I have read the first 2 books and seen some of one of the movie. I hope to read a few more before Summer is over.

Yeah. Theres not like any resent ones but I think they redid the first one or something I can't remember.

 

What's Dune? I've never heard of it.

 

It's about these people that try to create a person they call umm i forgot. But it's a genetic process that took thousands of years. (takes place in future) eventually they do it. pretty much some people can see the future but theres like a thing they can't see or something. But the person they would create would. Which turns out to be the main character and loads of other stuff really hard to describe. It came out a long time ago but it's really good.

Dune, AKA Arrakis is a world under war, there are many fighting houses all of which re under The Empoeror. Who controls the Spice. And who controls the Spice controls the Universe, the Fremen, or sandmen, and those of house Atreides are trying to regain planet arrakis, or Dune, to restore it to its former beauty. Fremen, can be found by their pure blue eyes, ad there is one atreides with those eyes, who is destined to overthrow the Emperor.

There are also Beasts called Worms, which quite literally are giant worms, they ccan small 50 harvesters and 100 people in one swallow and they hunt under the ground, but when caught they can be ridden on as transport... -goes off into 5 hour explanation of Dune-
