Don't Leave

He saw her smile and smiled himself. "I'm going to take her back to her family." he said, getting up and picking her up.

 

Kimberly heard him but didn't bother waking up, cause she'd just fall back asleep. She dreaded what her family would say. She groaned softly.

 

He gently carried her back to Jake and Hannah, trying not to wake or hurt her.

 

Jake saw Bobby coming back with Kimberly.
"Do you think she's okay?" he asked.

 

"She'll be fine, she just fed and is now sleeping." he said.

 

"We'll have to go to London now.... We've got no other place. I'm sure we can use Nina and Mikael will let us use their third cabin," he said.

 

"What about me?" he asked. "I can't leave. If I get caught leaving with you guys, you will be known as kidnappers and killed on sight. But I can't leave Kimmy either. What am I to do?"

 

"You do what you have to do... We'll have to try and make it out of the city," he said.

 

"Well, I want to come with you guys, but I don't want to put your lives in danger, either." he said.

 

"then let me go"

BIC: Jake sighed softly.
"No.. this is a family thing.. If Nina and Mikael knew that others knew of our existance, they'd flip out and erase your memory.

"that....wont work im not ...normal..your tricks they dont work"
he looked at them
"i was taught how to resist by another of your kind"

 

"There is no such thing based on my calculations. I see everything and I haven't found one vampire who can resist an erasion of memory. Resistance or not, if that won't work, they'll kill you," he warned.

 

"But I can't leave her." he said. "Not now. Not after I've fallen in love."

 

"You what?" Jake asked surprised. He took a few deep breaths.
"That's not good, that's very very bad," he said.

 

"What do I do?" he asked. "I don't want to lose my memories, but I don't want to be away from her either. Can't they like not erase my memory? Can't they let me stay with you guys?"

 

"You'd only lose your memories if Nina and Mikael didn't think you'd keep it a secret" Jake said.

 

"I can!" he said. "I have so far haven't I?"

 

"I'm not the one to decide. Nina is," he said.

 

"I'll just have to convince her then." he said. "When do we leave?"
