"I'm not trying to make you feel better. I just speak what I think." he said.

 

"You better watch what you say in front of my brother though. Don't let him know you're a Jenkian," She said.
"Jake!" she shouted again, hoping he would come down this time.

 

"What do you need?" he asked. "Maybe I can get it for you?"

 

"It's fine, I'll get it in a minute," she groaned. She stood up.
"I'll be right back," she said. She didn't run or dash, but quickly ran upstairs.

 

"Okay." he said, feeling unneeded.

 

Kimberly got upstairs to her brother's room.
"Give me a few of your pills," she said.
"Lose yours again?" he asked her. She nodded and he got a few out of his pocket and gave it to her.
"Any news on the guards?" she asked.
"Apparently, they took Hannah and did tests on her. They found out that fresh blood can be used as a sickness weakness," he said. Kimberly growled.
"Damn it!" she shouted, pounding her fist into the wall. She dashed back downstairs and back into the kitchen, getting a few bottled waters. She brought them back to the table, giving one to Bobby. She put her pills on the table and opened up the water.

 

"Thanks." he said, taking a sip of the water. "What are those pills for?"

 

"Nothing," she growled. She took a gulp of water and mixed it with the few pills. She swallowed hard, coughing after she'd swallowed the pills.

 

"Alright." he said, looking down and feeling like he did something wrong.

 

She read his mind clearly.
"It wasn't you," she said. She stood up and shook her head.
"I'm going to go for a walk..." she said.

 

"Can I go with you?" he asked.

 

"I'd rather you not.. I have to run an errand for Jake and stuff," she said.

 

"Can't I help?" he asked.

 

"This is family matters," she said, getting her bag and walking out the door.

 

"Oh, I see." he said, feeling useless.

 

"You're not useless," she said, still able to read his mind. She closed the door after walking out. She started running towards the city palace.

 

"Oh let him help, he looks like a lost puppy," Vaahg grinned, exposing his fangs. He stood tall, feeling that, after a millennium, he had the right to speak his mind. Vaahg sighed as she left.

 

"Then what can I do?" he asked himself, not knowing the answer.

 

Jake came downstairs.
"Where did Kimmy go?" he asked.

 

"She said she was going out to run an errand for you." he said.
