Dream Drop Distance: Promotional Video Released & KHV Fandub Production

    As we mentioned earlier, Nomura confirmed that an eight minute trailer from Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance would appear at the Jump Festa event. Along with appearing at the event, the trailer was also planned to release as soon as the gaming event came to a close. That day has came! Square Enix's YouTube channel has uploaded the trailer. There's no doubt in my mind that you too will also begin to feel chills from this trailer when watching it - especially the ending. Connections to Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep! It all stats with a ____

    As for the fandub production, I'm bringing it back! I'm taking auditions from the following characters in the promotional video. As Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance releases, we are looking to dub the newest trailer that premiered from Jump Festa 2012 in English.

    Guidelines:
    If you're interested in voicing a character, email me at cgnetproductions@aol.com. Include the lines below of the character(s) that you are auditioning for as well as your first name and username. Save lines as this following example. Formats must be sent in wav or mp3 format (username_character_numberline.mp3). You must send me at least two or three lines for audition so I can judge.

    Deadline:
    The deadline for auditions will close on December 31st 2011. The dubbed trailer will be set to release from us between January 1-3, 2012.

    Characters:
    Right now, we have all roles opened. Sora, Axel, Riku and Mickey are potentially already picked, but if auditions are better than we will consider.

    Edit: Neku will be voiced by myself. Auditions have closed for him.

    Sora: This is… (pause) Traverse Town?
    Sora: Huh, my clothing changed!

    Riku: This is… (pause) Traverse Town?
    Riku: My clothes changed…

    Joshua: It appears this world is just like ours, seemingly split into two parts.
    Joshua: One could say it seems the same but it’s a totally different world… Get it?

    Shiki: You’ll protect little ol’ me, won’t you? Mr. Knight?
    Shiki: Though I’d be in serious trouble if I returned…

    Mickey: Maleficent! What in the world do you want?
    Mickey: What do you want with him?

    Maleficent: I’ve spoken before with him, about the seven pure lights that exist in worlds. It’s said if you possess those seven lights, then the world is yours.
    Maleficent: You know of Xehanort, don’t you?

    Pinocchio: Huh? Oh no, what happened to my nose!
    Pinocchio: I didn’t lie! Someone in a black coat said to play with Sora here!

    Jiminy: You must have told a lie to make it grow like that!

    Frollo: You are not to leave this place. This is the only safe place for you…
    Frollo: Thanks to you, Captain Phoebus

    Rhyme: It doesn’t bother me at all! My memories, they’ll come back instantly if there’s a chance!

    Beat: Come on out, Dream Eaters!

    Axel: What a drag. I’ve been looking for you. I’m the one who always gets stuck doing the dirty jobs.*
    Axel: My name is Lea, got it memorized?

    Phoebus: Frollo and his minions are coming. You must prepare to leave here at once!

    Xemnas: Even within a heartless doll, a heart resides…?

    Terranort: Aren’t there hearts confined within you too?

    Young Terranort and Vanitas: Hearts other than your own!

    YenSid: Master Xehanort was transformed into the figure of a talented Keyblade Master, and he stood in the way of those who used the Keyblade to safeguard the light, however it is not over yet…

      I never thought many characters would be back like that. And all of sudden and with various mysteries. I wonder what Riku will do with Data-Riku and what the younger Xemnas is. And I can't forget Axel, Xion and Roxas. And The World Ends With You's characters too!

      Holy crap. More Tron! I swear I was going to fall off my chair during 4:45-5:23..Yeah, I got too excited, Kairi look's a bit strange but eh whatever, still look's amazing. I'm so excited for this now, at first it really didn't interest me but now I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for the update, Mike.

      O.O wow..... so it looks like this game has its own CG opening? Another KH game i wont be able to play =( Coded, 358/2 Days, BBS, and now this so upsetting lol. I couldnt understand a word they were saying but i understand that this looks epic!

      Yea, I can't wait... That mini game in Tron's world seems like the one in KHII, but who knows? Maybe it is better! xD

      There literally no positive words that can truly capture my true excitement here. I am literally crying.

      So much good stuff, and young Xehanort.... **** man, ****! Ah my goodness, I am so amazed by this game, It may be the best one yet... If it were on PSP, or PS3, I'd probably feel a little better given they have more memory? I think the 3DS is about the equivalent to the PSP in regards to processing... That may be the only downfall with having this vast game on a somewhat limited console.

      This trailer has physically brought me to tears of happiness. I was expecting something crappy, but this blew me out of the water. Shiki and Rhyme look amazing, they really make the 2D to 3D Conversion well. Seeing all those scenes in CG is just....awesome.

      Move aside Type-0, I have my new all time favourite trailer. My body is now ready.

      This looks very, very cool. The beginning few seconds alone latched right onto my attention. My smile was biggest when I heard the beginning of the Simple and Clean Orchestra (I noticed that all the better games (in my opinion) have Simple and Clean). I also really, really need to play The World Ends With You before I play this game; I'll look for it for Christmas. To me, it looks like they're going into the past. Not necessary time travel, but more of a pensive-like thing from the Harry Potter series. They're looking into the past, but they can also mess around with it. That makes a lot of sense to me, especially seeing that Axel is going to be in the game (more for the fan girls than actually needed character). Well, I'm excited anyway!

      NOW THAT IS A GAME PROMOTION!!!!!!! Square should be proud of themselves. Going all out on CGI effects, adding enormous amounts of length and detail, but still ensuring it doesn't spoil. When I saw Axel in Disney though I lost it.

      My god, that promotional video was beautiful.

      I'm glad that they're finally putting more CGI cutscenes into the game itself and not just in the opening and ending FMVs. I just hope that the game turns out to be as great as we're all expecting.

      That was very good ^^ I am incredibly excited! Now I have to get a 3DS! XD I look forward to seeing what Axel has to do with it all as well. As for the fandub, I may try my hand at it but I would have to bring out my best man voice xD

      Eureka, I have found my reason for living again, ha!

      I can now comprehend the whole Dream aspect of KH3D now. Characters, from the past, the present, the future, characters never seen, may never see again, stories untold, a past discovered, my god this will be like the ultimate cameo appearance for every possible character in the KH univers, you've got Axel, Xemnas, Old and young Xehanort, Vanitas, and so many more from all over the place.

      THe scale of this went up 7 notches on my list.

      Not really. You have to remember that with CGI cutscenes, the characters are bound to look more realistic. Besides that, the KHII Secret Ending already had him in CGI.
