Dream Drop Distance: High ratings from Famitsu, new scans

    This week's issue of Famitsu included the rating for Dream Drop Distance, which will release next week in Japan. Reviewers gave the game 10, 9, 10, and 9 as scores, resulting in the cumulative 38/40--which is quite high! For a point of comparison, Famitsu gave Birth by Sleep a 37/40 and 358/2 Days a 36/40. So really it's just a point or two higher than previous titles, but still, good news!

      Woah, high ratings. I'm expecting alot from DDD, haha.

      The Scans are also interesting. This one especially caught my attention, no idea why though. Sora and Riku on Geppetto and Pinocchio's escape boat, hmm.

      I think that may, actually, be the raft from Destiny Islands? I can see why you'd think it's Gepetto's (Jiminy is right there) but I think it's separate from the Jiminy render. Could go either way, though.

      I always wondered, if they didn't teleport to their seat, how would they get up there? going up Parkour style?
      I can't believe it got a higher score than Birth by Sleep. Now I'm really anxious to play.

      I'd laugh my head off if there's a secret elevator for the really high chairs, and the lower peons are forced to stand on each other's shoulders...
      Yeah, seeing it rated higher than Birth By Sleep makes me want it all the more.

      The one with Mickey, Riku and Sora, I really liked ir. 38/40 looks pretty high; no doubt it will be a great game!

      That might be Destiny Islands, because it has Sora and Riku as their 14 and 15 year old selves in their old clothes. Seems most likely to be Destiny Islands
