E3 2011

From how the article made it sound, if SE gets into money trouble, just remake a FF title.

It sounds a bit too far-fetched for them to just remake something like that.

Watch it be an HD remake on FFX or something.

 

I wouldn't say no to that since it's one of my favs, but FFVII still sells pretty well today.

 

If it is an FFVII remake, then they'll release it in 2012 to comply witht he 15th anniversary. If it were me, that's where I'd end the compilation of FFVII, where it started with FFVII. Also, I would quite like to see at least some info on VS and XIII-2. However, if I'm right, then that'll be awesome, and maybe they can fix Magic Defense so it isn't bugged like in the original game ¬.¬.

 

I feel like this is turning into a mainly Square-Enix section thread with talk about a FF remake, but it's relevant to this thread none the less.

Many people have brought up things I didn't think of what might be talked about more at E3 such as Beyond Good And Evil 2, GTA5, Star Wars: The Old Republic. I can't wait to hear some of the surprises that might happen now.

I dunno if this is relevant to anyone or anything, or if anyone has said this anywhere else, but Ubisoft have said that on Sunday/Monday some time (I'll get back with a time) they will have some live AC:R stuff on their youtube channel from their E3 section.

I'm hoping to see something, anything at all really, about Agent. I wouldn't mind even some CGI teaser trailer or something of the likes, I just want something. Considering who's making it I'm looking forward to see how they will handle it.

Other than that I'm looking forward to seeing some Sony games, like Uncharted 3, Last Guardian, and hopefully they will announce some new games (Sly 4 *cough cough*). And last, but not least; I'm hoping to see something of Versus XIII, like maybe a release date? That would be pretty nice.

Looking forward to the show, hopefully I won't get as disappointed as I get pretty much every year :b

I saw that just a tad bit after I posted that, it's a shame really. Hopefully we'll hear more about that when TGS comes around in September, though. There has to be some more news on that game soon.

Just watched the Konami conference, the Fox-engine is looking pretty good, I wonder what they will be using it for later. One thing is for sure, it looks like it'd fit MGS games pretty darned well.

 

I'm starting to think that FFvXIII is the new Duke Nukem Forever since its the vanity project of the person in charge (seriously, anyone else get the feeling that Nomura's got a serious ego problem with this game?) and we'd gone years between the early trailers and the first gameplay footage.

 

On The French SquareEnix Members Forum there' s a "what kind of info do you expect from E3 ?" topic, dunno if such a thing was created on the US SEMembers site. I asked for a VsXIII release date amongst other things, just to be sure it will indeed be released eventually. I' m far from being the only one asking for that. ^^
I' m not holding my breath for an answer though, I highly doubt the guys from SE France are able to give us any info that wasn' t planned to be revealed worldwide by SE Japan. Hell, I' m not even sure anyone from SE Japan will read any of our questions, none of the questions that the FFIV Complete Collection developers ended up answering were from the French forum ...

 

I'm looking foward to a lot of things at E3 this year. I was looking especially forward to Kingdom Hearts 3D, but that's not happening so...

I'm also looking a bit forward to VsXIII and Rage... There's more, but I can't think of all of that right now... >_>

 

I'm hoping En Masse has a release date for NA or EU Tera Online at E3 but we'll see. Other than that, vsXIII and mw3 news I guess.

 

Been wanting info on SFXT and 3S:OE for ages... we'll see how much Capcom releases I suppose.

Nope, there just gonna announce another Spin off, ****ing Square, enough with the spin offs!

 

Square listen to their fans and they know that we're getting a bit sick of the spin offs.

 

Minecraft? All I know is that Notch is going to E3. Not much info can be said about it other than...bug fixes, new mobs and new items.

But yea, looking forward to the ME3, Uncharted 3, and Square info that'll be released. Also NGP/other Sony announcements.​

 

Hey who knows maybe Notch could be announcing a console version of Minecraft, he is already releasing it for androids so who know?
