Old thread's been dead for about a year, so... I absolutely love this band. Everything about them is amazing, albeit LaBrie's voice sometimes doesn't sync very well with the instrumentals. Anyone else a fan?
I quote my friend "Dream Theater is the biggest band nobody knows about". They're pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of them but I like a few of their songs.
I had an obsession with them last month/earlier this month. Octavarium is my favorite song, but um... They were in Rock Band 2, so a lot of people most likely know about them now.
Don't know, it never really sat well with me. I guess its because its their one song that managed to become a hit, despite it being nothing special or noteworthy, especially with songs like "Under a Glass Moon" and "Metropolis Pt 1" on the same album.
dream theater is defently a great band. i'd agree that almost no one's heard of them too, sadly. personally i love the Scenes From A Memory cd, esspically the song Strang Deja Vu.
My favorite album would have to be Octavarium, though I've heard great things about Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence.
