Drama!

Chapter 1

“ummm what?â€​

I’ve lived in the same town my whole life, it was a small Oregon town, total population 9,000. Boring right? I know. So when my mom came up to my room in early June with news that literally changed my world. I was, to say the least, shocked.“Were moving!†she said, my jaw just about fell to the floor.
“Ummm what?†that was all I could say, apparently my father had taken a job with some big law firm down in California.
“oh Emmett, its only 7 hours south of here!, so you can drive up some weekends if you really miss your friends so muchâ€, apparently she had read my face correctly because it went from shocked to worried.
“Mom! it’s the summer! And you throw this at me now! Gees thanks not for telling me a few weeks ago, at least then I could have told all my friends made some more memori-†but I couldn’t finish the sentence, it was too painful, I was leavening. My family was going to be going to a Californian city and that’s were I would spend the last town years of my high school life, its some stuck up rich Californian high school. Great I thought, now I’m going have to act like I have a stick up my ass.
The next 2 months went by to fast, after telling my friends, and having to go thought the crying, I spent almost every single day with them, and my parents didn’t object. I think it was there ‘Sympathy†gift. My friends gave me tips about how to act in the big city, “first, u need a tan†so, we went to the beach and laid in the sun for hours talking and reminiscing about the good old days. It was easy for me to tan, I had skin that was like a sponge for the suns ray, I could keep a tan well into the winter months, and my hair was always short and naturally puffy.
In the weeks leading up to the big move I because more worried about my looks, my skin was ok, I guess. My body, however was the issue, I wasn’t ‘fit’. I was chubby but my friends said it was a cute chubby, that doesn’t look fat, more like your filled out.
Then, it was the week of the move I spent as much time with my friends as I could, giving people my number, face book and anything else that they would need to get a hold of me, but some how, I felt like I was never going to see them again, and if I would, it wouldn’t be the same …ever

Chapter 2

“Excuse me!, I’m so sorryâ€​

After the longest and hardest seven hours of my life, we finally reached our new house, to my relief, it was beautiful. It was an old Victorian house, all white and my room had a balcony that looked out on onto the down which was further down the hill. At night if u squinted your eyes all the lights looked like stars.

School started the next week, and that was what I was dreading.

I arrived early and I choice a simple green sweatshirt and blue jeans, with my puffy brown hair was as puffy as ever. The first bell rang at eight o’clock sharp, and so I walked calmly to my first class, US Lit. good I love reading, maybe if I’m lucky ill have a seat in the back and the teacher wouldn’t introduce me to the whole class, I wasn’t really that upset with being the center of attention, but not on the first day of a new school.
I found my seat, and sat down before most of the students got into the class, as they walked in I saw all different kinds of people, and watching all of them made me think of my old school, and how kids are not really that different from one town to the next, and that help me calm down a lot. I became a lot more comfortable a few who said down next to me, they asked who I was, and were I was from.

Then, he walked in

He had short brown hair, that looked like if it was longer, it would be curly, he was taller then me, big broad shoulders and wearing a green sports jacket with white strips down the arms, he sat behind me two seats back, I could tell my face turned red when he walked by. The teacher did call me up the front. Just like I had dreaded, he introduced me to the class, and as I looked back at all the smiling faces, I looked and the guy who sat two seats behind me, mostly to see if he was looking up at me, and he was.
Our eyes met, his big brown eyes met my blue eyes, and I felt my face get very red, he must have notice my redness, because a smile grew wide on his face, I about died right there. I hurried back to my seat and tried not to think about him, but I could feel his eyes on the back of me neck, I didn’t remember much during the teachers lectures about what the class was going to be like this year and school rules and stuff like that, all I could think about was him.
The bell rang after it struck nine, I gathered my things, and walked through the door, to my locker, wondering if that guy was following. But I didn’t dare look back. On my way to my locker I walked past a sign that caught my eye.

AUDITIONS FOR THE FALL MUSICAL

FOOTLOOSE

AUDITIONS SEPTEMBER 17TH
7:00 IN THE AUDITORIUM

Noticing that there was a pile of them next to that sign I grabbed one and walked towards my locker with my face buried in the flyer, reading the plot summery, it sounded like a good play, I have done plays back in my old home town so this looks like fun.

CRASH!

My face hit something hard, and kind of warm, I started to fall to the floor, I was in a daze so I could think to break my fall, then a pair of warm strong hands grabbed me before I feel and pulled me close to keep me from falling.
“Excuse me!, I’m so sorry!†said a guy, his voice was so soft, but strong. Finally my vision cleared and I saw, that it was the guy from US Lit, my face went red, again.

“Hi my name is Wyatt†he said with a soft smile

Its official, I’ve died and gone to heaven​

Just a few spelling mistakes. Something about this story made me almost squeal like a pi- erm Like a girl.

