He nodded once, pleased, "Well, now that we are here why don't we start your education of the ancient language."

Exuro flew quietly behind them.

 

Jordan nodded and pulled her hair back into a small bun.
"Okay then," she said, smiling

Kiara looked back and nodded.
"You're right she said," softly. She turned and poked Exuro.
"You're it it seems like," she said with a smile. She flew straight ahead and caught up with Requarth

 

"Hmmm...what t start with...swordplay...magic...hmm...what would you like to start with?" He cocked his head and waited for her reply.

Exuro blinked and then flashed his fangs in a smile and shot off toward Requarth, aiming to get him.

 

"I don't use swords, only my fists and kunai when needed," she said.

 

Requarth went into a dive to escape getting tagged.

 

"Oh? Well then its settled. Magic first." He picked up a small piece of bark and said in a loud confident voice, "Brisingir!" The bark burst into flames.

Exuro followed him in the dive, spinning to get more speed. He tagged him and then pulled up.

 

Jordan jumped back and fell over from the suprise burst of the flame.

Kiara stopped in the air and went the other direction.

 

He chuckled and dropped the bark, kicking dirt over it to put out the flames.

 

Jordan sat up and rubbed the back of her head.
"Ow," she said softly then looked back up.
"So all I have to say is 'Brisingir'"? she asked

 

"Yes....and...no..See you have to feel it and focus your power. Bend the word to shape what you want it to do. Give it a try, but you may feel a bit tired afterward. Don't worry, its normal."

 

She nodded and picked up a piece of bark beside her. She looked at it and focused. She took a deep breath and looked up. She took one more deep breath and looked back down. She was scared of fire, but she wouldn't let it get the best of her.
"Brisingir!" she shouted, letting the words be concentrated only on the piece of bark. She saw it spark and saw a small flame on the tip. She already felt tired, but it wasn't even a big flame.

 

"Good!" he said. "Keep it going as long as you can, when you can't just let it go."

 

You got me! he thought, pulling up from the dive. He began to chase after them.

Gallad opened his eyes, feeling relaxed and refreshed.

 

She nodded and concentrated more on the bark.
"Brisingir!" she shouted, making another flame, but only slightly bigger. She felt already worn down, but she kept it going .

 

Gallad watched on with wonder. She's getting pretty good at that. he thought to himself.

 

She let the fire go out as she took a deep breathe. She looked down breathing raspy but she wouldn't give up, not now.
"Brisingir!" she shouted once more, making the same length of fire appear on the burning bark.

 

Kairotu nodded. "Good, you can let it go now," he said. "That was great for your first time. Keep practicing or rest which ever you feel you need to. I will fetch us some food." With that he was gone, running through the trees like a deer.

Exuro snorted and spiraled upwards, right into the sun.

 

Gallad sat up and started clapping. "Good work!" he said. "It looks like you got the hang of it!"
Requarth decided to go after Kiara.

 

"I'd rather rest," she said laughing
Kiara came rushing by down on the ground. She flew towards Kiara. She smiled grabbed her, pulling her on her back.

"Let's go Jordan," she said with a smile.

Jordan laughed and held on.
"I'm tired though," she said.

"Aww come on ... please?" she said sweetly.

Jordan laughed.
"Okay, We'll do it once," she said.

 

Kairotu was back. He had gathered some fruit and vegetables and set them down near the fire. "There, now for a little fun." He whistled an earsplitting, unearthly sound and Exuro came swooping down from the sky. As Exuro dove, Kairotu began to run, he ran as fast as the dragon flew, due to the fact that he was an elf, and soon they were eye level. Kairotu jumped and landed on Exuro, gripping the hard scales, since he had no saddle, and they shot up into the air.
