Kingdom Hearts II Drive Forms in KHII

Has anybody tried to enter a drive form when on a planet that your body is changed, like "the lionking" world.

 

Hmm... Never tried that. Probably cuz I don't use drive forms that much but I'm pretty sure you can't use drive forms in worlds where sora switches forms.

 

I think they might be disabled in Pride Lands, actually.

But I know that in Halloweentown the little thing on Sora's head changes a bit. In Space Paranoids the color of your suit changes. Atlantica has no battling, but it'd be interesting to see how/if Sora changed form there.

Sadly when I first went to 'The Pride Lands' I was like WTF!! Why won't Sora change into valor form then I realised duhh Sora is a lion and he can't hold 2 keyblades in his mouth at once lol.

 

Yeah, it would be cool to see a Valor lion cub xD I have tried but it's all chained up like in Olympus Coliseum at the start. If it did work though, then how would they show the different forms for lion Sora? Would they just put the insigna of each form on his shoulder or something? It works in all the other worlds, Pride lands just likes to be different.

 

I'm pretty sure that you can't enter Drive Form in the Pride Lands, they probably dind't design that far ahead, they probably thought about it, but no designs...

 

yeah, in speical worlds, when sora's body is temperarorly changed, you can't use Drive, like in Trons world...

 

No, you can do it in Space Paranoids and worlds like that. The thing about Pride Lands is that Lion Form is programmed to count as a drive form but with the revert button removed.

 

well that makes sence. but i wish that you could. because it would look awsome.

 

Maybe they will in later games, that is if they keep the drive gauge and you go back to Pride lands (or some place similar). I think the reason they didn't do it is because lion Sora couldn't hold 2 keyblades and he couldn't revert back to being human, plus, as someone stated, it sort of counts as a drive form. However, I'm sure they could get around this to make it more interesting. For example, just have the keyblades float like in final form, but Wisdom could work normally. I don't know, it probably won't happen, it's just a case of possibility.

 

How about one in the mouth, one held by the tail?
We know Lion Sora is capable of holding the keyblade by the tail from when he unlocks the path in the Pride Lands after the boss.

 

That's true, I never thought of that. So it could work quite easily. I can imagine it would be quite interesting to see a Lion Sora gliding around in Wisdom form xD I do hope they do this if you return to the Pride Lands.

 

and mabey when he changes, he could become an adult lion, instead of a lion cub, that way there is more of a distinction.

 

No, they couldn't. They were already dying off of space and time left, creating every form for just a new world that wouldn't even make sense to have any forms would be a waste of time. That's like having a different five set of drive forms for every world.

 

but it wouldn't be for everyworld, it would only be for special worlds that already change, then the changes in drive could be minimul, like in the tron world, or in holloween town.
