dragon riders of the old Alagaesia

Gallad climbed to the top and Requarth flew to him. Gallad climbed into the saddle and said Follow them Requarth!
Sorry Gallad, I can't. Jordan needs some time alone. They will meet us back at the camp tommorrow. Requarth replied, flying back to the camp.
"She hates me." he said, before passing out from exaustion. Requarth landed at the camp site and set Gallad down and covered him with one of the blankets.

 

Jordan also collapsed from exaughstion. She slept comfortingly.

Kiara looked back at the camp seeing that Requarth landed. She smiled started heading towards a large field she had in case of emergencies. She looked up at the sky and saw it was a possibilaty f a storm. She got a little worried about Jordan and the others. She landed and pulled Jordan off slowly. She curled up and kept Jordan close, to keep the winds away from her. She tried to sleep.

 

Requarth saw that a storm was coming too. He folded one of his wings over Gallad to protect him and fell asleep.

 

Kiara seemed to go through the storm okay. It wasn't bad, but the wind was chilling. She slept comfortingly after the storm was over until morning came.

 

Once morning came, Requarth woke up and stretched. He saw Gallad was asleep still and just let him rest.

 

Jordan awoke and sat up, stretching her arms. She looked up at the sky and saw it was a little cloudy. She thoght for a moment. She saw Kiara already awake.
"I think we should head back to camp," she said unaware that Gallad and Requarth was there.
Kiara nodded and she stood up, shaking off the excess water from teh rain. she allowed Kiara to hop on her back and then she took off.

 

Requarth shook himself off and went to look for food. He left Gallad alone, still sleeping.

 

Kiara flew towards the camp. She saw Gallad. As did Jordan.

"Kiara go back," she said quickly.

"Not yet Jordan. I think you misunderstood Gallad," she said

 

Requarth found some food and went after it.
Gallad woke up and saw them there. "Jordan, please just let me explain." he said.

 

Jordan still felt uneasy. She didn't know whether to trust him or not. But, she did remember yesterday when he helped her when she fell out of the sky, so she decided to listen to him.
"Okay then," she said hopping off Kiara.

 

He got to his feet and dusted himself off. "The only reason I know about your sister is because Kiara told us while you were sleeping after your fall." he said.
Requarth returned with some meat and other food.

 

Jordan looked over at Kiara.
"Why didn't you tell me you told them?" she asked

"Sorry jordan, I forgot," she said then licked her face.

Jordan giggled and looked back at Gallad.
"I'm sorry for running off. ever since my sister's disappeareance, I've been a little causious(sp?) about myself," she said.

 

"It's okay." he said, walking up to her. "I've got an idea, lets look for your sister together!"
That sounds like a good idea to me. Requarth said.

 

Jordan smiled and pulled a small sketched picture out of her pocket. She handed it to Gallad
"Thats my sister, Jessie.. She could almost be my twin but she's younger than me," she said.

"Alright. So this is who we are looking for." he said. "Lets get started after we eat." He started setting up a fire. He concentrated and said "Brisingr" and the fire started, just like before.

 

Jordan took off her backpack and puled out two apples. She threw one up in the air.

Kiara ate the apple when it reached up to her head. She swallowed it and smiled.

Jordan took a bite of her apple and pulled two more out.

"Would you and Requarth like one?" she asked

 

"Sure, and would you like some cooked meat too?" Gallad asked, taking the apple. He took some of the meat Requarth brought back and cooked it over the fire.
Requarth nodded and opened his mouth.

 

"No, i don't eat meat... I find it unhealthy for both myself and Kiara. Kiara doesn't want to eat meat because where she is an animal," she said. She looked over at Requarth and smiled. She threw the apple up at him for him to eat, jsut as she did with Kiara.

 

Requarth swallowed the apple and took a bite of raw meat. BUt meat is good for us dragons, it helps us grow. he said.
"More for us I guess." Gallad said, eating some of the cooked meat.

 

Kiara lowered her head, and Jordan patted her.
"Kiara has a past about that," she said softly.
