Film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods

Yeah. It was announced a day or two ago. I am quite curious to what it may be. Maybe we will have Uub, Majin Buu (Good), and some other surprises. I know some of us are still waiting to see Vegeta legitly turn into a Super Saiyan 3. What do you all think?

 

I'm seriously amazed there's a new DBZ movie. I thought people stopped making DBZ movies after Wrath of the Dragon, which was actually a pretty good movie in itself. I mean, I guess there was that one movie which was made to take place after Baby, but I thought they made that and then decided to continue the story, or I just don't keep up enough with this stuff.

I wouldn't mind seeing this movie, as long as it's not something that takes place way early in the DBZ universe, and we somehow get Goku fighting an impossible battle, get strength, king kai saying something stupid like "is this super sayain" when he should have already had it, and all that nonsense.

 

There was another image that showed that displayed Goku, Krillan, Goten, Trunks, Piccolo, Gohan (superior form) and Vegeta so I highly doubt that it will be in the past.

well, at least that's settled. I sometimes wonder why they don't add Yamcha to anything, even if just for comedy. I've only seen him for like a minute in Bojack Unbound or whatever, and even that wasn't worth it. The guy kinda got useless real quick

 

Let me put it how Vegeta did in DBZ Abridged:

"Yamcha? What's a Yamcha? It sounds painfully useless.

Just like a Raditz."

The trailer was released for the Movie. It really doesn't reveal anything though.

 

nobody get me wrong. i love DBZ and all totally a must watch for any anime fan i think. but does anyone else feel like this series is awesome but really dumb at the same time? like all of the villains could've been defeated if they would have a) killed them while they were powering up or b) stopped them from finding other sources to get stronger (example when Vegeta allowed Cell to suck up that android).

 

Not really. I only see this possible with Cell.

 

I didn't realize DBZ was still going on. I guess that's neat, but I'm not much of a fan, so I won't be watching it really. I just think it's curious they're still making movies for it.

 

On several occasions this could have been avoided. Let us begin with the beginning. This does not apply to Raditz, Vegeta, or Nappa. They were strong to begin with. Freeza could have died in his second form. Krillan had the ability to distructio disk right after he used Solar Flare. That could have ended the entire thing. For Cell, It is very true. Vegeta was being a dumbass and let him absord 17. That really burned everyone. Same with 18. Majin Buu... Goku said he could have easily won at super saiyan 3 before Buu turned into Super Buu and ect.

 

i guess im the only one. still an amazing anime but gah those aspects of the series bug the living hell out of me.

I swear to God this movie better not be a disappointment.
