i dont know why im posting this

    not really discussion-worthy
just putting it out there so i can get it off my chest
and not to wallow in self-pity but i dont really have anyone else to say this to that would respond with any amount of concern or sympathy

long, pisses-me-off story short, my dog needs surgery

but this sucks because surgery is expensive and with it being the holiday season money is tight as it is

ive gotten used to not having much money to spare these past few years but when you hear something like "when we find the money" it can really shake you up coming at a time like this

and whats worse is that the reason he needs it falls entirely on someones laziness

we had a scare like this the first year we had him
but somehow the problem passed and he ended up not needing surgery

the problem was the same thing

and ive been thinking ever since that we wouldnt get lucky twice
if this were to happen again it would be worse and there would be no avoiding it

you would think that someone would learn from their mistake and try everything they could to make sure we didnt come here again

    but no

theyre too damn lazy and it makes me absolutely furious

we're here because of you. its entirely your fault. you did nothing to prevent this. you have no right to feel bad. you have no right to make excuses. you have no right to blame anyone but yourself.

i would like to think this would teach them a lesson but who knows

    i dont know

i didnt even want a dog

I went through a situation earlier this year with one of my cats. I keep thinking, maybe they would have noticed something when they removed the mass of tissue from his upper lip. Maybe he wouldn't have had to suffer like he did.

Maybe he would still be here. I guess he still is, in a way.

Really sorry for your problem. I know how it feels to be tight on money while one of your pets needs medical help, be it x-rays, or a surgery. Hope things work out for and your dog.
