Well... My thoughts on Sony have just gone from, they suck, to amazing. The company took a stand for gamers and I respect that. Now for the games. Wow. Thats all I can say. Versus XIII becoming XV (Nice prediction Arch) and Kingdom Hearts III being confirmed. I also saw the brief Tales of Xillia trailer done in English. Guys. The Myst you know to be a complete Sony hater is wanting a PS4 really badly. Also that price. That price is just amazing. Nintendo still is cheaper, but $399 is a damn good price. Sony made the right decisions.

I also heard a rumor that Nintendo sold a game series to Sony. Not sure what it was or if it were confirmed.

Now all thats left is Nintendo tomorrow morning. I hope they can blow us away with games.

 

You know, for a long time I didn't feel any excitement towards any games coming out. I was just: "Eh..." For the new systems that are now out, mainly because I really found no reason to get them until way later. Especially with me being a huge PS2 fan and the PS3 having a six hundred dollar price tag I couldn't dream of touching and not touching the Xbox. But now, I find myself actually looking forward to PS4, I came in here thinking: "Well, PS4 couldn't do as bad as One." And they blew me away completely.

Great work, Sony... You earned this.

I am sold on the Playstation 4. Screw the Xbox One. E3 was their chance and the only thing that I want from them is Dead Rising 3...kinda.

 

Welp, I'm completely sold on the PS4 now. I was gonna wait a year or so for the price to come down but at £350 you can't go wrong.

 

Pre ordered the PS4 straight after the price announcement.

For a brief assessment from me (from worst to best):

Microsoft (C+)
Ubisoft (C+)
EA (B-)
Sony (A-)

Ha, they had a really bad start honestly, talking about already revealed games without much added on, PS3 focus which wasn't bad but just not great and talking about movie and music services was just, bleh. Everything else was ACE!

This is interesting, I heard that all the games Xbox showed was never shown for Sony because Microsoft paid them not to do it.

And they STILL won E3. That is a massive tip of my hat to them.

Also heard that Killer Instinct is F2P, BUT you only have one character available to you, the rest you have to pay for.

That is wrong... Just... Wrong... I grew up on Killer Instinct, and though I won't rush out and get it, I still am facepalming at this.

 

F2P means "free to play." So I guess you pay for the characters you like, and that's how they make their wage. Still, if that's true, it's stupid as hell, and probably not gonna work.

That was a knee-jerk reaction from me. Still.... Why? Why do that? It is WRONG. Killer Instinct has a huge fan base, and people would be scrambling to get it, now it's pay for every character. Why....?

Oh yeah, and another rumor: You need Gold $60 a year, for Netflix.

So, that Nintendo Direct was good. MarioKart, Super Mario, those were to be expected. X though caught me off guard and it looks really good. Then they gave me Smash Bros. and said Megaman was playbale. I nearly screamed from joy.

 

That's how the 360 works too. You'd think they would have learned from people actively saying so that it's pants-on-head retarded. No one's gonna pay for a Netflix subscription TWICE.
