Caim was sick of hearing a stranger preach to him about his motives and walked over to him, ready to raise his blade against him. "Caim! Control yourself! He means no harm!" The dragon exclaimed. Caim had a very angry look on his face and took it out on a nearby dead body by running it through.

Personality: Angeal is honor bound and stays true to it. He also has a fondness for fairy folk and tends to be amused with what they say.
Background: Angeal's father died creating his sword and now he regards it with pride and says it's his families honor. His mother killed herself after Angeal left for war. Grief stricken and lost, Angeal found his way into the Goddess' Inner Sanctum of her Abbey. He pleaded with her to return the lives of his family but she could not. Angered, Angeal had run into a battle and after it ended, found his sword covered in blood. He'd stained his honor in blood. Returning to the Goddess, she offers him a place as her warrior before he can speak. Accepting, Angeal vowed not to let anything happen to her and to protect the seals.
Other: Angeal's favorite saying is: "Use brings about wear, tear and rust. And that's a real waste."

 

not far where the three stood, rain is fighting off a couple of empire troops. "hehe today were on a roll! Imagine it was like this everyday? she asked to her pegasus starlight who was right by her side fighting too. "in a way it would be good, I suppose" she replied

 

"The flying one is right."

 

"We're done here. We need to find the goddess. Now, If you would... Caim sent the thought to the dragon. She then let out a large burst of fire, tearing a hole in the wall, before Caim climbed onto her back. "We shall be on our way now. She said before taking off.

 

Angeal returned to the Abbey, battered and bruised, but alive. He never dragged his sword and it weighed him down. "Goddess Yggdrassiel....I've...fended off the army from your seal in the forest. But without aid, this will be tiresome."

"Yes...you're right... I'm so sorry Angeal. You do so much for me." he bowed his head without a word and Martel set a gentle hand on his chest, erasing his wounds and restoring his energy. "Please continue to fight for my and the planet's behalf." Her voice serene, and her green eyes gentle as a leaf. Though her hair was oddly green too and she did wear an awful lot of green robes....the green made her seem all that much more kind. But Angeal knew without a doubt that Martel held herself together by sheer willpower. The energy required to be Goddess and keep the seals in place was slowly ripping her apart.

 

"will this war ever end? I mean there are too many deaths because of it.." she asked.killing off the last soldier." I guess it won't..well by the looks of it it'll be a never ending war. But whenever there's bad there's always good to stop it. As a resault things will be neutral." she answered while continuing to walk.

 

Caim and the dragon flew overhead of Rain, paying them no mind as they passed. "Do you even have any idea who the current goddess is or what she looks like? The dragon asked him. Caim let out a silent sigh "No, no i don't. Our best bet would be to check near the seals." Caim thought.

 

Martel hesitated when Angeal turned on his heel and started to leave, "You're going....again? Is a seal in danger?" He shook his head and she waited. "I mearly wanted to check up on how the seal in the forest is doing. After I left...I was too wounded to see it very well. I'll be back before you know it." She gave a small wave, "Be careful...Angeal....my Hero."

 

"The closest seal would be the one in the forest." The dragon said to her rider. "Alright. I hate fairies." Caim said mentally. "They watch over the forest seal, we will surely encounter some." She said, flying off toward the forest which housed the seal.

 

Angeal relished the feel of the wind on his arms and the fair folk's whispered words about his hair. A few of them liked it. For some reason. "It's nice...to see the forest without blood covering it. The Goddess works in many mysterious ways." He continued until he reached the seal. A larger than normal tree surrounded by beautiful white flowers. "Beauty and perfection...always. Just like M-- Yggrassiel." He stopped himself from calling the Goddess by her first name. It was odd to say it aloud.

 

From their high altitude, Caim and the dragon could see a massive imperial force approaching, not a mile away. "It would seem they have called out their flyng war machine.s" The dragon said as a large blimp armed with turrets and cannons came into veiw. "The fairies don't stand a chance. it would be over within 30 minutes and the seal would be lost." She said assessing the situation. Caim grinned sadistically, as was common practice for him before going into battle. "Well then, its a good thing we're here." Caim said in their minds.

 

While all this has been happening, Kenna was doing all she could to manipulate her smoke in the flying metal beasts to choke the humans within. She knew their intent was for the seal, and she would take it to the Goddess if matters got too bad. She could only cloud the forest seal with as much illusion smoke as possible... But smoke was still smoke, and can't beat a rock.

 

The blimps were firing everything the had at her, but with the smoke in the humans' eyes it was hard to aim, so they fired blindly and hoped the hit her. Soon after this had been going on for some time, several more came to back the first one up. The ground troops made their advance as well. "It would seem a fairy has already met them on the battlefield, it would only take one lucky shot to finish her." Said the dragon fling off toward the blimp. As she reached it, she let out a large burst of fire, engulfing the cloth that withheld the air which kept it afloat in crimson flame, then moved to the next blimp, throwing a ball of flame at the ground along the way.

 

Kenna watched the dragon, sucking in the smoke and smiling as some harsher chemicals lingered it. Re-use it, always a good idea. She headed over to the other flying metal beasts. She gassed them more, including some of the hazardous smoke from before. She seemed to be the only one among her kin doing any real damage.

 

The flying machines crashed one after another, but more kept coming. "How many of them are there?!" Asked the dragon. By this time the ground troops had readied the catapults and took aim for the fairy first to keep her from blinding their sights. They released it and a two ton hunk of rock flew directly for Kenna.

 

Kenna swiftly ducked below into the trees, sending out a blanket of smoke, her size as small as a mouse. She really could only blind or choke, someone stronger would have to take the lead soon, she couldn't hold them off forever. "Dragon!" Her voice echoed, female, her slight pudginess evident even in her voice, but other characteristics were blocked out by hysteria to fully listen to. "Help!" she cried with true intent.

 

The dragon heard her cries for help and released a ball of flame at the rock hurtling towards her. It struck and knocked the rock just enough off course to miss her. "We must destroy those catapults!" The dragon shouted.

 

"Then I may only Blind them! It will buy you time!" And down Kenna went again, blinding only those with ranged weapons, shrinking her form to the size of a butterfly as she expelled more smoke, even though she already had gotten a heaping dose of it from the Dragon's fireball. She could only pray to her young leafy goddess that this all went well.

 

The dragon used the distraction she had created to nosedive straight into the hoarde, knocking several down as she landed. Caim immediatley jumped down off of her and began slashing and ctting the imperial soldiers. even as a group they couldn't even strike before being cut down let alone hit him. within minutes no less than fourty soldiers had fallen to his sword, and Caim was thoroughly enjoying each kill.
