"Ummmmm, well listen, we aren't cannibles or any crud like that, so stop calling us that, cuz it is quite offensive. Ummmm, Ardina, can you stay here and watch him. By the looks of it, he is either insane, or has amnesia or somethen." steve said.

"And besides. I need to speak with steve in private." blaine said, already knowing what steve might try to say. "We won't be long" blaine said as him and steve started to walk towards one of the windmills.

Nick sat there, silent, looking around, feeling a little strange about this whole situation.

 

"Fine,' she said nodded. She watched as they walked off and then turned to face Nick. She leaned back, propping up against one of the many windmills that covered this field. Eying the boy she pulled out a small wooden flute and began to play softly.

 

Nick eyed her while remaining quiet, as he watched her play the flute. He sort of began to go off into a sort of mode of thought, not realizing that he was staring right at her as she played.

 

Ardina continued playing, staring at the sky. A light breeze came and she closed her eyes, enjoying it. As she opened them she turned back to face the boy, still playing. Noticing him staring at her, she raised her eyebrows. What is he looking at?

 

He then snapped out of his little train of thought, noticing that he was staring, so he made it sound as if he was waiting for a chance to talk to her or something and said "You play nice. Where'd ya learn?"


Muttering could be heard between steve and blaine, in a form of what sounded like arguing

 

Ardina stopped playing and a ghost of a smile appeared for a second. "As long as I can remember," she replied. Turning to look in the direction of the rest of her team she shook her head. "As long as I have been on their squad there hasn't been a day go by where they haven't argued about something."

 

"You're a......squad?" nick asked, now confused even more then he already was. Anymore, then he would get a head ache

 

Blade was watching them

 

((hey Blade is on our squad too right?))

"Yes," she said. She eyed him, making sure he wouldn't pass out again. "Do you remember that dragon earlier? Thats what the squads are for."

 

"Ummmm, the guy had wings before so then that must make you guys..........pixies?" nick said, raising an eyebrow.

ooc: ya, good point. He doesn't act like he is in the group yet....

OOC: yea he is in the squad

BIC: Blade continued to watch them as he leaned on the windmill

 

This time Ardina laughed but it was cold and unnatural. "No not really. You see, when we fight we have armor. We call it dragoon armor, and it gives us wings as well. I and everyone else on this squad have it."

She half turned and stared at Blade. "Will you check on those two," she said, pointing in the direction of Steve and Blaine," I don't want a fight starting.....again."

 

"let them argue. If they start to fight we will end it" Blade said still leaning on the windmill in a calm voice

 

"Say uncle!" blaine said, though steve refused to say it. In the short matter of minutes that Ardina took to talk with Nick, already, the two got into a fight, steve on the ground with his arm twisted around his back, his face shoved to the ground. "SAY UNCLE!" blaine yelled. "NEVER!!!!!!!!!" steve yelled.

"Alrite, I understand that then......sorta. Though I'm still confused. How do you people do this?" nick asked

 

Blade looked at Blane and Steve and sighed "i was right not to go. I meen can't stop the inevitable" Blade said

 

Ardina rolled her eyes and looked at Nick. "Excuse me for a moment," she said, bowing gracefully. She turned on her heel and marched over to the boys. Grabbing a fistful of Blaine's hair, she yanked him up and then did the same to Steve. She held them both by their hair and growled threateningly. "Stop that, you look like children, apologize to each other!!"

They both were saying ow. "Fine, fine, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" steve said.

Blaine remained quiet, trying to keep his dignity, no matter how much it hurt.

Nick went up and walked over to Blade, and asked "Is she always this scary?"


ooc: ouch, with hair like theirs, that really has got to hurt.

 

"yes sometimes even scarier" Blade said

 

"Hmmmmm. I might be some where that I have never even heard of with freaky dragons and people that wear armor with wings and have super powers, but so far, I'm starting to think that you're the sainest one out of them all." nick mumbled to blade

 

Blade nodded in agreement
