She felt something change about her eyes sight. She rubbed her eyes once and blinked, seeing that her eyes went clear. She smiled and blinked a few more times before rubbing them once more. She hugged Gallad with a great smile.
"Thank you so much," she said.

 

He blushed and said "It's no problem. It was simple healing magic." He then collapsed in her arms, unconscious.

 

She caught him and smiled. She saw his face a little red and she chuckled. She kissed his cheek again and laid him down on the ground softly. She pulled his blanket over him and ran her fingers through his hair. She smiled.

Kiara soon awoke and saw Requarth beside her she smiled and looked over at Jordan.
"Is he alright?" she asked

"Yeah, he must be very worn out," she said.

 

Requarth woke up and asked What happened? Is he okay?

 

"Yeah i think he's fine. He just healed my eyes," she said rubbing them once more trying to get used to them.

 

That would take a lot of magic to do that. No wonder he's exausted. Requarth said. Using magic takes up the energy it would take to do it without magic. If you go too far, you could wind up dead. he explained.

 

Her eyes got wide and she looked back at Gallad.
"Will he be okay?" she asked a little worried

 

Don't worry, he'll be fine. he said. He's a tough guy. He just needs some rest to regain his energy.

 

She smiled and stood up, walking over to Kiara...
"Kiara, i think i can do that trick now, if you're up for it," she said.

Kiara nodded.
"Yes I'm fully rested and prepared for anything," she said with a grin.

 

And I'll be here to catch you.

 

Kairotu walked over to the boy and put a hand on his brow. He mumbled a few words in the ancient language and then stood, unfazed. He smiled and turned to the girl. "May I?" he asked, gesturing towards her eyes. He wanted to inspect how the boy had performed.

 

Jordan looked back at the person she was confused about.
"Sure. Kiara, you can go stretch your wings for a while," she said.

Kiara bowed her head then stretched out her wings.
"Would you care to join me Requarth?" she asked with a smile.

 

I would love to. he said. He stretched his wings out as well.

 

She still smiled and she flew off into the sky, going the way she did when she patrolled the area the night before.

 

Requarth took off after her and followed her.

 

He smiled. "My dragon will join yours, he aches for company." Just as he spoke a mighty roar split the air and Exuro flew over them. Kairotu walked over, though it was more like dancing, and examined her eyes. "Fine work..but it won't hold forever. If you and the other man accompany me to the elven capital then the elves might be able to heal you for good."

 

She rubbed her eyes once ore and looked back at him.
"Okay then. I would greatly appreciate that," she said.


Kiara poked Requarth with her tail and flew straight ahead.
"You're it," she said laughing as she sped up.

 

Not for long! he said, chasing after her. He caught up to her and tagged her. You're it!

 

She turned around and laughed.
"I'll get you back!" she said flying towards him.

 

You don't want our new friend to feel neglected now, do you? Requarth asked, flying away from her.
