dragon riders of the old Alagaesia

Jordan laughed with excitement and told Kiara to slow down and stay in place. Jordan looked at Gallad.
"This is where I'm going," she said.
"Now?" Kiara asked her.
"Now," Kiara said, with a smile. Kiara flipped around, and let Jordan fall out. She free falled in mid air and rushed herself towards the ground, though she was high up. Kiara soon rushed down waiting for the perfect time.

 

All Gallad could do was look on with amazement. Then, he regained his senses and said to Requarth We have to fly down and catch her!
Took you long enough. Requarth replied, going into a dive to save her.

 

Kiara looked back and saw that Gallad and Requarth were also chasing her. Kiara smiled and backed off, letting them try.

Jordan looked back and saw Kiara stopped.
"Kiara!?" she called out, a little worried that no one would catch her as planned. She looked and saw Gallad and Requarth on their way down.

"Kiara, you sneaky," she started to say before she laughed at herself. But when she looked down, she wasn't so thrilled, she got closer than usual to the ground.

 

FASTER REQUARTH! he yelled.
Alright! Requarth replied, folding up his wings.
They dived down faster and Gallad caught Jordan. Requarth then opened his wings, crashed into a few trees, and flew into the air.

 

Jordan felt her heart beat quickly as she gasped and started shaking at how fast she was going and how close she could've hit the trees. She almost felt like crying, but she wasn't a child again, so she wouldn't show it. She let out a few soft cries though no tears escaped her eyes. She looked up at Gallad, Thankful he caught her. She didn't feel as though she could speak, as if she were in shock.

 

"It's okay to cry, I won't think any less of you." he said. "I'm just glad you're safe."
So am I. Requarth said.

 

Jordan nodded and lowered her face, feeling the warm tears roll down her cheek. She wiped her eyes once and let out more soft cries.

Kiara soon flew downwards next to Requarth, thankful of him.
"Thank you Requarth for helping her," she said softly. She felt a little bad that she wasn't able to help her rider.

 

It was the least we could do. Requarth replied.
"Let it out." said Gallad to Jordan. "Just let it all out."

 

She finished up with what was holding inside her and she looked up with a smile.
"Thank you . You really know how to make something better," she said, wiping her eyes. She looked over at Kiara and said
"It's okay, not your fault." She could feel that she felt guilt and that was was afraid that she would be mad, but she was just a little shook up.
"I think its best that I head back to my camp," she said.

 

Kairotu sat astride Exuro. They were up fairly high but he had his mind merged with Exuro's so seeing wasn't a problem. He was content and they gazed over the landscape.They spotted another pair of dragons but those weren't uncommon so he took no notice.

 

"We'll come with you, just to make sure nothing else happens." he said. Requarth flew closer to Kiara and Gallad placed Jordan on Kiara's back.

 

"I'll go gently," Kiara said.

Jordan nodded and laid down fully on Kiara. She was tired and still a little shook up.

Kiara then started heading towards the river.

 

Requarth and Gallad followed them. They should really use a dragon saddle, that way she won't fall off. he said to Requarth.
Yes, they should. Maybe you could make one for them? Requarth suggested.
Maybe.

 

Kiara soon made it to a large clearing where a tent and campfire was. Kiara then walked through the tall grass and stepped onto the short grass, lying down as she grew tired also. She looked back and saw that Jordan fell asleep on the way. She chuckled.
"Looks like someone is very tired," she said sweetly.

 

Requarth landed next to them and Gallad got off. He took Jordan off Kiara's back and placed her down on the ground. He took a blanket from Requarth's saddle and covered her with it. He then proceeded to make a fire pit. He took some nearby kindling wood and set them up teepee style. He concentrated and said "Brisingr!" The wood caught on fire.

 

Kairotu saw a river ahead and from the looks of it was deep.Hey Exuro..wanna...

Exuro bobbed his head. Of course!!


Exuro folded his wings and dove down. Kairotu gripped with his legs, since he had no saddle, and let out a loud whoop. He preferred to not have a saddle, it felt more natural that way. He put his arms above his head and let out another whoop just before they went into the water. The impact sound was like thunder, and could be heard for miles around. If that wasn't enough, Exuro gave an earspliting roar when they broke the surface again.

 

OOC: I guess i should read the books lol

BIC: Kiara slept peacfully and very comfortingly.

Kiara looked at the other two.
"So where have you two traveled from? I don't believe I've seen you here," she said softly.

 

Kairotu laughed and flung himself off of Exuro's back, into the water. He opened his mouth and sucked in some cold water, swallowing. He finished drinking it and headed back to the surface for more air. His head broke the top of the water, sending water droplets flying like little diamonds. The sky was a nice pleasant blue and for a while Kairotu floated on his back admiring them. Suddenly something pulled him under.

 

OOC: You should, it's much better than the movie. It's actually a trilogy, the first book is Eragon, the second is Eldest, I don't think the third has been released yet, though.

BIC: "We have been exploring this world." Gallad said. "We just finished crossing the Hadarac Desert yesterday." He stretched his arms. "It's been a long trip, but we think it's worth it!"

 

"Stay as long as you like if you wish... We have been setting up to travel ourselves in a few days... Jordan is looking for her sister who was taken from her a few years ago, and a traveler came by a while ago and told us that he saw her in village out there. It all seems so exciting," she said smiling.

Jordan yawned and sat up. She stretched a few times then realized there was a blanket on her. She looked at it closely and smiled. She looked over at Gallad.

"Thank you," she said handing him back the blanket. She sat close to Kiara and smiled.
