Riku Replica uses a keyblade? If u mean that Bat-wing looking thing, thats just a sword, its not actually a keyblade, no chain, no key form, lol, and the bald guy uses it for like...3 swings if that, and a cluster of them in a tornado type attack. I'm pretty sure the Keyblade wielder(s) are chosen by the keyblade. Mickey got his from the dark realm, the 3 knights and everyone in that scence...no clue. Riku obtained his in the dark realm too if I'm not mistaken, and I'm pretty sure he brought Kairi's with him from the dark realm, maybe they can just be pulled out of the dark realm like a Keyblade-making machine >_> Idk. V_V Oh, and Roxas can use keyblades because, in a way, he IS Sora, well...part of Sora.....so ya, the Keyblade see's him as it's "Chosen One"

No, only people with strong hearts filled with light can wield the Keyblade.

    >_> thats not really true...because not ONLY does Riku wield a keyblade, he wields it while in "Ansem Form" or whatever you call it, the keyblade would most likely reject him.

    It's Riku, AKA Mr. Person-who-was-originally-supposed-to-wield-the-Keyblade!

Only true keyblade wielders: Sora, Riku, Mickey.

Roxas can use keyblades because he's Sora's nobody. Riku Replica can't. If the Soul Eater WAS a keyblade and not just a sword with the power of darkness or whatever, still no, it's just data by Vexen.

As for anybody from the secret ending, well it's still a mystery, and I haven't seen the ending in a while but I think those didn't have keychains on them. Still, that hasn't really been answered yet.

Roxas: He can use it primarily because he is the Nobody of Sora; the true keyblade master.

Riku: He can use it (later on) because he was supposed to be the wielder. He was the original.

Replica Riku: Just data. He never used a keyblade. He used the Soul Eater.

Kairi: Still a bit of a mystery. My only reasoning is that she got it from Riku; another one of the true keyblade wielders.

    The Bald guy: Mystery...

The guy with the Bald guy: XD Wow.

The Knight with blue hair: N/A

The Knight with brown hair: N/A

King Mickey: He was the one who set out in the first place to get the keyblade. xD

Why was Riku Replica included in the list? Oh yeah, Princesses of Heart have extremely strong hearts, strong enough to wield the keyblade.

well, Mickey clearly states that he got his keyblade out of the darkness realm, how....because he's freaking Mickey Mouse, that's how!!! Heh, honestly I have no clue, and The Keyblade did choose Riku as well, but, when Riku gave into darkness, it switched to Sora, something to that affect, maybe when Sora's heart was taken..it switched to Kairi for a split second allowing her to wield one? lol ya...lets go with that

    Well....four: Mary Sues, Gary-Stus
    D: Oh noes.
It does seem like almost anybody can wield a keyblade....the whole graveyard thing...
The keyblade master(s) seem to multiply as the games go on.

In my opinion i believe everyone must be able to wield a keyblade, or at least have the potential to. Mainly because i mean we've seen good and bad guys with them, one of ansems report said they can bring either chaos or order (or something like that) and my main point is look at all those keyblades that are in that keyblade graveyard. I mean they cant all be from a keyblade master. So everyone must have the ability to wield one.

It is my belief is that the key blade choses people who want to protect somoeone or something and everyone else get one on their own. my reason for believing this is...

Sora: has the biggest heart and wants to protect his friends

    Roxas: nobody of sora

Riku: wants to later on in kh2 protect his friends (when he gets it in that scene in kh1 at hollow bastion i think is because at that moment he had the stronger heart than sora)

Kairi: got it from riku who probably got it from the dark realm and she also wants to protect her friends

The Bald guy: toke it probably from the realm of darkness

The guy with the Bald guy: not sure

The 3 Knights: they want to protect each other and i think they are a family (because man + woman=boy when the man approaches he holds the boy back like to protect him and when he gets frozen the woman looks extremely sad)

King Mickey: he got his from realm of darkness

...and i also believe that the keyblade chooses people who protect their friends because in the scene where roxas and sora are fighting roxas is in the air and is looking at sora on the ground and on the floor around sora is images of his friends and roxas realizes why the keyblade chose sora

    Drive forms and keyblades

If you're having trouble trying to get a handle on wielding one keyblade...

How do you explain so many wielding two?!

Roxas was the first we saw with two keyblades, in the trailer for KH2. (Isn't Riku using his dark sword instead of the dark keyblade he got in that one?)

One is Light but one is Dark, there's something similar when sora uses two. There's one Light one and... the other that is representative of a seperate entity. Suggests that the people he's with are 'lending' him keyblades or their ability to use/wield one.

I think the Awakening theory holds a lot of water. And that Anti-form has something to do with the darkness that is in Sora's heart. We know the only people truly without Darkness are the princess'. It stands to reason that awakening might have something to do with coming to terms with both your Dark and Light sides. Not necessarily embracing, or even balancing! But learning that you have both and to embrace your full potential means embracing both as a whole. Riku 'no longer belongs in the realm of darkness' but still has that dark edge to his power. Is he on the way to being awakened? Is Sora the same now?

