E3 2011

Oh yeah, I think the Xperia Play release will have a demo at E3. (It's Xperia, right? Whatever, the PSP phone)​

 

This isn't confirmed yet but..........

 

The logo looks a bit faked to me, tbh.

 

It does to me too, but the creator of Super Smash Bros said that he wants to release one game per system, so with the information about Nintendo's next system, maybe we could get some information on the next game too. Even if we don't, we should all count on another game.

 

Well, yeah, of course there's gonna be one.

Just finished watching Microsofts E3, not as bad as 2010, but still meh, I am getting so tired of Kinect, I just want it to die, and I hope to god that Mass Effect 3 with Kinect is optional. And god damn it, why the **** do we need Halo 4? Its not being made by Bungi now, and is now 100% owned by Microsoft. I just really feel pissed off right now, Sony or Nintendo, you better make me happy.

 

They had some cool games, Mass Effect 3 and Tomb Raider were my fav. Mass Effect 3's use kinect is cool - commanding team mates, and what ability they use with voice control. It's pretty impressive. And Tomb Raider looks amazing. I was looking forward to it but it looks so much better than I thought.

 

Tomb Raider looked really good. I might actually get it this time around.

I also may be one of the few people who actually likes the new character design or Lara Croft.

 

I will admit that those are cool, but still I don't know if you are FORCED to have Kinect in order to play ME3, I do not plan on getting a Kinect and I seriously doubt I ever will, I don't hate it, its just that the Kinect is not in my taste, I just want GAMES, now soon all 360 games will be on Kinect, seriously, what the ****? And Tomb Raider looks incredible, one of the games I'm most excited for, but still, Halo 4? Why? I thought the series ended fine after 3, I can understand the Combat Evolved remake, but now this is just milking the franchise, just let it end Microsoft! Bungie already said they are DONE with Halo, god, I know I'm gonna get alot of hate for this.......

 

Seriously I was shocked when she fell on that pole and pulled it out. I'm gonna feel so bad for her when playing, but love it at the same time. xD

I love her new look. She's more human this time round, and she actually looks great. Much better than her super human/model look.

that would be the worst game to play. Why would they make it that you actually have to run to make the computer run? That's basically just another exercise game.

 

For starters, no, Mass Effect 3 will be playable without a Kinect. It's labelled as 'support' meaning optional. Mainly becuase the PC and PS3 is being designed along with the Xbox 360 version.

I have to admit that it seems Kinect is almost an necessity for an Xbox360 owner now that they've announced the compatability with mainstream games. I wouldn't mind I guess if the price wasn't so steep and the actual controlling of it was more applicable. Still the gaming line up was pretty solid, even though 90% of the games weren't 360 exclusive or hardcore there's some stuff I love.

Like PaW said, it only supports it. They wouldn't sell as many if that were the case.

Halo 4 isn't done by Bungie, it's done by 343 Industries. But there is that Halo Anniversary.

That was the worse act I've ever seen. Some of the speeches were good, but for the smaller games they were horrible.

Yeah, a price reduction would've been nice. xD

 

give it about 10 years when they make a newer attachment for the 360. I'm pretty sure it'll go down then

 

Microsoft's press conference was kinda just a tad bit focused on Kinect maybe. Other than that it had one of my favourite developer of all time up on stage, Tim Schafer who was presenting... a Sesame Street game? Heck yeah. I wish I was Tim Schafer's daughter.

Their conference could have been amazing if not so centered on Kinect, still not that bad though. Looking forward to seeing what Sony and Nintendo will show.

 

The Microsoft conference was terrible. 80% percent of it was Kinect and the remaining percent was Halo. They didn't show anything interesting and the games that were revealed were games I already knew about.

Sony and Nintendo are the only shows to look forward to this E3.

Yeah it was underwhelming, though once again I was taken in by the kid games like Disney Adventures and Sesame Streets: Once Upon A Monster. I felt the same way about Kinectimals.
Sony and Nintendo can easily beat them this year. And this is coming from a nig Xbox 360 fan.

 

If anyone has all the details or can provide me them, I'll edit the first page. There is going to be a couple of mini podcasts just to talk about the conferences. so I will update with that as well.

I was really intrigued with Tomb Raider, ME3, Halo 4 and Old Republic. Those are the ones that got my attention
