It is an ancient time where dragons and fairies still roam the world. Two great powers, the Union, and the Empire struggle in a bloody war for control of a goddess who protects the harmony of the world

The Seals: Three seals help hold the world in place. One of the desert, one of the Ocean, and one of the Forest. If the goddess is slain, these seals will hold the world together for about 1 week to give the heiarch time to find a new goddess, provided they are still whole

The Goddess: A young woman who is chosen to bear the burden of the goddess seal and keep the world intact. She is burdened by the weight of the seal which puts tremendous physical strain on her, as though her flesh is being torn from her. The goddess must be pure and therefore is not allowed to have a romance. The only release from being the goddess is death.


Pacts: A pact is a sort of bond between a beast and a man. Those who enter a pact Exchange the irreplacable for great power. Pact partners can ear each others thoughts even at great distances. Upon entering the pact, the human pays a price (e.g. sight, hearing, ability to reproduce ect.) and are branded with a mark often relating to the price they paid. Since a pact binds the two's souls together, if one pact partner is slain, the other dies as well. Pact partners, when together, are said to have the strength of a small army. Upon entering the pact, all wounds or diseases the members may have are eraesed.

The Heiarch: A high priest who is charged with protecting the seals and finding a new goddess upon the old one's death. He has no unordinary combat abilities unless he enters a pact.

The Empire: A massive military force bent on destroying the seals and slaying the goddess in an attempt to totally reconstruct the world. They possess superior naval might and stronger elite troops and has developed a weak air force.

The Union: An army forged of the remnants of the kingdoms destroyed by the empire that seeks to stop it. It possesses superior grunt ground troops and has an ever growing army.

The cult of the watchers: A mysterious cult linked to the empire

Rules:

-No godmodding
-Romance is to be kept at a PG13 level. If you really feel the need to do a sex scene, do a fade to black.
-I Reserve the right to deny any character entry, though i probably won't
-Don't have your character be one place then just appear somewhere else, if their pact beast allows for quick transportation then you can get there faster than others but still try to keep it realistic
-Wait for the person you are RPing with to post and be patient. If they don't post for three days than you are allowed to move past them.
-Try to post quickly so you don't keep others waiting.
-I may have to godmod at certain plot points.
-Cussing is allowed but don't go overboard.
-Try to use correct grammer. you won't be kicked out for not doing it but it sets my teeth on edge.
-If you want to use a character from the game, post it like an OC.
-You can post however short or long you want, sometimes there realy isn't all that much to say, but be as descriptive as you can
-You can be the Heiarch or Goddess but there can only be one of each at a time.
-You are allowed up to three characters at a time unless you ask and i give you permission to add more

Background: Was once the prince of a noble knigdom and heir to the throne, until the empire attacked. His entire kingdom was brought to his knees and his parents where devoured in front of his eyes by an imperial black dragon. During a battle, Caim was mortally wounded and stumbled to the castle courtyard, where a captured red dragon lay, also mortally wounded. "Tell me, do you still want to live dragon?" Caim asked the dying creature. "What?" it said, in response."A pact! There is no other way" The man shouted. "Hmh. What makes you worthy of a pact with me?" The dragon said snidely. "Worthy or not, i wish to live. Despise me if you will, but i shal not die! Now, your answer. A pact or death?!" Caim exclaimed. "Yes, a pact." And so their eternal bond was forged. To this day he still has a purning hatred for the empire and a desire for revenge
Other: Caim is a master swordsman and is well distinguished on the battlefeild because of it. If you get in his way or make him mad, he will not hesitate to kill you, regardless of age or gender.

Background: has been wondering through a variety of places ever since her home was destroyed by the Empire. She now seeks for revenge.
Other: She came across her Pegasus which she named Starlight when seeing what seemed to her a shooting star falling from the night sky. After investigating the fallen star she noticed it was a baby Pegasus and at the first sight of eachother they both quickly bonded. Soon they diceided to do a pact. From there on they have been together and fighting by eachothers side.

Caim was in the proccess of slaughtering imperial soldiers when his dragon flew down to back him up "Must you kill so many?" The dragon asked him "Yes. I'm a union commander. It's my job to kill empire soldiers." Caim responded in his mind "Hmh. you humans are fools one and all." The dragon said, realesing a burst of fire that incinerated the remaining troops.

 

Dakota finished killing soldiers in the room next to that one.He heard their conversation (Well,the dragon talking)he walked by them,"More like just him." Dakota said swiftly walking past,he stopped close to the door way,His head partially turned back,looking over his shoulder.He spoke loud enough for them to hear,but in a gentle voice."When you all relize war is pointless and stupid,Nature and reality is waiting." With that Dakota walked out the door,Partially hoping they'd follow him.He needed not to hurt them,no,They'd do that,In war.That dragon,was he talking to himself? Dakota sighed and continued walking.Playing with some water he had lifted in the air.

 

Caim turned his head sharply to the boy who had just entered. "Who are you?" The dragon asked "You don't seem to be with the empire. So then why are you in an imperial base? "

Caim coldly glared at him. "You cannot preach to this one, he cares only for settling..old grudges." The Dragon said to Dakota. "However, that still doesn't answer the question of what you are doing here." She continued

 

"You are not the only one that has a reason to hold grudges-" He stopped himself."No..." What was he saying?Right,"Ending what should've never started-war."

 

"Then tell me, if one side has to be destroyed in order to end it, which would you seek to destroy?" She questioned

 

"Neither.Anger cannot drive your life.They must have some reason to fight you.Being suppressed,you have your reason as well.You have no right to reject their reasons,as thier yours.Why do you fight>For revenge?What good does that do?Whoever or whatever happened has happened.Killing them will solve nothing."
