Um...Wasn't it kind of the point of the Dead Space series? To give the player an isolated, frightening experience? But I guess they're not ditching the scare factor...They're just giving you the option to bring a friend with you for the scares.
. . . . Anyone else starting to wonder if EA has a phrase book they keep using entitled 'Things To Say That Will Piss Off Fans'?
Ya know what, I'm not done here yet. REALLY EA?!?!!?!? You marketed Dead Space 2 last time around as 'the scariest game of the year, your mother will hate it, blahblahblah.' Now suddenly the franchise is too scary? REEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYY?
....What, just...****ing what? That's it, I officially give up on EA, that is the dumbest marketing idea I've heard in a good while. IT'S A HORROR, It's supposed to be scary, I mean they aren't scary but they're the best thing this gen has had in a good while. And now it's dead in a ditch.
Oh boy. All aboard the hate train. Maybe you guys should read this and put your pitchforks down: Link
I was about to go punch babies after the first article. I still do want to punch something for the universal ammo though. But I'll play the game all the same. Just really hope it does more to be creepy than 2 did, which was a lot more action-oriented (but the Stalkers were awesome am I right?)
So bad reporting strikes yet again. Well, at least it shows EA isn't quite the cluster**** it normally is.
EA once again proves how ******ed they are. I never thought Dead Space 3 looked interesting so I'm not even going to bother getting it. Why does EA always want to do things that will just piss people off even more? Don't you think they learned from their mistakes? Sure as hell doesn't seem like it.
