Kinda sad there was no Square-Enix at the conference, but it was expected as they've said themselves they wouldn't show much anyway. Batman Arkham Knight blew me away, the whole thing looked like a cg movie! I'm hyped. Also... UNCHARTED 4!!!

While Sony had the best exclusive announcement with Uncharted 4, I feel like Microsoft and Sony were somewhat even. Both conferences focused heavily on multi-platform titles and exclusive DLC, trying to one-up each other -- which is great, but not for more than half of their respectful briefs. Sony had me for the first few previews and then fell off, then came back when GTA V HD and Uncharted 4 were announced. Though they basically contradicted themselves saying "it's all about the games" then proceeded to talk about stuff like Powers. Personally, I feel that Microsoft had the better approach and Sony had the better games which, to me, evens it out a bit. However, if I had to choose who had the better overall showing, I'd give a check to Sony. After tonight, I still feel that this is Nintendo's E3 to lose.

Definitely excited to pick up Sunset Overdrive, FarCry 4, GTA V HD, Arkham Knight, Halo: MCC, and Destiny this fall, to name a few.

Hideki Kamiya IS the director of Scalebound

Yeah I wish every press event was like this- packed to the brim with games and, for the most part, gameplay. Needed less CG for Crackdown, Phantom Dust (2?) and Scalebound though. It was great. I didn't need a push for the X1 but that was nice to see them burst with potential and finally trade blows instead of just take them.

Sunset Overdrive is game of show for me so far. That game is tits.

I don't feel Conker is a misuse as... we have no idea what's going on. The trailer said "No new game in ten years? We need to change that." He could be the narrator, he could be a character, or he could be getting his own game, or it's a mix. I'm glad Rare decided to make a video game again and it's a good response to Little Big Planet 2. Project Spark (and Fable Legends) looks very interesting to me. I see a lot of potential that I hope doesn't get lost due to ambition or bad programming. MS press conference was so nice for me personally because lookattheavatar and that's a lot of good fan service.. it's also a way to give MS a year of no Halo till Halo 5 like they did with Halo 2 on the 360. Also, just sayin', Phantom Dust 2 is HUUUUUUUUGE. That was one of the best games on the original Xbox- designed by Yukio Futatsugi (Panzer Dragoon, Phantom Dust, Crimson Dragon, former good game activist at Microsoft Japan). It was clever, original in every way, and had great multiplayer... and then no one bought it because MAJESCO. So yeah, a lot of content looked great to me.

    EDIT:

    THE MAN SPEAKS TO ME

No Man's Sky was the only indie that got me excited. Procedural generated worlds have never looked so beautiful. The Order still looks like a QTE/shooting gallery game though.

AC Unity, Ratchet and Clank (THE MOVIE), and a remaster of the original Ratchet and Clank were pretty much the most exciting things to me though.

Hopefully Square will end up surprising everyone with an overseas release of Type-0. Though that seems as likely as The Last Guardian making an appearance this decade.

Also, LBP3 looks cute and fun. Never played the others and seeing this new one in action has me curious.

I'm so overwhelmed this E3. So much announced and so little time (and money). No Man's Sky, 1886, Uncharted 4, Destiny, Unity, Farcry 4.

    Though...no Last Guardian... :c

I'm gonna need to start saving up money T.T

Boring E3. So many CGI trailers for stuff that should be in engine. So many in engine stuff that should've been in game footage. Mental amounts of teasing.

Microsoft may have 'won' slightly more than the others since their conference was organised and direct, like 'we'll start showing off stuff for this year, bam, you can buy these reasonably soon, and here's stuff to drool over for next year, bam' and it was done. With Ubisoft next and Sony and EA both being a bit boring and just waffling on and not really showing anything that new or interesting or it was new gen version of old games.

I'm seeing Nintendo possibly winning me to getting a WiiU if they announce or show a lot that's impressive and it's stuff for this year release wise.

On note, the two genres I find boring, Racing and Sports look the most interesting and are trying something different. The Burnout guys doing a first person multi vehicle open world game looks good. And PGA Tour doing fantasy golf courses, which is something interesting and fun is just a good idea.

I'm personally a little underwhelmed so far. It just seems like a bunch of broshooters and serious-looking action games have been shown. Not my cup of tea.

Not sure about Let It Die. I usually love SUDA51 for all of the over-the-top, campy action, but this looks to have none of that. :X

Let the record show that I, in my crappy first attempt at making a bingo card, predicted Little Big Planet (somehow) and got bingo.

The little X's show what was teased in the little montage at the end (KHBBSFM FROM THE HD REMIX WAS THERE WHOO! SURPRISE EXCITE)
Though as you can see, the lack of Persona anything was disappointing.

I really do like the look of Little Big Planet 3, and I figured it had to be coming soon given that it's made such an impact for Sony. Entwined also looks really good, as did Abzu, and those will definitely be in my cart as soon as I get a PS4. No Man's Land has a lot of promise and it looks really stunning.
But of course, the one that nearly made me scream behind my monitor was Uncharted 4. The dialogue between Drake and Sully has me a little worried that Sully might die this time around (especially with a subtitle like "A Thief's End") but it looks SO GOOD and I can't wait for 2015.

Actually, a new Persona game was announced pretty quietly yesterday during E3. Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, for the Nintendo 3DS, is a crossover between Persona 3 and Persona 4. Trailer here.

That wasn't really its announcement- we've known about it for months and Atlus said it would get localised back in February lol

Yeah, we've known about Persona Q since we've known about Dancing All Night, haha.
I didn't put it on the card because it's for the 3DS, and every other title should at least be coming to a PS console/handheld.

Even though the Nintendo conference is only going to be like half an hour, I have hope.
