Drinking Age lowered to 18

I'm not really sure on this one. The kids that are 18 and can drink RESPONSIBLEY are far and few in my area, but a lot of them drink anyway. :/

I wouldn't mind it being lowered, though. x) I like drinking.

 

Well 18 is the drinking limit in my country so I thinkit's fine because everyone breaks the rules and IMO 21 is a silly age to have as a drinking limit (America is one of the worst countries with booze control and everyone knows when a rule is made teen's will break it).

I'm 15 and know poeple younger than me who get drunk EVERY saturday and they live a fine life (they have their limits and stop after an hour and don't mix the drinks with anyhting but cola and pop).

 

So I'm guessing it must be 21 in the US (or at least some states) cos it's 18 here in the UK.

Yeah but just wait until some of them get older.

Alcohol use is somewhat like the gun issue in my opinion. Being a responsible user is the main concern.

the younger people I know have gotten into their drinking routine for about a year and a half now and none of them seem worse off (unless you count them sticking their tongues down other peoples throats who they normally wouldn't while sober a problem).

But I live in the UK and we've made it 18 most likely to give some lee way for it (if you ban it to a high age it isn't going to sit nicely with the hormonal teenagers at all). but if it got lowered I think teens would be a lot happier and think they may as well wait because 18 doesn't seem far off while 21 does...

...IMO at least.