Chapter 3

Chapter 3

“you want me to sit there?!â€

Say something, I told myself. He just kept smiling with those beautiful white teeth, and those dimples, and those eyes! I couldn’t…I cant…I have to.
“my…my name is Emmett†I said not looking at him but looking down at my shoes, I heard him chuckle, it was a deep chuckle.

“where are you headed?â€
“huh? Oh! What’s my next class?†I said sheepishly
“yeahâ€
“algebra 2†I bent down to pick up the notebooks that fell out of my hands during the collision.
“really? Mine too†he said helping me grab my things.
My body froze, he was in my next class. I was going to have to be in the same room with this guy? again?

He handed me the last of my things and offered to walk with me to math. I agreed, only because I didn’t want him to go away and I didn’t think I could remember where it was now. As we walked side by side, he started to ask me questions about me, I felt bad cause all I could do was nod ‘yes’ or ‘no’

“so you like this school?â€
“yes†at least now I did
“been in town long?â€
“noâ€
“you single?†now this question caught me off guard, why would he care? Was he teasing me, did he know I liked him? There was only one thing to do. answer.
“yesâ€

After the word had left my lips, I could have sworn, out of the corner of my eye,
I saw him smile

We walked the rest of the was to the math room in silence, when we finally reached the classroom, he walked to his seat and I walked to the teacher, gave the teacher the “new student†slip and he looked from the slip to me.
“well, I guess I’m going to have to give you a seat…how about next to…Wyatt over thereâ€

My head snapped over to Wyatt who was waving at me, the room was set up with tables and there were two students to a table, and Wyatt was all by himself. And I was to sit next to him.
“you want me to sit there?â€
I walked over and sat down next to Wyatt, he was smiling, I was blushing.

“well!†said Wyatt, “this is going to be funâ€
Yes, I thought to myself, yes it will be, and sat there and smiled.​

** just fyi, im typing this on word...then pasting it on here...so its typed up correctly on word...but i move it over and all the indents and crap are gone...not to mention the double line space, so im sorry about that**

Moving somewhere new must be hard.

yes this is my real boyfriend xD but! this isnt how we met, i just wanted to make a story about us, the people u will meet in the story are based of people in my life, but the story is fiction (but my boyfriend is even hotter in real life) xD

edit: since i have 2 people thus far that are like ODing on this i will try my best to post a new chapter every day...and then when school starts on the 5th...once every week, maybe too depends on my scheldual

Chapter 4

Chapter 4

“…Math Whiz”


The first few weeks of school went by amazingly fast, considering that all I did was go to school, do homework…and think about Wyatt. I had a total of 3 classes with him, US Lit, Math, and PE. It was odd, but my day went fast, until Wyatt was in the picture, then it just seemed to slow down and my whole world revolved around him. But I didn’t look forward to Math, even though I sat next to him it still sucked.
You see there are two things in this world I hate most, needles and math, I’m terrible at math. No matter how much time I study I still get terrible grades. But after sitting next to Wyatt, I discovered he was not only good looking but very smart.
“Wyatt, what’s the correct answer?” asked out math teacher, who was in the process of teaching us a complex way of doing an equation.
“the answer is 5x Sir, and -77y” he answered coolly.
“correct”
My head snapped from Wyatt to the board, then back to Wyatt.
He didn’t even use his calculator,
“great!” I thought to my self he’s a math whiz.
Then the teacher told us to work on our homework, Wyatt got straight to work, as I just sat there staring at the paper waiting for myself to understand, but I wasn’t coming, at all.
Wyatt seeing my distress, offered to help.
“you look lost” he said, I nodded, even after being around him for two weeks I still barely spoke around him. “what do you need help with?”
“everything” I said, “ I’m not good at math…at all”
He laughed, I blushed. “well then! I guess I’ve got a lot of work to do then”
For the next few days he explained everything that I had trouble with in more detail so I could understand it, and to my surprise I actually did understand it. Our first quiz came a few more days later, and right before the teacher gave us our test, Wyatt turned to me, and with his amazing smile said “don’t worry you’ll do great” and wink.
It took me 5 minuets to recover, then I started working on my quiz, and I actually understood it. I was so happy after, because I think I actually did a good job.
The next day we got our quizzes back, and I passed, Wyatt grabbed me into a one arm hug, “see I told you that you could do it” I just stood there and blushed.

It was the first time we voluntarily touch, and I loved it​

I'm like you, though the math teacher is the devil's match, I was doing really bad so the night before I asked someone to explain(not a super hot person with dating potential mind you) and I did good on my test.

Anyways...wait a sec....shouldn't that little hug raise a little suspicion?
