You're pissed because you think it's feminist reaction? From Nintendo, the company headed by mainly conservative, old, Japanese men? It bothers you they're trying to be progressive?
Maybe you didn't mean it like that, but it read to me a lot like that.

Also, where's this sci fi game thing coming from? I mean they already have that with Samus, did they mention another sci fi game?

It still seems really uncertain whether the character fighting in the trailer was Zelda or not. Actually, I think we saw Zelda in a different armor set during the trailer (though this might've been during SSBB's, wasn't paying as much attention as I meant to). I'm either going with Zelda, a new character, or a newer version of Link where you could choose which sex you wanna play (like with Pokemon).

All just speculation from me though, Nintendo's being tight lipped as of now, so who knows who that character could be, lol.

I'll play it and probably love it- I just don't see why it has to be a Zelda game D:

That's like saying Disney should've stuck to making movies like they did pre-90s. Once they hit an era where they shifted things up and had more individualistic women, some who were even heroines themselves, they just shouldn't have because it went against their image of damsel in distress motif. Or that they shouldn't have supported Pixar films, because it wasn't the traditional cartoon animation style. Nintendo need to change in a lot of ways. After the Tomodachi Life social issues they had, and the fact they rely on a handful of franchises to develop, they need to diversify those franchises as much as possible.

I liked the Robot Chicken stuff. Showed they're at least aware of the problems fans have with their games. If anything, with their stiff WiiU sales and their disconnect from fans and developers when it comes to their vision, if they become less traditional and a bit more adaptive I think they'd flourish again in the home console market for core gamers instead of just the casuals.

Could it be possible that there is multiple playable characters? So you could play as Link or Zelda? Alternatively it might just be that Link's outfit is customisable hence it's not the traditional green.

I feel like 8 minutes matches going to time on a regular basis is not the same as a 90 second match sometimes going to time.

I have to agree that the Robot Chicken style sketches were... weird. And not that funny.
Please don't do that again, Nintendo.

However, personally, I have been waiting for a core Zelda title where you can play as a lady for years. I WANT IT. Whether it be Zelda or Fem!Link, I really want to see it.
    Please.
i am exhausted, forgive me if i'm incoherant.

In other news from the Ubisoft realm, 'It's too hard to animate a woman, but here have this close up where we examine the pores of Nathan Drake's face.'

I believe Ubisoft's angle was that it'd be too hard to make a CUSTOMIZEABLE female character this late in development, since apparently you can customize the multiplayer Assassins a lot. Makes more sense.
Definitely not gurls are teh gross thing because the've had female Assassins in the games since AC2
