Kingdom Hearts II donald and goofy

where did they go wen u faced all thoughs heartless in the cave in land of the dragons, before you face the heartless they're at the other side of the barrier but wen ur facing the heartless they aint then they reappear after the battle.

 

maybe they are looking for a way to get into the cave and help you

 

It would almost be the same as the battle within saix. Supposedly it would have sense having them on the other side of the barrier but what would they do? just stand around like npcs like they're? maybe it's just because they literally made donald and goofy disappear but it would all be simple if square-enix and disney would explain everything right here right now but that would all be too easy. In truth i really have no idea but i do try to think of it so there maybe another reason why they won't appear...

 

maybe a glitch in the programs wen they sent it out?

 

Story wise, they probably were helping Sora.

Game wise, make Sora fight all those heartles to make the game very interesting.

 

I dunno. Doesn't that happen a couple of times throughout all the games? I guess it's just to make a it a little more of a challenge.

They most likely went after Xemnas.

The game does that. When Donald and Goofy are separated, they don't appear during battle. It's just a thing. It has no relevance to the story. It happens a lot.

If you HAD to make up a reason why they left then, it was probably becuase they were looking for a way out or something. I don't know.

Basically what Orange said! Another possible reason could be there was a barrier that came and then vanished, or it's just part of the game, to make it harder. XD Or maybe they had some other job to do. lol

 

Well I'm pretty sure the two were just blocked out by that force field. I really don't think there was much reason behind it except to show Mulan's increase of morale.
