how to cook."

 

"You oaf." Kairi said laughing. "It's simple." Coming up behind Sora she wrapped her arms around his, her chest pressing into his back. "Just stir it like this, and then throw in some blueberries."

 

"Oh Okay," Sora said while blushing bright red "Do you want any blueberries Kairi?" he asked while stirring.

 

"Yeah, since Riku doesn't have any strawberries." Kairi said, brushing her face up against Sora's. "I don't know what it is about you, but I just love being next to you..." Kairi said, kissing Sora on the cheek.

 

Sora giggled "I like being next to you too Kairi" he puts in the last of the blueberries in the batter, "By the way, have you seen Riku?" he asked.

 

"He;s probably still asleep. He's been out of it a lot lately. You think he's mad about us?" Kairi said, hanging onto Sora.

"Riku? Nahh! I doubt it... I guess he's just been tired lately" Sora said. "Hmm does the mixing look okay?"

Sticking her finger into the batter, Kairi tasted it. "Yup, that's definitly good." Sticking her finger back into the batter, she held it up in front of Sora. "Want a taste?"

 

"Sure..." Sora licks the batter off Kairi's finger, "Hey its does taste good, if Riku doesn't wake soon he won't be able to get any." he chuckled.

 

"morning already???" *yawn*. naminé woke up and got out of her bed. she immediately went to riku's house and knocked on the door...

 

"Well if he doesn't then we'll just have to leave him some for when he does, and we can head out. Plus, that just gives us a bit more time to ourselves if he doesn't." Kairi said, chuckling and taking the batter from Sora. She began to spread it out in the pan into a few differnt circles, letting them start cooking.

 

Hearing a knock at the door,Kairi cursed inwardly, but went to open the door. "HiNamine!" KAiri said opening the door."

 

"hey, kairi! can i join you guys for breakfast???", naminé asked kairi.
