what? she lives in Mexico, right? and she travels to tons of other countries, right? In the times that I have watched the show, I have never seen her stop at customs.
and no I'm not saying this because she's Mexican.

also, Swiper becomes obsessed with FPS's and they have to change his name to Sniper.

xD Boys, of course! :D A girl can't stick to a monkey her whole life! :O

xD He'd instantly become my favorite after that! xDDD

Still, why on earth can't they keep it for kids? >.< I'm curious to see what'll happen now .__.

Makes me wonder, are they gonna do something with Diego, too? O.o

Why are so many people saying that this is a bad idea? Since a lot is still unknown, there's not much we can say about it.

Maybe their general audience changing, growing up and moving on, so they're moving along with them.

They're expanding their television show, not changing it entirely.

I think they only did this so the kids who acutally grew up with dora when it first came out, can still watch her and relate. That is the only reason I think they did it.

And because shes a cash cow.

    I would agree with this.

Personally I don't see what the big deal is, so what if they make her a tween? It is hardly a scandal.

Yeah, before the acutal picture and it was just a shaodow, they said that she might become "Boy-crazy" and stuff like that.

She might just be the same, and still love adventures.

Haha, I can picture boy-crazy Dora. "hey bby, why don't u nd i do sum explorin'?"

Anyway, no big deal honestly. I don't watch Dora the Explorer, and I don't intend to watch this. My little sister does, but she's much too young to care about 'tween' Dora. The only audience this show would have would probably be around ages 6-9; like Rayku said, those are the kids that grew up on Dora, and now they can relate better.
