Hey everyone. It's about that time where we should do a full recap of Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance during the Tokyo Game Show.
Before we start looking back at the information we've received; I also wanted to share a theory. If you agree or disagree, feel free to make your point on the discussion. Also feel free to add your own theory. Please note this thread will contain a number of spoilers if you haven't played Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded.

Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance seems to have a very confusing plot. Usually this is the case with all titles from the series, but this time there's something really special about this new Kingdom Hearts title. The first Kingdom Hearts linked to "Ansem". As we moved on between the Crossroads in Chain of memories we were curious of the organization and Namine (who held such power over Sora's memories). Moving forward into the series; In Kingdom Hearts II we learned about the nobodies and that the real Ansem was only a fraud. It was the one and only Xehanort that links back to the past. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days we found out who Xion was and how she became number 14; along with the powerful relationship between Roxas, Axel and Xion. In time, Birth by Sleep was released and we were taken back in time (about ten years before the first Kingdom Hearts). Sora wasn't the only keyblade wielder. It all started with Aqua, Ven and Terra. Thus we've learned that Xehanort (the old man) was responsible for Kingdom Hearts and he was indeed the one who impacted many worlds with Vanitas (apprentice). Finally, Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded was released half a year ago. It was the perfect link between the letter that Sora received in the end of Kingdom Hearts II that pieced the puzzle together for Mickey and Yen Sid.
...And now there is Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance. What makes this title so different? Is Sora and Riku training to become the official keyblade wielders? What does sleep have to do with Dream Drop Distance because the title and "sleep" doesn't have anything to do with each other. Now when I think of Dream Drop Distance I think of "bold action" because Nomura has said it so many times. At any rate, I was putting it together. "Sleep" right now is the only thing I can comprehend. FACT. Ven is sleeping. What if this was a way to save Ven or perhaps communicate with Sora in regards to Aqua and Terra. Could this be a piece to the puzzle? At the end of Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded - it was Mickey and Yen Sid who learned where Ven's whereabouts. Could it be possible that my future Kingdom Hearts videos above (which I made made) really link to the future of the new title from the series? The link remains with the "keyhole of sleep". That's the mystery.
The Tokyo Game Show recap is coming up later tonight! Post your thoughts now KHV.
