Don't Leave

He crouched down and held his hand out. "Can you reach?" he asked.

 

"Take Hannah first.. It'll be easier," she said. She pulled Hannah up to her best ability.

 

"Alright." he said, picking Hannah up and setting her down behind him, reaching down again for Kimberly. "Now it's your turn."

 

She tried to reach her hand up to grab his...

 

"If you can't reach, try jumping." he said.

 

She jumped once touching his hand but couldn't grab it. She jumped once more, locking her hand on his.

 

He held on to her tightly and pulled her up. He slipped and fell backward, pulling her on top of him. He saw how close their faces were and blushed a little.

 

Kimberly blushed, but something inside her made her do the next thing she did. Her face was as red as his, and she pulled herself closer to the part where her lips were touching his.

 

He blushed more and closed his eyes, kissing her back.

 

Kimberly felt an anger rise in her, and yet a hint of jealousy. She hadn't know what made her feel jealous. Maybe it was the fact that he had what she wanted. A normal life as a human. She wanted that, because now of all times was the worst to be a vampire. Her teeth felt sharper and she felt an adrenaline rush kick it. Her eyes went red, and his scent made her feel even more aggressive. She let go of the kiss, growling. She got closer to the side of his neck, almost snapping but she forced herself so hard to stop. She did and broke down, starting to cry softly. .

 

Seeing her crying, but not knowing why, he asked "What's wrong? Am I that bad of a kisser?"

 

"Please," she said, actually whispering. She felt her chest hurt painfully after her small aggressive stage.
"Don't tempt me," she whispered again.
"I came... so close, to hurting you," she said, a hint of sadness in her voice.

 

"But why would you want to hurt me?" he asked, confused.

 

"My instincts," she said. She stood up and took a step back, falling over to cliff again, landing on her side. Now she didn't feel so aroused in his approach.

 

He held his hand out again. "I still don't understand. Do you need to feed too?" he asked.

 

"I didn't, but your scent was so floral," she said. She still lay on the ground. She sighed
"Just leave me," she said.

 

"You know I can't do that." he said.

 

She groaned and sat up, pulling herself up to grab his hand. She did so.

 

He pulled her back up and picked up Hannah. "Let's head back to Jake." he said.

 

She nodded and tried her best to stay as far as she could but kept slightly close to him.
