Driving!

i have a permit so i have to drive with an adult....if i can remember. i just stick my cousin mike in the passenger seat and we're off at 70mph in a 40mph zone. im totally asking for a ticket.

 

I'm learning to drive at the moment, and i love it

Actually the driving age in the UK is 17

 

I'm pretty sure they're changing it to 18, Darkandroid.

 

I can't yet cuz im only 13, and I don't want to drive when im the right age cuz I would problly crash! xD

 

dude thats the age that anybody can drive unless you drope out of highschool you have to wait till your 18 to get your license but regular is 16

 

Well it must be new, cos it doesn't affect me now, lucky i avoided the law XD

 

first time i went out on the road i almost crashed into a telephone pole but i dident ...... there is still next time....

 

I'm not gonna get a permint till 3 years. No, I'm not 13.

 

Lol, well counting up everyone who's posted, there are only 2 other people besides myself that can drive here (I'm also 18.) It's this way. Driving roxks, crashing sucks, freedom rocks, gas money sucks, doing more stuff rocks, girlfriends mom being psycho and not letting her ride in a car with you really really sucks.

I agree. There's also a thrill about driving that you lose over time as you get used to it. I don't consider it 'fun' anymore, but I love driving as an escape from everyday life to go where I please.
Also, the saying "you don't know what you've got til its gone" is very true. Now I have to take the transit bus all around university - how I miss my parent's car so much!

 

WOOHOO. have a great time driving!! i can't wait till i can drive and go to the beach and disneyland like every day haha.

oh and those rumers of kids born after like 92' or 93' or what not, are all fake. they say that each year but they're never true. they even said that to my class haha. i think they do that just to scare us. o.O

 

im 17 and i just now got my liscence cause i was too lazy to get it before. let me tell you, driving is definitely awesome because you do not need to rely on your parents or other people to take you places. it really makes things easier.

You'll be great at driving. I love going out and driving other around (even if my car lacks all street cred). Good luck to all you new and prospective drivers out there!

 

its great though when youve had a license for 2 years and all you do is try to hitch a ride from someone else. (saves gas! XP)

 

problem is all i have to drive is this huge ugly van that i have to share w/ my mom XP

 

vans are awesome! you can go from 0 to 60 in like...i mean theyre really smooth. XP

 

Van sounds good to me! Better than a 17 year old Nissan Sunny (yes thats what I drive!). XP
