I wish I had recorded this battle because I kicked so much butt in it. I remember playing the GBA version of COM and Lexaeus from Reverse/Rebirth was a very hard battle for me to beat. But when I battled him in the PS2 remake I never got hit once. The whole battle I just performed sleights and I did a cardbreak on him every time. I also restored myself with the Mickey cards whenever I needed to so I could get some cards back. It took about 5 mintutes and I already had him beat...I was just wondering...was it this easy for anyone else? Does the game give Riku different cards every time you play his story and it just happend to have given me good cards? why was it so easy now and so hard on the GBA?

Well, playing games is easier on the PS2 than on the GBA.

    that might be why.

GBA has a better deck against Lexaeus than the PS2 deck. If you just used Sleights all the time with the GBA version you would have had an easy time too. Average time it takes to beat Lexaeus in the Remake is about 2 to 3 minutes, while the average time to beat Lexaeus in the original is about a minute and a half, from what I've seen on YouTube.

The Playstation 2 version makes everything easier. They let you unleash massive damage on anyone with sleights and especially the "Duel" option. They also let you keep Mickey instead of losing him after the Lexaeus battle like you should, making it A LOT easier.
Speaking of Lexaeus, he's surprisingly easy in both versions. They stack the deck so well in your favor in the GBA version that it's ridiculous. In the Playstation 2 version, you can take off entire bars of health with one move. Though they did give him more attacks, it's not likely that he'll get to use them.

In Lexaeus' defense for Re:CoM's (lack of) difficulty, he can be invinicible in the Remake if you let him get away with it, making it a slightly longer fight.

The data fight is the Lexaeus I like. In the GBA version he actually has some good and heavily damaging attacks, but like I said, they stack the deck so well for you that you can kill him without even letting him attack:

The Ps2 version has more dodging space for you to move around which tends to make it easier.

^ Which is nice, but Riku in the GBA has the best dodge in any of the games (light mode Riku can dodge Dark Aura with ease, for example, or jumping over RockShatter to fully avoid it, etc.).
