Yes, that is Dora the Explorer. Except, this time, she's a tween attending middle school. Her makeover was supposed to be revealed in the fall, but they released a silhouette to create an anticipation for this new show. And many, many angry parents called in, upset that she may be skimpy or something. So, they released what she looks like to calm them down. Not much is known about the show, but it is aimed at tweens and it will be extremely gay. Many a porn will be made of this new Dora, I know it.

    Hawt. :)

I think this is pointless. What's wrong with keeping her aimed at younger kids?

I saw this on msn. How the hell does she go from being 5 to 12 in one hop? Seriously... If your gonna do something like this, make it gradual.

I take it you've never seen the Rugrats special All Grown Up, when the babies went from toddlers to tweens in a matter of seconds.

Back to this...I kinda lol'd when I first saw this on Yahoo News. And if I can be honest, at least she doesn't look like those damned Bratz dolls. I don't think the design's half bad.

This idea is worse than the one for a live action movie.

All Grown Up you mean. The original was fine

Anyway, they are goint to have to make some MAJOR changes to convince tweens to watch this

I'm more unnerved at how we're actually discussing Dora the Explorer in general, not so much that it's in a particular section.

I personally think this is hardly an intelligent discuss. It won't sell. They're just milking a dead cow now.Dora is becoming uninteresting so there changing her in a failing attempt to grab ratings.

Cartoons tend to do that a lot... like Rugrats, Ben 10, etc. Now...the question is: Isn't this spam?

And guys, they are going to keep making the original Dora series. They're producing both at the same time. Old (or young) Dora is still going to keep running and they will still make new episodes, but they'll have episodes of the new Dora being made as well.
