    I feel your pain. My mom's room was across the hall from mine, and I had the pleasure of staring into her room's black dismal abyss and wonder if she was staring into mine. Creeeeepy.
    Now I have to worry about a roommate who wakes at the sound of a pin drop. You can imagine how impossible "sneaking" is.

    There's a creaky floorboard right in front of the door to the loo. So my parents pretty much know when I'm awake enough to go to the bathroom. Which is...mildly creepy.
