That is true. I am slightly amazed they haven't appeared. Usually they show a game at one of the Console conferences. I guess they could show something entirely new at Nintendo's, but I don't really see that happening unless they announce Final Fantasy XV as a WiiU exclusive which is another big doubt.

EA talked almost completely about stuff already released and about new DLCs or add ons that would come to games, apart from the announcement of a Need for Speed and a Medal of Honour game. Boring as hell for the majority.

 

It's EA. What'd you expect, a game that wasn't Madden or some other sports game? Please, they've been doing Madden for years, I doubt they'll stop any time soon...which they should some time soon

 

Meh. Sports games i'm bored of. American sports games, no interest what so ever.

I thought they might atleast announce more high end games and not bother with talking about already released ones.

 

Just be glad EA doesn't have any part in Kingdom Hearts. Otherwise we'd end up with a Kingdom Hearts football. That would just be dumb.

I think seeing that Halo 4 trailer though made me almost want to buy it. I'm not much of a halo fan, but that actually looked pretty good.

Meh, I'm disappointed, Nintendo spent way too much time on casual games. Ah well, there's always the 3DS conference tomorrow to look forward to.

Once again, nothing. Lets hope Day 3 will be better.

 

Nintendo spent too much time focusing on the Mario franchise in general. I felt nothing diverse or new, but a lot of what I've come to expect from Mario, a platforming game, which we saw tons of.

This year was a bit of a drag, I liked last year.

 

Just watched Sony's conference:

Not really all that disappointed. Annoyed through the whole show by their usual arrogance (I get that the show is meant for investors, not gamers, but it is really annoying to hear them talk about how they have such great features that no one else has..... when the XBox does practically everything that the PS3 does), but at least, unlike Microsoft, they understood that gamers do watch the show and actually showed off gameplay footage. Assassin's Creed III looks great, Far Cry 3 looks surprisingly interesting and The Last of Us looks good, even if it is clear that Naughty Dog is being a bit lazy because it looks to play just like Uncharted. Playstation All Stars still looks like the Smash Bros rip off it is (not saying that its going to suck because of it, just that I'm not really interested, besides, cross-platform saves may be pointless, but cross-platform multiplayer is actually really nice) and Wonderbook looks like neat tech, but has an obvious casual target. The Vita being used as a tablet controller is cool.... too bad the thing is $250 and the feature is a blatant attempt to steal the Wii U's thunder. Like with Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, I'll really only care if I ever get a Vita.
