    We had those small chat boxes at the bottom like on Facebook? I think it would be interesting to have this feature.

    It's been brought up before. IIRC What it really comes down to is we don't have the bandwidth to do chat. Hell, this site has a tendancy to crash without it.

    Essentially VMs give you the same effect as one-on-one chat and the spamzone is the same for large chat. So not having chatroom(s) is not that much of a loss.