Read the translated thing that someone just posted, it talks about this.

Essentially, if you have a strong heart, whether good or evil, by current standards you can weild a keyblade as it is the materializtion of the power in your heart (or something along those lines) thusly why evil people can weild them as well. I think that Nomura did a few things in the first game because he thought it was going to be an only game, and so he is trying to undo a few of those things now so he has a more open plot to run with.

Why does no one include Genie? :(

    Proof:

Sora: Was "chosen" by the Keyblade during his mini-adventure in Dive to the Heart... thus able to wield one.. but has yet to acquire one.. Then when Riku revealed the keyhole to the Heartless, and gave into darkness in his endeavor to depart from his world, the keyblade that would have been his went to Sora. Later, Riku came back and held onto Sora's Keyblade for a spell, without it going back to Sora, since it was originally his (he just went through the portal of darkness before he was granted it) then gives it back to Sora.. Then in Hollow Bastion, Riku takes it back... Even in Dark Mode Riku continues to hold it, until Sora's heart became stronger with the strength his friends have given him and the Keyblade permanently becomes Sora's. Sora later momentarily wields the Dark Keyblade forged from the hearts of the 6/7 Princesses of Heart, to release the 7th princess' heart from his own... He wields his own Keyblade he got from Riku from his salvation by Kairi, all the way up to KH2. Then, he acquires the power to "Drive", giving him access to up to 2 Keyblades (the origin of the second Keyblade is unknown) Sora also dual-wields his own Keyblade alongside Riku's Way to the Dawn in the last assault on Xemnas.

Riku: Somehow was chosen by the Keyblade to be its wielder (although this is never shown) but his departure into the darkness leaves it with Sora. He comes back and holds it in his hand, examining it, before giving it back to Sora. In Hollow Bastion he takes it back as his own... Still wielding it while in Dark Mode, but Sora's heart realizes power Riku's was neglecting (the power of friendship) and the Keyblade returns to Sora, as its rightful bearer. Riku, whose heart is being controlled by Xehanort's Heartless, forms the Dark Keyblade out of the captive hearts of 6 of the 7 Princesses of Heart, and wields it against Sora in battle.. Riku wields his Soul Eater sword for the duration of CoM and much of KH2, but near the end, it becomes (or goes into the creation of) the Way to the Dawn Keyblade, and he wields it in his Xehanort-Heartless form, and even has a Keyblade prepared for Kairi's use. He hands over his Way to the Dawn to Sora so he can dual-wield and take out Xemnas.

Kairi: Uhm, according to one of Xehanort's Reports, the Princesses of Heart, and the Keyblade have some sort of magnetic relationship... AND the Sora/Kairi/Roxas/Namine' process may have relayed Sora's power to wield the Keyblade back to Roxas, Kairi, and Namine'... We cannot be sure. BUT she does wield a Keyblade prepared for her by Riku... (where he got the Keyblade, no one knows)

King Mickey: If or how he was chosen, we cannot be sure, but where he GOT his Keyblade, he acquired it in the dark realm, landing him on the dark side of Kingdom Hearts... He wielded it from CoM and on...

Roxas: Afterall, he WAS Sora's Nobody... But, we don't know the length of time between his retrieval of the Keyblades and his creation... BUT, we know he left the Organization after wondering why he can wield them... Also, during a Heartless fight in TWTNW, he lent his Oblivion to Riku and kept on fighting with the Oathkeeper, only to re-acquire his Oblivion once he and Riku went head-to-head... Both Keyblades remained in his possession (albeit dormant) but he was uploaded to DiZ's virtual Twilight Town... and from whatever source, recieved a virtualized Keyblade (maybe DiZ, maybe some mysterious force) and later, while still inside, he went to a version of Dive to the Heart on his own, recieving that Keyblade immediately... And again, in the fight with Axel, (no longer digitized I believe) he immediately wields Oathkeeper & Oblivion against him... And half-joins with Sora for the rest of the game.. Until he fought Sora on a platform of his version of Way to the Dawn, with his Oathkeeper & Oblivion... (and according to KH2FM+, from time to time, Sora commandeers Roxas' Keyblades and wields them Final Form style..)

Genie: Don't ask me why, but Genie really could wield a Keyblade in KH2... that steamed from his genie-tail.. His methods are unknown.. it may be that since his summoning is stemmed from Sora's power (or story-wise, I believe he has the empty lamp, which lets Genie know he is needed) afterall, he does fight using Sora's Drive Forms... Or maybe just because he's a near-omnipotent genie he can do what he wants...??

Old Man, Dark Riku-esque warrior, Knights: NO idea... NO clues... Only time will tell.
